Vegeta has really developed as a character throughout DBS. We see his "family man" side and see his jealousy for Goku's strength being not as intense as in DBZ. It's a side of Vegeta that we've never seen before, showing how much Vegeta has changed through the series. I think Vegeta is an awesome character in DBS, and really hope he gets more time to shine in future arcs.
It was fantastic to get another episode where everyone was drawn on point and actually looked liked themselves. It was great to finally see someone that understands how Goku looks. It made the episode 10x better.
Long time listener first time commenter: been a fan of the show for 18 years now. I do a lot of paint artwork mainly of DBZ. Anyways, really enjoy hearing you guys reviews after I watch a new episode. But as a long time dragonball fan I too am extremely enjoying where they were headed. The first few episodes concerned me with re-telling of the two movies and the bad animation. But so far the new stuff is giving me the same nostalgic feel I got the first time watching it. Anyways, keep up the reviews and I'll be listening.
Such an amazing chapter, pretty good animation, I really loved the detail with the Kamehameha turning into the spaceship's trail. And the water thingie looked pretty cool, too. And it was such a pleasant surprise to see Vegeta getting into the action and a dangerous enemy coming out of nowhere.
So far I think episode 42 was the best of the in-between-arc, I love how Beerus was enjoying himself while being restricted due to the fragility of the Monaka costume
I feel like Vegeta in Super is even more awesome than he was before, while Goku seems dumber... (somehow Goku seemed way more mature in the Cell sage for example)

Super has done the best stuff for Vegeta's character he's really gone up on my favorites list now. Also anyone notice that the animation has gotten better the past couple of episodes I mean its not great but its at least up to the standard of a weekly shonen anime finally.

I'm not going to surprised if the future villain is some form of clone who absorbs and duplicates powers the same way that buu did. I hope that they don't go down this route.

The Saiyan Saga depicted Vegeta as a ruthless and brutal warrior who never gave up, despite of fetting whooped by a spirit bomb and Goku's beam struggle(Kamehameha vs Galick Gun), he was able to face Great Ape Gohan, it really revealed the great amount of endurance the saiyan prince has. the namek saga potrayed Vegeta as the smartest and best tactician to exist, the way he tinkered around and freaking snuck past with the dragon balls under frieza's nose was just great. In the Cell Saga, the saga did a great job potraying Vegeta's pride and his self-confidence in his abilities which many people refer to as arrogance, but it is not. becoming a super saiyan was just a small acheivement, Vegeta was the founder of a new form namely Ascended Super Saiyan Vegeta has gone through many changes, the biggest of them is in the buu arc where Vegeta is potrayed as caring for his family and friends(Kakarot included) when he sacrifices himself despite knowing that he might not get his body back after death.
I had higher hopes for this one honestly. Felt a little slow and lackluster. I usually enjoy these inbetween episodes (like last week for example) and I love Goten and Trunks but I just wasn't feeling it.
I'm loving these slice of life episodes! :D :) Jaco would have an awesome spin off series! :D if anything hopefully it's like a galactic version of Rush hour xD

why didn't trunks and goten just break out of the truck before it took off into space? they have super strength after all! also, why were they tied up when they could have easily broken free, rescued Monaka and the other dude and escaped?
I don't think it's considered completely filler just because of the comment you made about the water. The water is feel is going to be a major plot point probably for Gohan.

It rather would appear like it gives the one who drinks it the power to copy living beings. But for all we know, Grylls might not even have drunk it. The container the water was in appeared to show an eye of some sort when Grylls opened it. Maybe Grylls is laying inside the stone structure, weakened, just like Vegeta and the water simply copied him, having a life of its own. It is also fairly known that portions of the community hate the fact that Goten and Trunks haven't grown a bit since the Buu-saga. It could be as easy as Toriyama not bothering with new designs. But if he planned to use Gotenks again (and now we know Gotenks will appear in episode 45) he could have struggled with the design. Or he was just being lazy and didn't feel the need to design teen Trunks, teen Goten and teen Gotenks. Thoughts?
This episode is clearly not a "slice of life episode" or filler, this is an actual saga. If any of you have noticed, when the episode title card is shown it shows a different character in shadow. If any of you remember that during episodes 1-14 the title card had Beerus in shadow, episodes 15-27 had Freeza in shadow, episodes 28-40 had Beerus and Champa in shadow. This new arc has Monaka in shadow, this is clearly an actual arc in dragon ball super, no filler.
I cant wait for goku vs evil goku, it will be exiting to see goku fight his evil self , of course after evil goku beats everyone else because we found out last ark that goku is 10x stronger than everyone else, have fun. I know I will with the amazing writing. and there's a bonus since goku is protagonist im sure we will be bombarded with promotionals featuring goku vs evil goku and of course what would a new ark be without a new form ssjw white, because we cant have a goku black without a goku white, then goku defeats goku black and we all hold hands lol...

But to the review Great episode i'm loving the fillers yes galactic Patrol spin of movie Will be awesome like having gohan and trunks ,goten maybe Krillon help take down a bad guy just cause he was a little to much for the galactic patrol would be nice and I puck that team out the Z fighters just to give the others some shine just cause they are well liked characters and they was just on hand then for the mission would be nice. But over all episode 44 was good more action is always better but they always find away to give you enough so you can't wait for more episode 45 can't wait #OBOY ✌🏾️
Im an absolute huge fan of vegeta ive loved watching him grow as a character and over the years i wanted him to get his due , but it seems goku always saves the day now grant it he did kick the shit out caba , frost , mageta .. But in the end goku got the spot light so here we are again and it looks like goku shows up to save the day again in next weeks episode , on the lighter im psyched to see gotenks again , i like the filler episodes it shows character development and humor ..

I LOOOOOVEEEEEE DBS VEGETA !!!! I love iteven more than in DBZ , great character development and in Z I loved vegeta bad ass moments but I always wanted to see more vegeta-bulma moments they were so few.

Im an absolute huge fan of vegeta ive loved watching him grow as a character and over the years i wanted him to get his due , but it seems goku always saves the day now grant it he did kick the shit out caba , frost , mageta .. But in the end goku got the spot light so here we are again and it looks like goku shows up to save the day again in next weeks episode , on the lighter im psyched to see gotenks again , i like the filler episodes it shows character development and humor ..
