Thank you spa guy. I am a 41 year old man and I love all your shows. I used to call them videos and now they are shows. What you're doing is important. Sometimes I wish I were you. Life is good!
I've got five scarves...received in Tahoe and Las Vegas 1973-1976. I've kept them among my own clothing and they are folded exactly as Elvis gave them to me from around his neck, sweat and all. They have no stickers or signatures and are light blue, dark blue and white.
If it wasnt for the things you do about the Elvis world we live in i dont think no one would ever know. I appreciate what you do and it takes time effort and money so many thanks regards Russ
Interesting as always. Friend of mine has an Elvis scarf. His mother attended several shows and got one. The scarf is in a shadow box with some other memorabilia.
Hey Billy. Great interview with Bob!! The Red scarves (plaurel) he mentioned near the end of the video were from Elvis Himselvis at Nassau Coliseum from the Afternoon, and evening shows of 7/19/75. I received one, and my mother got the others. Ready for part 2. Take care, Ed
Chris, I imagine some are haters who never even watch the video and they always show up just to give the thumbs down and the rest as in this video probably bought a fake scarf and didn't want to know..
these kind of very informative videos are very beneficial to everyone...I have wanted to buy a real Elvis scarf but never knew how to tell a original from newer..looking forward to the rest of the video series and more...love ya spa guy!@@SpaGuy
That’s awesome! I love these Elvis artifact videos.. I have the 17ft “Elvis Tonight” Banner from this is Elvis I have 3 scarfs that I finally know how to display.. vernon’s Credit cards and the screen door from graceland and much more.. but I love these videos and hope for more on Elvis artifacts:)
LOVE THE SCARF STORY, SPA GUY. ONCE AGAIN YOU HAVE AWED US WITH ANOTHER GREAT STORY ABOUT THE ONE AND ONLY KING ELVIS. THANKS AGAIN!!!👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
Great information! Thanks for sharing this..I have a purple scarf Elvis gave my Mom, with original pictures of her receiving it from him. It’s a family heirloom...we have it in a shadow box, but over time it’s been getting that violet shading in certain areas.
Ka Z evidently you can’t send pics on RUclips..but I’d be glad to send them by email, unless you or someone else has an idea of how I can post them here.
I wasn’t born until 1981. If I had been however, I would have been a front row groupie. I would have definitely gotten a scarf! I absolutely love Elvis because of my grandma’s influence! She introduced me to his music. I am blind, and I was very young. I was scared at first of his voice. I told her he was coming to get me. She finally got me to check out his music
As always great stuff, #1 EP investigator, given us Elvis fans awesome information about the King of rock and roll, stuff most of us would have never thought about, can't get enough 👈
Great information if you've got a scaf from Elvis bet a lot have faded now because fans didn't know how to look after them. But because of spa guy now you know. ELVIS IS ALWAYS TCB
That is so interesting to hear and what dedication fans will research and to learn about this great human and one of a kind person and entertainer. Never would have realized there would be so much to know about his scarfs. Thanks Billy for giving us these 3 parts of Bob.
Fascinating interview. I still have my blue scarve that I bought at the concession stand at Elvis' concert in New Haven, CT. In 1976. My scarve has Elvis' signature screen printed but doesn't have sincerely printed on it. The corners are squared off. It also has the tiny glue spot but is missing the made in sticker. It probably fell off during the past 42 years. My scarve is still in pristine condition.
Thank you for confirming the writing on the scarf stuff. Elvis gave me two (NO writing etc. ) and one he played tug o war with me briefly. I guess I am paranoid and keep them in a large safe deposit box at my credit union. I would not sell either for any price. I recall at one show talking to a girl who told me she had 14 scarves and was kissed 11 times. We were all so lucky.
You have no idea how glad i am with this video Billy, specially because i bought a scarf last year from a collector who would attend Elvis seasons in Vegas and even though she should be a trustful source i learned she sold me a fake one, she had in the past original ones but she ran out of it and still wanted to make money. Because of this i studied a lot about Elvis scarves and this is a souvenir i became fascinated. I still want to buy an original one. I hope i can obtain an original in a near future. I hope he mentions the ones with H of Hilton in the next parts of this video. Thanks a lot! That was a great job!
I have a book that was owned by Elvis so I was told. 3 "Experts" looked at it and all gave different answers on the signature 🤣. Your expert is better then mine were lol. Good video.
I don't know if you have done one yet, but I would like one on Elvis's boyhood Churches. They had a tremendous influence on him. I think his guitar playing Pastor who taught him the song about old Shep the dog was an especially important influence on his boyhood life, which served to help shape him as an adult.
Billy " Spa Guy", I have a story that is very interesting...about Elvis. My family and I...are members of the "Church of Christ" My brother - in-law's, father...was a preacher (he made a lot of albums, with his sermons on them), and he said, that one night, back in the early 60's, Elvis, came in, sat down on the back row and although he was shocked...he didn't give Elvis's presence away. He said Elvis sit there through the whole sermon, but..got up and left..before the closing song. He was very impressed with the way Elvis was listening to every word. They heard that he would drop in on different denominations, while driving through. The "Church of Christ", is non-denominational. I believe this was in Mississippi, or...Fort Payne, Alabama. Wish I could have seen him. One other little tidbit....my sister's mother-in-law, was Conway Twitty's first cousin and she use to babysit him. My brother-in-law favors Conway and has a great voice, also...guessing it runs in the family. Anyway, just thought you might like hearing about Elvis.
Thanks Spa Guy...Bob was correct with everything he said here.. elvis tour jackets and scarfs,,, you have to do your homework. I have and everything bob said...i know also...best David KEELER
I have watched loads of your videos over the last year or so, and I just want to let you know how much I enjoy them! I have been a fan of Elvis ever since he passed (I was only 8 at the time), preferring his Vegas stuff to the earlier rock and roll stuff. You look at so many fascinating aspects of the Elvis story, stuff I’ve never even thought of ... and for that I thank you ! Thank you for sharing your passion for all things Elvis, and thank you for making it so entertaining ! Best wishes from Scotland. Simon.
I just bought an original concert scarf with ticket stubs and souvenir items. The lady was cleaning out her friend's house after her passing. She almost threw it away but another friend of hers was asking if she found her Elvis scarf.
