I commend you for an attempt. But if I may make a suggestion, as someone who has ridden that section many times at full speed. Water Fall is that wide rocky section, you walked with your bike. Walk the "Water fall" section first, top to bottom, bottom to top. Standing at the bottom looking up, you can more easily see the "line" for Water Fall, which I may add is right down the middle. In your video at 5:15 you are pointed right down the middle, that is the proper line. At 6:30 that shrub on your right? You want to be just on it's right side of it, that's the middle. At 7:00 your standing on the "Line", looking down the "line" as you cross over to the other side which has another channel full of debris. The "Line" is clear of debris and actually gives you traction. The channels are full of debris and have no traction. It's easier to go straight, than try and maneuver side to side down that feature. Watching someone clear it properly can help you visualize the route, down the middle..

I’d blame the e-bike. It’ll slow your learning curve

Maybe I’ll try it with an analog on the next one! Thanks

Yes & no, it depends on many variables. The analog bike offers light weight (obviously) for easier learning of bike techniques, such as speed control and maneuverability for general riding. A rider should learn proper riding techniques before attempting more advanced features on an E-bike. With that said, the E-bikes weight offers traction and stability in the right hands. That weight plants the bike in technical situations, such as the Water Fall on the mile. It can also adversely effect you if your not already a competent rider. The weight can work against you (pushing you ) if you don't know how to use it. There is no substitute for developing good techniques no matter the bike type. My Norco Range e-bike is far more stable than my analog Enduro, because of it's weight.
