I’m at the final stages of getting an established franchise from an absentee owner. It’s been open for nine years and has an established staff. I’m use to getting up early (School Bus Driver) and staying late and never call off work. My plan is to work hard on the B2B side while the staff keeps working on the retail side. My why is building generational wealth for my kids. I first considered franchises after taking an online personality test and it suggested franchising for my personality. Then I started watching your videos.

I do not have any problems following a system. In fact, it is a good thing since I will not have to figure it all by myself. As long as my freedom as an entrepreneur does not get compromised I am ok to follow a proven template that has worked for several other franchisees before me. After reading my above statement, do you think I should own a franchise?

I think it could be a great path for you. The key is to find the right with the right culture, and environment that aligns with your goals.
You will not be able to do whatever you want in a franchise, but I don’t think that’s freedom being compromised. It helps you stay focused.

@@TariqJohnson Yes I agree. If I wanna do whatever I want then I need to open my own business which I do not want to. These are some pretty useful insights. Thanks a lot.

When you were making high 6 figures, what were you doing at the time for that income?

The lawyers said I need to put this in:
THIS IS NOT A FRANCHISE OFFERING. A FRANCHISE OFFERING CAN ONLY BE MADE BY THE FRANCHISOR IN A STATE WHERE THEY ARE REGISTERED, EXCLUDED, EXEMPTED OR OTHERWISE QUALIFIED TO OFFER FRANCHISES IN THAT STATE, AND ONLY IF THEY PROVIDE YOU WITH AN APPROPRIATE FRANCHISE DISCLOSURE DOCUMENT. FOLLOW-UP OR INDIVIDUALIZED RESPONSES TO YOU THAT INVOLVE EITHER EFFECTING OR ATTEMPTING TO EFFECT THE SALE OF A FRANCHISE WILL BE MADE ONLY IF THE FRANCHISOR IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH STATE REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS OR ARE COVERED BY AN APPLICABLE STATE EXCLUSION OR EXEMPTION

Buy the stock of the franchise, that pays a dividend. Buy on the dips.

Most franchises are not public companies.

@TariqJohnson You're right some franchise companies aren't publicly traded. But, Wendy's is a company I'm looking to buy some shares in. It pays a 5% dividend currently and they are using AI along with robotics to increase the efficiency of the business. Also, Wendy's is the 2nd largest Burger franchise business after McDonald's with a growing international presence. A nice stock for some income and potential growth.
