    For me, "Tim and Fin" were the OGs of traveling Vietnam followed by "Kara and Nate". More recently, "Sammy and Tommy" (technically, their videos were filmed a few years ago, they didn't upload until last year), "2Passports 1Dream", "Flora and Note", and "Adventures of A+K"...all did a great job and I know for a fact all loved it there as "2Passports 1Dream" were on vacation and met up with "Flora and Note" in Phu Quoc when they were filming again on their 2nd Vietnam series (also saw "2Passports 1Dream" again in Brett Conti's video when he was in Hanoi a second time). "Adventures of A+K" chose Vietnam as their first Asian country and said it exceeded their expectations (BTW, if you guys ever want to do the Ha Giang Loop with baby, probably do-able via the open jeep tour). I think Canadians, Americans, Australians love Hanoi because of what you guys described...there are those whom like the hustle and bustle of HCMC, but Hanoi is where the tradition, culture, architecture, history, etc., all intersect so well.

    Hi Ryan and Tor, hope you are enjoying Vietnam. It is my favorite too in SE Asia. Do make it a point to visit the water puppet theater. Quintessential Vietnamese! Also, do travel to Hoi an and stay at square villa. The lady has amazing hospitality, and great food.

    You should have done a street hair cut! I saw a European guy do it and he looked so handsome afterwards. Another (Canadian) vlogger, "Chase and Shelbs" got a hair cut in a Ninh Binh shop and he looked really handsome (he was also amazingly generous with his tip to the barber, which is so nice to see)...but you guys did a great job on the haircut overall. No patches like when my cousin tried to cut my brother's hair. Hahaha!

    Consider doing a food tour in each city that offers it in Vietnam. The food videos tend to bring in the most views, although I like them, I personally prefer seeing other stuff such as the cafe hopping and such. Some of the best Hanoi food tours I've seen are from "This Food Bangz", "Flora and Note", MomDuty, "Sammy and Tommy", etc. Many Westerners are timid and a bit ignorant to where or how to eat Vietnamese food and the tours are informative and educational (if you want adventurous foods to try, they can do that, if you prefer only the good stuff, then let them know). Oh, cafe-wise, check out the cafe "Benny and Meeka" found in one of their last videos in Vietnam. It was awesome!

    Stumbled upon you’re videos and quickly subscribed. Good content! I like to travel the same way y’all do. Curious about traveling Phuket, Vietnam, and babies 😬
    Gonna be going in December when the weather should be much cooler with a 1 and 2 year old. Do those budget airlines in Asia gate check strollers? Is a stroller even worthwhile? Are u having any difficulty finding baby stuff like diapers?

      Aw thanks so much! We would 1000% recommend traveling with a baby, it’s the best! Definitely has its challenges, but ultimately so fun and rewarding

    I cannot believe you guys haven't melted in that record heat. I'm from TX and anything above 85 or 90 degrees is too hot for me. We've had so much humidity this past week that I'm dying. It's probably 10x worse for Canadians as you're not use to all the heat and humidity. Yikes!

    How is the weather up north there? Humidity?

    • @ryanandtor
      @ryanandtor  Год назад

      Humidity is about 85% every day, and the temperatures are between 33-39! So the heat index is between 40-48! 🥵
      We have had a couple of “cooler” days though where it “only” feels like 35

    • @keangwooichoo6138
      @keangwooichoo6138 Год назад

      @Ryan & Tor the earth rotates on its axis, soon europe and north America will be similar but not as humid.

    • @keangwooichoo6138
      @keangwooichoo6138 Год назад

      @Ryan & Tor if I were you, I will stay in the rural areas. Cities hv concretes which absorb and reflect heat, pollution in the air traps heat too.
