Dragon ball kakumei is literally giving the fans what they want. Vegeta traveling to universe 6, Piccolo training with the namekians, Gohan vs jiren, and now goten and trunks have ascended to super saiyan god.
They are going to be disgustingly strong after these 6 years

Bruh.......... Fan mangas have been better than the original for years. I stopped reading the original manga 2 years ago and almost every day I get positive confirmation that it was the right decision.

I like that Goten and Trunks are learning what it’s like to be in the shoes of the person who has to sacrifice. They’ll still be goofy when they come out of there but hopefully they’ll have a new level of maturity.
That ending was sick. Gotten and Trunks finally getting the respect they deserve.
The best part about this series is that it has everyone in the cast, stepping into new territory, and most importantly not depending on Goku. It feels like the Namek saga in Dragon Ball Z where Krillin and Gohan were fighting for their lives since the moment they stepped on Namek.
I think the problem with other characters is that they can’t maintain it. They’re only training now because they have to, once the war is over they’ll probably go back to being lazy and useless. The idea of this story is great but can it be maintained after the war is over is the question
@@quintbakerjr2786to be fair that’s exactly what happens in the actual manga and anime but even worse. Every character other than Goku and Vegeta become useless until more than 2 characters are needed and then they get strong again, fight, then become useless all over again

Trust me I know, and I don’t have a problem with that. Goku is the only reason I watch or read the anime or manga anyway, my solution to characters like krillin or Goten and trunks and the other useless characters is to get there own manga, let’s see how many people are actually interested in them. Have someone write great stories about them, like they do for Naruto’s characters, and we can hope it’s better than the trash super is putting out.
If your power isn't needed during times of peace, then it's actually more useless to have all that godly strength most of the time with the exception of spaced-out world ending events. Krillin barely uses his "power" as an officer. Videl cud take out most criminals in the db verse.
I'd just like the hybrids to train at least moderately since they have other things they enjoy doing. It'll make the power-jumps feel less plot-induced.
Goku n Vegeta don't hav fulltime jobs so of course they're gonna spend most of their time training.
God this fan manga is by far better than anything the actual manga would've pulled up. No Goku, focus on every other character, interesting story. Absolutely perfect.

In my opinion, if they reduced their muscle definition a bit, I would like it more. Not being used to having such insane muscles on kids(teens perhaps) makes me feel weird, not complaining though.
The idea of a Saiyan/Tuffle hybrid is one of the coolest things this series has added. Can't wait to see what Pepino can do.

This is the best fan manga in overall quality, in my opinion. Storyline, artstyle and pacing are unmatched. Scope might be wider but ALL the storylines are super interesting
Dragon Ball Kakumei just exceeds expectations at this point. Goten and Trunks got SSG but they're still not freaking ready yet that's amazing. Building up characters more and more as they find their own source of power before this war. And I cannot wait to see Goten and Trunks in SSJ Blue. This is gonna be amazing

Basically goku is goku and he’s curious to see if he can handle the top five warriors in the multiverse while simultaneously Freiza is in the shadows getting stronger

This is literally giving fans what they've been dreaming of, a story where it isn't centered around goku, but build up the lore and stakes of the story to new and powerful hights, while giving meaningful character developments and goals that the creators have taken into loving care.

I have been debating this for a while, but this just all confirms it even more. This is the best Dragon Ball adaptation EVER. I would even go past it and say its just the best Dragon ball thing I have ever read. I love DBZ and Akira Toriyama for the work they do, but this is just blowing it out of the park.
