I'm so glad that you suggested Bach for the Cello. I had been playing Pachelbel and went into a depression.

Thank you, Graham, for saving my sanity during the pandemic. You helped me rediscover piano after leaving it for decades. You have helped me overcome injuries from work and time. And you taught me what a quaver was! You are the recognized authority for online piano technique learning.
Because my injuries were in the left hand, I will apply this lesson slowly as you have previously taught.
    Best to you.

Bon chance. I had to rehab my right shoulder too many times, and continue working to treat patients. I now have a video of my exercises and self treatments. The low back exercises take 30 seconds, but should be done every day. But I also include my treatments for the shoulder and arm.

I have liked his emphasis about listening deeply to what the left hand is doing in order to bring out that beautiful sound. Thank you for the inspiration.

Thank you dear Graham. I really need this, having been recently shocked at the incompetence of my left hand!! 😬😳🥺 It's particularly going down the keyboard rapidly, with thumb turns - for example when playing Bach. My arpeggios, wrist circles and stretches are pretty good, but I've definitely neglected my poor left hand on the whole! My fourth finger has a touch of arthritis in it too, which makes it a bit weak and wobbly sometimes. Getting older, lol!! Thank you for your tips here. Time to knuckle down to some practice! I hope you're keeping well... ?! 🤗

Currently preparing Bach’s C minor prelude as a potential for an exam come winter time, and this one handed version is incredible! Will add it to my practice routine. Thanks again Graham

Love a new Sir Graham video! Check out Vyacheslav Gryaznov’s transcription of mahler’s adagio for the left hand - it is gorgeous. See you in 2022 at Finchcocks! 💪🏻 Also what is the piece from the intro?

Hyun Sook Park tells me all the time to practice the left hand twice as much as the right, except in Chopin. For that music, practice the left hand four times as much.

My left seems stronger and I could be imagining the biased. I tune pianos full time for almost 20 years with the right hand on the lever and the focus of intervals tests with the left. Who knows?

I found it difficult to see where your lefthand fingers were on the notes. An overhead view would have been more revealing. It does look like a good exercise to learn though.
