Thanks for watching legends ! Check out the 10 things I HATE about living in Australia here: ruclips.net/video/f7egnHdNM8Y/видео.htmlsi=tGOqwacJEOT5nfaU
I'm only a quick jump over my back fence and I'm on the top end of your beach. Wouldn't live anywhere else, nothing like going to sleep listening to the Pacific lullaby, the surf crashing onto the beach.
Yes the Gong is the best !! So many cool beaches. thanks for watching !
Lives in a coastle region. Warmth from oceanic effect. Also as far from equator as North Africa.
The travel opportunities mentioned are long haul flights. The nearest to him is New Zealand which is similiar to Moscow to London, or Sydney to Perth (WA).
I wouldn't be able to deal with European winters, I need the warmth all year around.
Southern Europe have winters similar to southern NSW. But northern Europe have quite dark and cold winter's, it's not as bad as you think, they sell amazing clothes for it and all the infrastructure is built to stay warm.
As an Australian living in Bavaria for four years I loved experiencing a proper winter. Firstly, you dress properly for it. Then you have housing and buildings designed with underfloor and wall heating that makes you feel cozy. Then there's the seasonal food and drink - mulled wine, Christmas chocolate with cinnamon, warm candied almonds, hearty meat dishes, and more. I lived in a small historical town with a huge castle overlooking picturesque buildings centuries old, and cobbled streets. There was a Christmas market in the town square each night that looked like something out of a fairytale. On New Year's Eve we went up to the castle and drank champagne while fireworks exploded overhead and children toboganned on the slopes below. And sometimes when I was walking along at night, I would just stop and gaze up at the snowflakes drifting down out of the black sky. Magic.
@elrey8876 thanks for watching! Ahh your description of Bavaria has made me miss Europe! I understand what you mean, although I love the warm weather I do have days where I crave getting cosy in a pub with a fire 🤩
Winter in Tasmania is pretty cold, and Melbourne gets pretty chilly. The norther regions dont have winter, they have a wet or dry season. I guess you are either in Sydney or the Gold Coast if you live in walking distance to the beach.
Yes just south of Sydney! In Tassie right now it’s a lot cooler ☺️ thanks for watching
There's good and bad in each country but some are better than others at your age you should be thinking about where you are going to feel happier living the rest of your life if it's back in the UK or somewhere else you will only be the one to know that just have a good time until you settle down
Most or our winters we will get below 8 degrees, and during the coldest months down to 4 degrees in Victoria. So it depends on which State you are living in.
In the ACT and regional ares it gets down to minus 5 in winter.
Omg 😱 I didn’t know that ! Thanks for watching 🤟🏼
In Wollongong here it's rare for the minimum night time winter temperature to get below 10°c. The minimum record was 4°c.
Must be coastal. Anywhere on the Great Divided Range and inland it will get below freezing.
Hi really need help. I want to live in Australia for good but I’m going to do the working holiday visa for a year then hopefully another 2 but after that’s done is it possible to gain permanent residency after it without a trade/skill or family over there???? I really want to move for good and I’m very new to this I don’t really understand everything
Ah the early morning lifestyle. Not sure people realise how early we all get up and get out to do stuff. Maybe that impacts how early things close for some things but it just seems natural to get up and about in the AM before it gets too hot or we have to go to work.
It’s sooo good! Love heading out in the morning and seeing everyone getting their day started ! Thanks for watching 😊
Blue skies everyday? I came back to Sydney a month ago, in early January, and half the time it's been raining or cloudy!
I’m speaking generally! I’m from the Uk and mostly it’s grey everyday 😂
Always a big mistake to generalise about the whole climate and weather of a continent by where you are
Yesss! Totally forgot to mention where I’m from although most of my viewers know I’m based near Sydney 👌 thanks for watching :)
Winter in Canberra...the Capital of Australia....Need to wear a LONG puffer jacket over several layers of clothes.....
In Canberra, last week October, I awoke at 7am to find my car covered in 8 inches of snow on my car. By 8am it was all gone with no sign it had even been there.
I never knew you were a social worker and I never knew you could earn 120 000 dollars p a . . I am glad you love certain things about Australia . I have been living in Australia since 1967 and learned to love the good and accept the bad .
Yes 🙌🏻 social worker back in the UK! I love it here 😊
Are the day light hours similar to the uk?
the day light hours are shorter so in Summer it gets dark at 7/8ish where as in the UK its like 10/11pm/ Winter it gets dark around 5/6 :)
Yes but the difference is blue skies. Nearly every day. Even in winter. The only time its not blue is when its about to rain raining just finished raining. He is talking about Sydney with regard to temperatures and climate. The further south you go the colder it gets including fogs frosts and snow. Cold yes, but again bright blue sunny skies for the most part.
That's one very Australian sounding accent.
No it's not. It's a pommie accent
@@johnlamberti2735 🤣
UK is sinking...enjoy OZ...check out Pittwatet and north Sydney beaches...the wildflower blooms in Western OZ in area larger than the UK...the pristine forests of north Tasmania etc. etc.
Great thanks Peter :) Just went to Tassie it was beautiful!
Gee. I wish I could think of one good thing about England.
Greggs ? 😂
Most Australian's loved living in Australia before youtube started advertising it to the world and we didn't have a housing crisis.
You guys are just spoiled, if you don't like it leave the country
@@OzPozzy278Sure leave our country to accommodate people who don't belong here, I'm sure you'd do the same.
How do you think the other people got there before youtube?
