I think Melvins is an awesome band. I think Nirvana is a. . .nice band. The Melvins Vary a lot from album to album. And they're always awesome. Nirvana was ok, the first album was pretty good but the others didn't kind of live up to that album. Except Incesticide perhaps. My point is, they're both good bands. One is the father of a mainstream band who didn't give much credit to their tutor and the other is the Godfather of Grunge. Long Live The Melvins!
ever heard of sarcasm? It strange that someone who says that Melvins are his favorite band doesn't know that they are joking and being sarcastic in every of theirs interviews.
Godfather of Grunge? I mean that was Jack Endino from Skin Yard? what ever, Melvins are the best. For me personal is Melvins not grunge, they have another kind of music, but it's a influence of grunge. Understood? ;-)
@dinosaurjr420 ya im not going to disagree with that, Buzz helped those decisions though hah. Theirs just baggin on Kurt cause they dont want to be affiliated with NIRVANA, or any bandwagoneer's. Melvins are my favorite band, Buzz is my favorite musician... he could show some kindness though' to his childhood friend.

every time i hear kids proclaiming nirvana as the best ever, not even the melvins are better... it just makes me... laugh! and when u tell them the truth, they act like their mom just told them they can't go to the arcade or watch their favourite cartoon tonight 'cz they have to do their homework. hahaahahahhaa!!!!
