Thanks man! the only problem I was having was the folder wouldn't disappear after locking it but it was a simple fix to just put both the Lock Folder thing and the Locker in a folder together!

I have locked the by this method but even after the correct password entered it is not appearing back, how can i get the folder back?

I do appreciate the video. Only problem is if you have "show hidden folders/files" clicked on then it only hides it, not password protect.

but everyone can look at the password by pressing edit bat file is it possible to encrypt?
So it's just hiding the folder, so if you turn on 'Hidden Items', this won't work.. right?

so basicly it deletes it then it reinstalls it, when you add something in it it copies it so that if the system deletes it its still there

hi bro, ive followed all the steps and when i lock the the folderlock the folder created with the doc does not disappear it however just greys out. Want to make it disappear for security reasons please shed some light on this.

Remember after creating .bat file > click on .bat file 2 times , one private folder will automatically appear , put all the files inside it to hide/lock . If it still shows after locking then right click on blank area and click on refresh and see if it gets hiddden or not ?

Edit the .bat file by opening it with Notepad and check and confirm your password whether you type correctly or wrongly

please help i used this awile ago then i had my HDD crash on me i installed a fresh copy of win10 over it and took my files back but there still locked and not giving me permission to access ive tried everything the folderlock.bat is gone aswell hidden files are displayed idk what to do i thought if i put folderlock back in and redo a password mabye it would unlock them but cmd wont even pop up when double clicking idk what to do these are files that are VERY important
just delete the .bat file
create a new .bat file by copy pasting the code and put a new password in the code.
then copy the .bat file to that folder and then run
passsword will be asked and then type the new password
thats all,the hidden folder will unlock
@@UniqueTutorials i did all that its still saying i dont have permissions i copied the .bat folder got everything then i put the file i cant access into the folder the .bat made and locked and unlocked it and still dont have permission :/
You can check folder permissions allow/deny option by selecting the file /folder by right mouse click on it > properties > security .
If you don't see security tab then kindly check this

Double left mouse click on .bat file created using notepad > you will see a new folder generated > now you can put any file inside it
What if I forgot my password how to reset it
Right click your secret folder and click edit and In the file : set/p "pass=>" if NOT %pass%== password goto FAIL, change the password to whatever you want.

It's not really any programming language it's simply some source of tweak codes
