Kiss the girl, she's not behind the door
But you know I think I recognize your face
But I've never seen you before
You gotta roll with it
You gotta take your time
You gotta say what you say
Don't let any fucker get in your way

I know the roads down which your life will drive
I find the key that lets you slip inside
Kiss the girl, she's not behind the door

I was today years old when I discovered this. I have been listening to Blur since 1994.
Ha haXX
@Oliver Fresh GAMING Same singer, that's why. But the music is very different...
Released 25 year's ago today, and that battle began
I love this song with all my heart.
Especially the Prozac part, right? *PROZAC!*
Gotta love that Blur pulled a Bohemian Rhapsody
I really enjoyed the 90s. A good decade for pop music!
I'm happy to see how handsome Damon was, and still is.
1:13 best part no lie "reading balzac knocking back prozac"
This is the best 90's song bar none.
"I'm a professional cynic but my heart's not in it" love the lyrics!
Who else thinks the lyrics "He's got mourning glory, but that's a different story" is a dig at Oasis?
Nobody as it's actually "Life's a different story."
its not life's a different story.
It actually is, listen closely.
this was released the same day as oasis released mornig glory aimed and Liam and not noel
David Wilson I thought this was released as a single the same day as Roll With It? Correct me if I'm wrong
The madness in the video makes me feel good 😊
This always puts me in a really good mood for some reason
if I could have one thing from Damon Albarn, it wouldn't be his voice, it wouldn't be his looks, it would be his ability to go cross-eyed as easily as he does here
the lyrics are brilliant and the tune perfect
FAVOURITE SONG
Reminds me of the battle of the bands. It made headline news on the BBC news bulletins. Truly an amazing time to be alive
1:34 damon is in THE BAFFFFF *murdoc noises*
I love how the "blow blow me out" part is basically hidden in the music before you hear it the first time, I really think it’s metaphoric for how the life with money and success aren’t so glamorous as they seems
Praise Allah
Not heard this in years, class tune from back in the day
Also the tower block is Norland House, Hammersmith.
I remember when this came out. Loved the album then and still love it. Need music like this again.
2:18 Esta parteeee ❤
01:13 knockin' back Prozac! ❤
2021 sat in a hot tub listening to this and many other classics at 19 with family ❤️ nothing beats it.
I love the bridge in this song it’s my fav part and it’s always made me encapsulate my feelings
I cant understand why the whole Blur vs Oasis is still going on 20 years later. In hindsight both bands were amazing and infinitely better than all the shit thats on the radio nowadays.
yup
You are right all this Oasis vs Blur is motherfucking bullshit 😡😡😡😡😡😡
Kaben Yeah but Blur were better, they had a much better range musically and Graham Coxon must be the most underrated guitarist of our generation! I do love Oasis though!
Yeah we were being spoiled and didn't even know it.2 great bands Oasis being the better mind u lol
This man......... he speaks the truth
The queen tribute was great😊2:20
😌
Everyone's in love with Damon but the bassist is so underrated 😍😍😍😍
The cheeseman
Are you kidding? No one who knows blur thinks Alex is underrated. He was the heartthrob to millions of girls, and boys.
Everyone was all over Alex in the 90s I remember being in a pub with them and all the girls were all after Alex me and Damon ended up sitting talking about football
This old 43 yr old clearly remembers this song so well......I feel the same but dam where has those 20+ years gone.....
Damon was soooo dreamy...