There is some strange force , that all of us musicians have , Its like a kinship that makes us thirsty for knowledge about such things in the world of music, such as in the life of Elvis. We all have that love of music in our hearts and we sometimes dreamed of making it big like he did , of course we did , why else would we play and pursue music for a life time if we didnt. Elvis did the same thing when he was young, I know he did. That hunger for music, for satisfying family friends, and fans. For us to stand in the shadows and peer into the brightly lite world of such a person is an amazing and a breath taking experience some times. To see the dreams that have come true for him in his life time, seems to bring a measure of success and satisfaction in our own. I remember growing up in Memphis and buying his records just as soon as they came out. It was like I had a bond with him, as Im sure you all did, even though we had never met. What a great influence he made in my own musical life . We cling to every tid bit of knowledge about his life , as it brings enjoyment and satisfaction in our life, just to know more about him. That Dream that Elvis spoke of in a speech once , that came true for him,...... , is alive and well in every one of us as well. Like Elvis was,........... music is a gift from God. I couldn't imagine life without both, can you? So thank YOU Billy The Spa Guy and thank you too Ms. Ashley......for all the things you do behind the scenes , to bring us these videos and for helping us to see the finer details of such an amazing life, of that little boy from Mississippi. :) Herb
My sil had a scarf she got from Elvis she also got a kiss in Vegas. She used the scarf so it’s long since been thrown out. I’d have treasured that thing
I’m sure that the scarf Elvis’ Uncle Vester included in his book was a replica because is so short. But my ticket from August 20, 1977 & half ticket from July, 1976 are of course real because I was there & was planning to again.
Hey spa guy can you do a video on proper handling of full size garments?? I have 3 - 5 items actually worn by elvis but I got them in vacuum sealed bags and stored in a bank safety deposit boxes...I never thought about the gases etc ruining them. I even have a dale earnhardt sr basaball jersey from the team he sponsored. ..again in vacuum sealed bags...thanks for all that you do for us.... God bless you. ...curt P.s. I even have the leather gloves elvis wore while riding rising son...again y ideas on storing them would be appreciated. Obviously I want to keep them as well as possible. ...
You really got my interest with this series of interviews!!! My big question about the scarves revolves around Colonel Parker and the structure of the deal. My understanding is the scarves cost Colonel Parker $1 each, but then one of Elvis' guys would pick up the scarves and the Colonel's guys would mark down a box of X number of scarves and then the Colonel would charge as an expense to the tour (or perhaps directly to Elvis) a charge of $5 each, netting the Colonel a $4 profit per scarf. I am not saying there is anything wrong with this arrangement, but I am wondering if it is true and verifiable because it really grants some insight into the thought process of the Colonel. I try to give the Colonel the benefit of the doubt because I know he accepted the burden from Elvis of being the public bad guy in their relationship and that Elvis loved him, but trying to wrap my mind around this type of deal which would clearly benefit the Colonel more than Elvis despite the rationalization Elvis was previously purchasing the scarves without signature for about $20 each is a tough thing to do.
Thanks, Billy! When and why did Elvis start giving out scarves to his fans at his concert. I know he started with throwing teddy bears out to his fans, but the Colonel nixed that as it became to expensive, but why scarves and the timeframe.
You have no idea how I'm chomping at the bit to call you, Billy.... until ducks are all in a row on this side, I cant! ..... what little i've been allowed or instructed to convey so far, was like pulling teeth!
Great video Billy. Just an FYI the scarves nor any garments should be handled with bare hands. The oils from your fingers will deposit unto the fabric and stain overtime.
The transfer of oils from ones hands will also have a negative effect on documents, pictures and negatives, and even glass. Clean gloves and proper storage go a long way in extending the life of a treasured item.
Not to debate the expert but I thought boxcar used to sell scarves at the concerts with "since rly elvis presley " and occasionally if elvis ran out of scarves he would send someone to get them and give from the stage too...???? Great video looking to the rest of the series. ..God bless you. ...curt
Billy Thanks for this info Very cool. :) Hey brother, I always heard two stories about Elvis' Rings. 1: He was hugging women from the stage and a woman GRABBED his hand and pulled off a very expensive ring. 2: Elvis was said to have THROWN some expensive rings into the audience once. Can you or Ashley "COLUMBO" these stories to see if they are true? Thanks Brother. I am Officially....................... "Tightened Up" now! :)
One of the men who worked for Elvis, said that Elvis handed a lady, out in the audience..a very expensive ring, one night. Can't remember which man told this, though. I watch so many videos about Elvis..on RUclips! The "Spa Guy" is the Best!!
Thats kind of what I was hearing about The Kings Rings... :) ......Oh Yea............RUclips told me I have seen over 30 000 videos hahahahah MOST are about Elvis, me thinks :) That rascal Spa Guy sure puts those others to shame. You know He's gonna fool around and get GOOD at this. :) Herb
elvis newyears show dec 31 '76 watch that show at the end elvis gave a lady a hand than he looked at is hand he looked again turn is hand ,and there was no ring anymore. btw good video billy thanks
There is actually a white scarf on eBay right now that says “Sincerely Elvis Presley” selling as an original scarf with 2 bids of $199.00. So they are out there so be careful when you are looking to purchase.
Elvis was at his best in the fifties and early sixties this when he was Elvis and from 68 to 70 that's when Elvis was at his best early 60s Nashville and when he filmed flaming star wild in the country Kid Galahad those were the times he was at his best Loving You Jailhouse Rock King Creole from 1956 to 1963 that's when Elvis was actually at his best no doubt about that
This was very interesting! My son- in-law' s grandmother has a white one that Elvis gave her. I need to find out what year she got it and if it has his name on it. I think she is in her 70's. Thanks for sharing this information with us, Billy " Spa Guy "!
Mother In law has a red hound dog a fan made and gave to Elvis that he gave to her and a navy blue scarf she had to shove in her pants when she caught it so no one would take it from her
My buddy Frank Dean was at Madison square garden.....his wife caught a scarf.....blue silk. And another woman grabbed it. .then Frank's sister grabbed it. After 20 minutes of tugging.....frank produced a pocketknife and cut it into 3. Skecky Green talks about this incident in a book. "the inner elvis."
Thank you spa guy. I am a 41 year old man and I love all your shows. I used to call them videos and now they are shows. What you're doing is important. Sometimes I wish I were you. Life is good!
Could you imagine having Anything Elvis touched..I'm at awe of all these little things.. awesome video Spa guy..on to pt 2
I have a purported Turquoise Elvis scarf, that was given to me from a friend who got it from her mom supposedly from Col. Parker between 69 and 76
Interesting as always.
Ready for part 2.

