MONT BLANC Chamonix Aiguille du midi BITTERSWEET GOODBYE FRENCH ALPS solo motorcycle trip (S3-EP13)

- The first stretch of my two month trip is over and it's a bittersweet goodbye. Incredibly thankful for all the moments and gained experience off the road, but also sad that it's already done. After some moody days on the campsite I was finally able to go up and get close to the Mont Blanc via Aiguille du Midi, Europe's highest cable car. And I can tell you, spending almost 6 hours on 3800+ meters high got my emotions running. What an end to this incredible adventure and I hope you tune in for the next: SWITZERLAND!
A two month trip to remember for ever - August 19th 'till October 15th. Three years ago I rode the France Alps with my Monster821 and now I'm back (for more)!

Well I don't know what to say, that's been absolutely amazing leonoor ,can't wait for the next adventure, stay safe.
Just simply WOW!!
That has to be one of the best vlogs I’ve seen.
Yes we watch for your motorcycle trips etc but this one is epic!
I think we all get your raw emotions at the end. Nature has a way of touching our soul and I feel that was evident there.
Congratulations on a truly amazing episode. 😊👌🏻👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it and that you stuck around for the non-bike adventure too haha. It was really an ending on a high!
Le Pic du Midi, le Mont Blanc, quelles belles images .. Merci Leonoor pour ce nouvel épisode trés réussi et votre émotion contagieuse, vivement la suite ! 👍✌
Thank you for taking me on this truly beautiful journey.
Prachtig... 👍
Today I finally made it to Aiguille de Midi & it was incredible... starting in light fall of snow, 30 minutes later the clouds went away and I had amazing views from the several terraces... what a wonderful place!! 🙏
Oh it makes me so happy to hear you had an incredible time there ☺️ it’s beautiful isn’t it
Thank you for this series! Really inspiring to follow you on your ways. Looking forward to more videos 🤩
You are amazing and so dedicated to what you are doing🤩
I've decided to leave and watch all episodes from your Alps tour back to back and i have to say is like a Netflix series, so addictive.
Looking forward to your next trip 😎
Well done Leonoor 🙌 fantastic footage and filming it’s so inspiring to follow you thanks to you we all can be a part of this and see all this beautiful places 🙏🤗
Thank you so much!
Hello Leonoor.
It has been such a pleasure following through the Frenchs Alps. Specially this episode with some really breathtaking views.
My wife and I a'm going in your footsteps this summer. At least in the French Alps 🙂We want to see it too...
Kind Regards Anne-Marie and Niels
Have lots of fun making preparations for the trip, I'm sure you'll enjoy it
I was already there, I went up by feet with rope, crampons and ice-axe. That's also amazing. If you ever come to courmayeur (the other side of the mont blanc tunnel), please go up to the Torino hut, that the other side of the mont Blanc and aiguille du midi there is the vallee blanche that's also amazing.
Great tips, will def keep those in mind for next time
Wow Leonoor!! What a great views🤩
You are a true ambassador for the French Alps. You got me excited. I know where I my late summer solotrip wil go to👌
Hope you enjoy the pre-fun of planning!
LNR thats gotta be the most scenic vidio ive ever seen , thank you very much
Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful scenery, expertly caught on film
Brilliant series, thank you. Definitely added more places for me to a visit. Really looking forward to the next adventure 🎉
Leonoor. Yet another beautifully crafted video! Superb scenery complimented by wonderful photography, great narration, great editing and presented with a heart felt appreciation for the majesty of the natural World around you. You’re clearly a very talented film maker. These memories will last you a lifetime! I was particularly struck by the outpouring of emotions towards the end! It’s a privelege to join you on your travels and to experience the raw emotions such experiences have on you!
Simply superb viewing!
I’ve seen all the videos but ive never commented before and it’s just natural I do it in the final episode. What a wonderful trip, so many beautiful roads and landscapes. This is “food for your soul 🍝
And journeying solo makes it a lot different,in the last 2/3 years I started a couple of vacations all by myself and my Multistrada1200 and it’s a whole different thing,in many ways you enjoy the riding hours more.
Thank you for sharing your adventure with us, see you around sometime!
Thanks a bunch for the kind words and cool to read you’ve been exploring on the MTS1200 by yourself, can recommend it to anyone!
