When I imagined this recipe I assumed it would be super good, but whenI came to make it for the first time in the video, I started to doubt myself. Steak and fried rice - was it actually going to be a good combination...? I don't think I've ever felt so much pressure making a video. There's nothing much worse than ruining a steak! Fingers crossed folks!!!
I'm not a bit surprised it turned out so well... too much of a good thing is definitely a good thing! The steak ended up cooked to perfection as well. Beautifully done Michael! Excellent method!
Thanks Susan! I built it up in my head and then started worrying in case it wasn't as good as I imagined... Fortunately it was even better! Then I wondered if I was being a bit of a steak snob, but then realised that I'm just setting people on the right path 🤣

I used to be one of those heathens that always had well done steak until my partner finally persuaded me that rare was best. After gradually reducing the cooking time, I'm now down to medium rare...and she's now vegan! The irony 🤣 Incidentally, if you have any good vegan Chinese dish recipes, I'd love to hear about them.
Lol! Now that is ironic! Well at least you have been enlightened 😅 I’ll have to consult my mum about more vegan dishes. As it stands my mini veggie spring rolls recipe might fit the bill and my pak choi one is tasty too. You. An get good vegan oyster sauce now which helps 😊
