the hardware for running LMM (not training) is inference engine... inference engine can be ASIC, cheap GPU and CPU.. It does not need powerful GPU... Lot of companies can do it.. Training GPU server can only use TPU (google), GPU (Nvidia and AMD).. NVLink is patented... only nvidia can be used...
