Brenda Sykes. Pam Grier, Judy Pace, Diahann Carroll drop dead gorgeous women and my all time favorites. SPECIAL NOTE @16:19 you have Abbey Lincoln who starred in that role 'For Love Of Ivy'. So if anyone thinks they're seeing two different people...they are.
Rosalind Cash made 'The Omega Man' (along with Charlton Heston) a cult classic, he told the writers and producers that if they wouldn't accept her, he wouldn't be in it either.
Great tribute but I would not have put Whoopi with this group of actress...not because she's not admired or she's not worthy of being honored bc she is worthy. I say this bc all of the other actresses were from the 70's and none were comedic...they were all class acts. Whoopi Goldberg is the "Sister Act" of the women...I love Whoopi💝
Beautiful ladies from that era. ❤
Beautiful Black Queens ✨✨✨✨✨
There's no way that Whoopi Goldberg should have been on this list with them ladies she is not in their league ...

That's when blk entertainers cared about their ppl at least some of them.
It's good we have Black Podcasters to educate the youth on these beautiful talented sisters.
Diahann Carroll was IT!
I think Theresa Graves photo was mixed with Nichelle Nichols
Annazette Chase, Carol Speed, Emily Yancy, Shirley Washington, Jonelle Allen, Sheila Frazier, Vonetta McGee and the late gorgeous Irene Cara.
