    very helpful video.
One question. How to get the equilibrium solubility of a solute in a new solvent? Can we use Aspen Plus to generate the data?

Thank you for this video. It really helpful.
I have a question, does this also applicable to multicomponent process? For example, if we want to extract CO2 and H2S in air, does we need to use the combination combination equilibrium solubility data or just assume and use the dominant one?
    Thanks in advance :)

Hello Thanks a lot for all this helpful Videos.
If I want to know the mole Ratio Y for a System with Water, MEA and CO2 and I know the Partialpressure of the CO2 how can I calculate Y?
    Thanks for your help:)

Mole ratio is the ratio of the number of moles of the species to be absorbed to the number of moles of the pure solvent. So, it can be calculated as the partial pressure of CO2 to the partial pressure of MEA (solvent). It is not going to be very accurate since the system is non-ideal, however it will be good enough if the partial pressure of CO2 is low.
