2005 ion quad door 5 speed. No crank, no start, no gauges. Turning to start only thing that happens is the bottom corner relay on the interior fuse block clicks. Scanner lights up but says link error. Good battery, good starter, good clutch switch, have tried 3 new ignition switches. Security is also good. Looking for ideas, nice video. 👍🏁
I have a 04 Saturn Vue and did a transmission swap from the cvt to a 5 speed manual , I need any information on the bcm to reprogram to a manual transmission. I did not get the bcm from the salvage yard that the 5 speed manual transmission was used . I got the Vue running and driving but it has no power and service engine light is on and odometer is gaining mileage when key is on . Do I need to get bcm from a manual transmission Vue on can my Vue be reprogramed for the standard transmission . Do I have to take bcm and or complete vehicle to dealer or can someone with a gm tech scanner do it ? Any help greatly appreciated.
Have you ever heard of a 2004 Saturn Vue that requires the Turn Signal lever to be pushed down (Like left turn signal) before it will start with the key? We just bought one used ... and I was just told to do that. It won't start without doing that. I'm thinking security feature? But how to disable that requirement. Turn signals work fine. All 4 bulbs flash as they should.
I had 2004 saturn vue 3.5L it crank alright but won't start, when we put machine on it, it's said we should change BCM, we have change it but still won't start, can u pls help up
Hi Matt, I have a 03 6cyl that shorts out when I turn the key to start and the entire system shuts down. I disconnected the battery and tried again with same results. I'm going to dig deeper today to try and find the short, but if you have encountered this problem or have suggestions I would greatly appreciate any hints to get it running again. Also congratulations on setting up your own shop!!!
I have this same problem with my 07, it doesn’t do it everytime. I’ve replaced ignition, key cylinder, starter, battery, ignition relay and still have the issue.
Yo tengo el mismo problema con mi saturn vue solo ke pierde fuerza y se apaga acada rato y en veses tardar alrededor de 20 min en prender la falla ke mensionas es practicamente lo que ase la mia espero puedas ayudarme
yo i have an 05 vue v6, and i started to follow along with the video but found out that the one you were working had power. mine is dead at this point (with a new battery and alternator). is this video series applicable to my situation? i really want to get this car running because im almost positive it has more to give at 180k miles. any bit of advice would be appreciated
@@aprilleatherwood8022 Try your crank shaft position sensor...your Vue has the 2.4 engine and is totally different/has different issues than these earlier Vues had...

good luck on the new shop, will you have a hoist?
Yes a hoist will be one of my first capital investments. I have learned that a hoist should be making at least 1,000 dollars a day.