It was a great video today, I’m here for your travels not just the bikes. Thank you for bringing us with you and looking forward to joining you on your next adventure. Being English and seeing that this is available “next door” has opened my eyes and mind
I feel lost, empty and claustrophobic when I return home from a road trip and with time and reflection the desire to do it again and to go further afield gets stronger. I’ve never had anything else in my life which stirs so much emotion.
One of the best videos you've done , that's the only way I would get to see something like that , heights scare the 💩 out of me can't wait for the New adventure to begin thanks for taking all of us on your journey x
Thanks a lot, I can't say I'm a big fan of heights either, but this was pretty manageble haha
Its an amazing place Leo. I skied down from there to Chamonix quite a few years ago and it still remains one of the best experiences of my life to this day.
I believe that in a heartbeat
On the top of my bucket list for this summer - very inspiring footage 🫶✌️👍
Go for it!
@@LNRmoto planning for a couple of weeks this coming summer - every weekend.I spend several hours planning. and it looks like Mont Blanc will be my final stop before heading back to the UK :)
Environments like those mountains evoke strong emotions. They are so powerful that the soul wants to stay behind and not come with us. Thank you for lettis us take part of your trip❣️ 👍
I keep saying it; mountains are magic. Thanks for tuning in, glad you liked it
Absolutely fantastic , superb video and fabulous still photography. Beautiful, thanks
Glad you enjoyed it

You are so welcome, we all need a little light sometimes 🙌🏼
Epic episode!
Just wow! You capture the surroundings so well. Well done. Looking forward to the next chapter. 👍
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.....ABSOLUTELY ! .......you even brought a tear to my eye
Fresh air up there! 🏔🏔🏔🏔
Wow what a truly pristine place, and as you felt it such a spiritual place also, really enjoyed seeing it. Thank you.
Your emotions show your genuine passion for what life has to offer us all. Thanks for taking me along this amazing adventure! It blows my mind how us humans can create structures in the remote and rugged terrain also. Like how the hell did they build that?!
My pleasure, that's indeed a question that I asked myself a lot this day haha
Thanks Leonoor👍
Doing a trip like this is beyond me now. But..
Watching LNR-Moto vids is as good as being there(reminded me of Austria in many ways)
Terrific, Well done.
Glad it made some memories come back for you, enjoy the vids!
Wow,wow,wow 👍
I have been following your journey since our brief chat on Col Du Granon. Your photography has given me a new perspective of traveling by motorbike. Decision has been made. The Scottish campervan is being swapped out for my motorbike in September this year, so I can ride the fantastic roads of Switzerland, France and Italy. Thanks for taking us on your journey.
I’m so pleased for you Raymond and I often thought back about our meeting. Hope you’ll make that trip happen, you might want to keep an eye out for the next series as I’ll be visiting more of what you intend to ride 🙌🏼
What a great place but as a sufferer of vertigo I was cringing at times 😃 Thanks for sharing the series has been great
Sorry about that haha
That was brilliant video the last time I was there was 30 years ago brought back memories
I bet it was incredible back then as well!
Prachtige beelden , ga vooral zo door je maakt prachtige videos en je blijft lekker Nederlands nuchter haha . ❤
Last September, I bought my first motorcycle in 25 years, an adventure bike of course. Then, a few weeks later happened to be the time I needed to replace my computer, so upgraded to a panoramic screen with a nice sound system. Shortly after that, I discovered your videos. You've blown me away every time. Thank you for taking me along on your rides Leonoor!
Good stuff and that’s just awesome. Have fun on that bike!
Well your pics of the Alps was so well done, an to think they built all that up on the mountain as a tourist attraction had to be a feat in its self. You do wonderful pics, and am looking forward to your next adventure. I will say you are also doing real well on your bike, the more time riding the better you get. Stay safe, ride safe, Stocky, in Texas.
Absolutely awesome... thank you for taking us along 🙏
Thank you very much for another wonderful episode of your travels. I think you have a wonderful ability to convey your experiences, with words and wonderful pictures! PS, I can't wait for you and Runa(Off she Goes) to work together when you go on tour together. Two of my favorites together!!!😊✌️😊
Thank you very much and we are also very excited to go explore together!
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!
We've been there in 2001 on our first holiday on our motorcycles! Sweet memories! But there is now so much more to do! We have to go back once 😊
Thank you so much for this series - it has lifted me in our depressive winter gloom. Your photography and story telling have made this the best content on You Tube! Wishing you more highs and adventures! Can’t wait to get out on my bike now!
