I have loved this band since I was 12. I’m 25 now and they’re still my favorite band. Amy, your voice and your music has given me a place to go when I had nowhere. Thank you for sharing your unique and unduplicated art.
When I was a teenager and would go into crippling anxiety attacks that would take my breath and put me on the floor, I would sing this song and it would give me something to latch onto and bring me back down and level me out. The entire Fallen album helped me through my mental health struggles and still helps me to this day. There is something captured in the depths of this music that is so healing to those who feel beyond measure and are crushed under the weight of it all. When nobody else could understand, these songs captured it exactly.
This dropped the year my best friend died when I was 12. I'll be 35 in 2 months. This is still the album I run to. Specifically tourniquet into imaginary. Kept me alive many a night

In my field of paper flowers ~ I'm honestly so happy thanks my dad showing me evanescence since I was 4 lol, this is one of the best songs on the fallen album and it's too underrated, this song has amazing memories and I actually used it as a prompt to write a short story lol (maybe I'll put it in the replies if ppl wanna read it? im probably too chicken tho lol) I also wanna add that Amy's outfit is perfection (ik it's random but im in love lol)
