I can relate to this so bad you can't even understand. I don't know why I do these circles but i do them for minutes. Thinking about team composition, which friend to catch next, where the hell is Deathgaze and so on
no matter what version of this music, Searching for Friends will be ALWAYS my favourite music most and the best music in the game . ONLY my opinion of course, please don't misunderstand.
I'm deaf in one side, and I normally play with headphones. so I was surprised when I played without headphones one and it sounded completely different. Play this vid with only one headphone in to see what I mean.
@MementoMoriMoon I absolutely can notice it, and the difference is not small. The samples are very low-quality. And it's not as if they simply downsampled the SNES instruments; these are just new, lower-quality samples. They even changed some of the notes in some songs (not this one... listen to "The Fierce Battle", for instance...)
It has inferior sound hardware, because IT DOESN'T HAVE ANY. unlike the snes which had a seperate high quality soundchip and bigger cartridge sizes, gba music is handled through the cpu which means that you'd have to sacrifice hardware power for higher music quality, and that samples weren't able to be that good because they had to be small in size. Something the gba also does is make even high quality samples sound bad. That doesn't mean that gba games have bad music, there are loads of awesome gba osts out there, but they could sound better on other hardware. Don't be offended by someone stating facts
Aka the "Making-circles-in-the-sky-because-the-music-is-too-good" song.
Or you want fight Death gaze

Yes
And Then Deathgaze kills you
Dude exavtly
The SNES had a better sound chip than the GBA. However, both systems are great. And to play FF6 on the go is wonderful.
This is actually one of the songs that doesn't sound too bad on the GBA, compared to the SNES.
Disagreed.
@@BoydTheMilkmanX why?
Do you mean compared as in "much like the SNES when comparing the two"?

I do like the flanging percussion panning left and right.
這神級bgm,讓小學生的我當年在玩具店門口呆住好久😂
This is the best version of that awesome theme.
(Which is basically Ike's if you ask me. :p )
And then the pixel remastered version happened

*Time to defeat a God-Clown in order to save the world*
God, I love this song!
@andrictheman The songs from the GBA version and the SNES version hardly have any difference..
You can't even notice it the first time around..
@MementoMoriMoon I absolutely can notice it, and the difference is not small.

yay! Finally i found this!
I actually like this track -3-
Listen to that drumbeat compared to the snes.
Why do people hate this version's music?
Because on the real hardware and on every version except for these hq ones it sounds horrible
@@rudolfix7772 And honestly even with this HQ sample it doesn't sound great at all compared to the original.
the drums were in the original, they were just lower.
you know i didnt find terra til after i beat the game? i know i know
Pls make the "Awakening" song on High Quality of Final Fantasy 6
LasagnaCat brought me here.

@LucasHorclox

Has more of a like, echo or something...? Idk
It's... slower?
golden sun ass
I'm sorry I used to be stupid...
Yes, the GBA audio hardware is far inferior to the SNES. EVERYONE KNOWS THIS.
No.
It.
Is.
NOT.

Yet this version is somehow better

@@seovania9601 Yes.
It.

Whoever was in charge of the soundtrack for the GBA version needs to be flogged.
gba does not sound good.
Wow. The difference is quite large. It's almost like they ported FF6 to the Sega Genesis here.