Wow, thank you so much. More coming soon
Wow, thank you thank you thank you…. Yes travel does change you, the connection to the beauty of this earth opens the heart and mind…. Can’t wait for the next episode . brilliant 🤩
Fantastic
That was realy amazing, Leo. Believe me I've got goosebombs and I was overwhelmed, too. Got some little tears like you....😂😊 Thanks, for take me there.
Have to go there. Now I have an upgrade of my camera (Nikon d850), this will be ideal in summer.
And in the next episode, you are in my "backyard".
Looking forward.❤
Amazing Barb to read, thnx for your reply! The D850 was my previous camera, you will love it 😁
@@LNRmoto ❤😊
I saw a couple of motorbikes parked in the street, and your Desert X getting rained on, but do you know what, it really doesn’t matter as these views are just mind blowing. I’ll certainly do my best to do what you say, and one day see it for myself! Fantastic episode Leonoor, what amazing memories you have made! 😁🙏
I’m positive you will set foot here one day Phil, when you do imma need a picture of it! 🙌🏼
Fantastic series thank you for sharing, you have travelled to so many places, so many trails I love and been too and sent good reminders during dull and dreary winter months,
Driven and ridden past Mont Blanc so many times but never been up there, that’s a must now,
Thanks again, safe travels, Gary 👍
Glad you enjoyed it Gary, make sure to go up there once, it will amaze you in every way possible!
I'm going up Monte Blanc this year, can't wait! Love your videos Leonoor absolutely superb and very addictive!
Have fun!
Absolutely breathtaking episode, as someone who doesn't like heights I'd never be able to walk those steps or glass floor. Thank you for taking us along with you. You pictures are incredible 👏👏👏👏 thank you thank you thank you
Oh wow .. I‘m stunned! These are sensational views and moments - thank you, Leonoor, for taking us with you!
Man, the Mont Blanc .. the first time I travelled to France it was standing in full sunshine, I could see it from the Italian Autostrada for a long time. WHAT a view.
But then, every time I went again to France - and I went often - it AL-WAYS was hidden behind the clouds.
wow - thanks for THIS!
Looking forward to your next episodes. Switzerland is more or less home for me, your preview at the end of this episode does trigger!!
CU! And again - Thanks!!
Im positive you will make it there one day in full sunshine! It’s simply breathtaking.
You got me all choked up at 21+ minutes in, but for different reasons. We had one of our best family holidays there last year, and you captured such great memories of that time we had that it all came flowing back to me. Thank you!!
So incredibly nice to hear that, thanks for sharing
Thanks for the amazing report of your trip, will be looking forward to the sequel.
definitely the end of the season that a trip through France deserves.
thank you for the wonderful videos and for revealing to me the travel goal for this summer. Mont Blanc is definitely on my to-do list.
Many greetings to everyone from Croatia.
Greatest place on earth
Was mesmerizing for sure!
Love seeing the passion you have for travelin. ❤
Another fantastic video with stunning photos and unbelievable scenery and its just makes you wonder how they managed to build such a place a the top of a mountain. Thank you very much for taking us on your journey with you and look forward to the next episode in your life with your next travels. 👍
Many thanks, mindblowing to say the least how they're able to build on those heights
4.40 min kippenvel all over, schitterend!!!
Yet another stunner. Well done. And, don't eat the yellow snow.
I double checked ✅
Wow, that was stunning. Thank you so much for sharing it ❤
Thnx, it was amazing! Can't wait to see the next series!
Highlight of my day is when I see you have posted another video and what an epic one to finish off your French adventure, hopefully I won’t be too long for the next one
Thank You
I’ll be doing my best to try and keep up with the vids 🤞🏼
Brilliant as always thank you! I remember visiting the Aiguille du Midi and skiing back down the Vallee Blanche- something I will never forget and your video brought back some great memories.
