We have a 2023 Hyundai Tucson and the radio loses audio every ~6 months. We found by disconnecting the yellow and green cables to the amplifier and plugging them back in solves it. Hyundai won’t replace the amplifier under warranty.

I don’t have a replacement but is there anything I can do for a temporary immediate fix?

Normally if it’s the amp you need to replace it. If you have a Tuscan like this it should be under warranty for a free fix

That may be the screen itself, I would try to reset the radio and see if that fixes it. There is a small pinhole button near the radio face and you can press that to reset the radio

To be fair, nothing was fixed here. You replaced the entire faulty component (amplifier).
It's more just a solution to a problem.

And it's not necessarily the final solution -- my brother had the dealership replace the Bose amp in his '22 Tucson per the TSB, and several months later the sound is no longer working again. There is an inherent problem with the design or in the manufacturing process of the amp, and the worst part is that it's not just the entertainment system sound that's impacted, it's also the safety system audible warnings for the blind spot monitor, etc. This is a serious defect that has been reported by many Tucson owners on the Hyundai Forum site, and for many of them -- like my brother -- the second amp eventually failed just like the original factory-installed unit. There is typically a long wait for a replacement amp due to the part being on backorder, unless you get lucky and locate a dealership who has a replacement unit in stock. A temporary workaround is to either pull the two main wire connections to the amp and leave them unplugged for a minute before reconnecting them, or, pull the 25A fuse for the amp and then reinstall it -- this "resets" the amp and gets sound working again, but it is a band-aid "fix" and not a permanent solution.

@craigcraigster4999 You're awesome. Thank you. I called the dealership today and they "acted" like they never heard of the issue b4. I just wanted to make sure I needed to bring it in. Especially since I thought maybe I'd pushed something unknowingly and it just stopped working. I'm also glad you bought up the point about that the radio sound is not only issue effected. I clicked the SOS and I could see it was called on the screen but there was no sound on my end, therefore the call was ended. I don't know if they could hear me or not, and that's scary. Thanks again
