    Thanks for showing off all of these farms and nurseries Paul. Because of them I was able to find Tropical Acres farm and order Mexican Race Avocados fron Alex. It is hard to find them for a reasonable price online. Also Julian has a great selection of tropical and sub tropical trees for shipping.

    Hey paul, i was just wondering if you were gonna do a new video on the hardyzone update with the USDA? I use to be zone 9b now zone 10a in South Texas. What's the new potential for fruit plants and certain varieties?

      I'm thinking of doing a video about it. As long as you don't get a freeze you can try planting some tropical stuff

      Not the best year fro Avocados but I'm going to make a video soon on them. I've done many avocado videos. Was there a variety about avocado you had a question about?

    Oh no, Paul's trees are 20 ft apart. 16 ft seems to be the magic number for the backyard grower

      I'm mostly growing "dwarf" trees @12 ft. - Retired, I can keep up on pruning my fruit trees

    How about a Creme Brulee, Coconut Cream and Diamond Mango Orange - are they big? Trying to cramp as much as I can in my back/side yard

    Does dwarf variety grow slower than regular one?

    • @greatergood3706
      @greatergood3706 Год назад +1

      Yes

    • @TropicalAcresFarms
      @TropicalAcresFarms Год назад +2

      They flush growth less frequently and they also produce shorter branches and less distance between their leaves than more “vigorous” trees as well.

      @@TropicalAcresFarms and how long to wait before it gets to reasonable fruit production? I guess it won't be a good amount of crop in 3y compared to a regular mango tree.

    • @TropicalAcresFarms
      @TropicalAcresFarms Год назад +1

      @@Find-Your-Wellness-With-Menot necessarily, some vigorous types aren’t as precocious as the dwarves, so by the time the vigorous trees begins bearing, some dwarf trees have already had multiple crops. But it really depends on the variety, and yes a larger tree is physically capable of holding more fruit in the long run.