At least the bike had a wash with that heavy rain 🌧,
Absolutely stunning , what a place 😊,
Should of put the bike gloves on 🥶 ,

your video made me cry with you!, it was beautiful!! We have done this trip and it will never leave our memories. We are also bikers and adventurers and your words resonate so loudly. Ride safe. Love Nick n Pat
Thank you so much, happy to read it made a big impression on you too
Hey Leonoor - after reading comments below, not sure there is anything left to say! Thank you so much for sharing this experience with us, your photographic eye for details as well as the big view is a joy for us to see - loved the stills interspersed through the movie footage. Although this one wasn't a riding-day vlog, I know from experience the commitment it takes to carry photographic kit on a bike tour, plus the time it adds when you stop - respect to you. And yes, I'll go up the A-du-M next time and not ride by!!
Thnx for your kind words, appreciate them! Al though it’s a lot of work, reading these kind of comments really make my day. Hope you’ll make it up there one day
What an adventure it has been Leonoor & thank you for a fantasic journey following you on it, can't wait for the next journey. RIDE SAFE 👍👍
More to come! My adventures aren’t done just yet 😁
Wow, that's so genuine. You're amazing.
What a amazing and Stunning way to finish the French Alps Trip. I Have Enjoyed very minute of it Looking forward to Seeing The Swiss Trip
Superb! What more can one say x
Your trip was fantastic, thank you for taking us with you, that was by far the best report about motorcycling that I have seen on RUclips, great video, great editing, beautiful music and a very authentic woman who shows herself as she does is, respect Leonora. 👏👍🏻
Amazing I am from India
Sensational video Leonoor, the raw emotions that these special places deliver, thanks for sharing your journey, 🙏hope to visit Mont Blanc one day 🗻😎
Man, how I good was sharing your journey! And you ended your trip in an area I know well and love. Look forward to your next journey.
Such an amazing video; you brilliantly captured the amazing views and your reactions to seeing it all. We've been lucky enough to travel to Chamonix on three occasions, and go to the Aiguille du Midi each time, and would happily go back. The scenery and altitude literally takes your breath away. You clearly have a great talent and eye for producing absorbing video content and great photography. Good luck with with taking your career in the direction you want it to go.
A tat jealous of your visits, I’d love to go back one day and I’m sure I will. It’s literally breathtaking in terms of views AND air. Keep an eye out for the next series
This is full of awesome-sauce! As you said, you make memories on trips and encounters like these.
Liked some 9 minutes in when you didn't think you were high enough up in the air, so you stood on your toes to get a better shot...😉 (Yeah, I know wide angle lenses have a tendency to get odd pieces of items in the frame, like feet, railings etc. Still it looked funny.)
Ok 👏🎉👍 Leonor
A lovely video. Thank you for posting it.
You are such an inspiration! You show your true self and that makes your videos better than other MotoVloggers. Can't wait to see your next adventure. Keep it up!
I must put this on my bucketlist. Thank you LNR
Hope you make it there! You're welcome
Ive been to the summit and its so nice to see your take on it. Passion for something is invaluelable.
Couldn't agree more!
About ten years ago, in February, I went up that cable car to ski down the Vallée Blanche, down the Mont Blanc glacier. At the top station the group I was in were roped together and carrying our skis we had to walk across an icy ridge for about 50 metres (shown at 7:23 on the video) before we could put our skis on. On one side was the steep slope to the glacier on the other the huge drop down to Chamonix. To add to the tension we were all given a transponder to put in out pockets, this would allow rescue parties to locate us if we fell into a crevasse. As the guide cheerfully told us, locating us was one thing actually getting anybody out of a crevasse would probably be impossible. It was a brilliant experience, a unique chance to see the mountain from a different position. Our reward for completing the 14km run was to have to carry our skis up over 300 steep steps from the glacier to the station where the funicular railway took us the final part back down to Chamonix. A once in a lifetime thrill.
That indeed sounds like a once in a lifetime experience, I bet you think about that thrill a lot during the last ten years. What a way to feel alive! I’ve seen so many people walking up and down on the ridges there and could only think “respect!”
One word unbelievable Amazing Beautiful
Stunning!
Beautiful video and photo images, thank you for sharing them. I am lucky enough to work 3 times a week in Chamonix and have also skied from the top there twice before down the Valley Blanche. If you ever get the opportunity it’s an amazing experience
You work in a pretty amazing location then! If I would be able to ski I’d go down for sure, but I’ll stick to hiking and riding moto haha
@@LNRmoto Yes, I am definitely very lucky. Originating from London, I remind myself of that everyday I am there! Hiking and biking in the mountains beats skiing anyway😉👍
