Fun fact: the scavenger chests cant be seen by enemies, so you dont need to worry about it already being looted
Yeah but they are physically there, you could for example stand on top of an enemy scav chest.

While the enemy can't loot scav chests they do can see them, have gotten some kills putting AT mines and My teammate C4's to kill whoever tries to complete their mission
