  • Learn how solution-adaptive mesh enables dynamic mesh refinement in SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation. This method can be used for various applications and is great for lift and drag problems and wind loadings, but can also be used for internal flows and even thermal problems. It's recommended to have a good understanding of the meshing in SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation before watching this tutorial, so we recommend getting up to speed with the Meshing Guide video here first: • Meshing guide for SOLI...
The solution-adaptive mesh places additional cells (up to a user-specified maximum) in areas of high pressure gradients in the solution. The user specifies a number of refinements and when they should occur, driven either by iterations, travels, physical time, or goals convergence. A properly configured solution-adaptive mesh can be a great "set and forget" approach to mesh optimization, compared to manually placing local mesh refinements.

to simulate air flow on flapping wing, how it could be? is it using adaptive meshing? maybe you have the tutorial for flapping wing case or undulating fish case?