great video!- Who in the hell keeps disliking the spa guy videos? I see this one has 9 dislikes! must be some bitter jealous people out there

I love all of SPA Guy videos. Must be haters who cannot like themselves. Ooops, just speaking my mind.

@@SpaGuy Honestly I don't remember their names. I could probably find them again.
Great job Billy, I enjoyed this!
Another gem 💎 ty Mr.Spa Guy 😚
The fan who got an ELVIS scarf can consider himself a privileged. Thank you, Billy. I love your vídeos.
I don't know if you have done one yet, but I would like one on Elvis's boyhood Churches. They had a tremendous influence on him. I think his guitar playing Pastor who taught him the song about old Shep the dog was an especially important influence on his boyhood life, which served to help shape him as an adult.
Great information, once again!!! I love the topics you come up with, Billy! Thank you so much!!

Wow 💖
nice video!
What about a pink one,, with a signature!?
Hi spa guy..like your you tube channel art...like to know what template you used. Thanks
No Template, my Business Partner in the record company is a graphic artist and he did them for me..
Did all his concert scarves have a pre-printed signature?
Only the Concert Purchased scarves to my knowledge..
Billy Thanks for this info Very cool. :)
Hey brother, I always heard two stories about Elvis' Rings.
......Oh Yea............RUclips told me I have seen over 30 000 videos hahahahah MOST are about Elvis, me thinks :)
That rascal Spa Guy sure puts those others to shame.
You know He's gonna fool around and get GOOD at this. :)

There is actually a white scarf on eBay right now that says “Sincerely Elvis Presley” selling as an original scarf with 2 bids of $199.00. So they are out there so be careful when you are looking to purchase.
Elvis was at his best in the fifties and early sixties this when he was Elvis and from 68 to 70 that's when Elvis was at his best early 60s Nashville and when he filmed flaming star wild in the country Kid Galahad those were the times he was at his best Loving You Jailhouse Rock King Creole from 1956 to 1963 that's when Elvis was actually at his best no doubt about that
Is that the Elvis look alike Russ Eubanks?

He really knows his scarves, collecting is fun, I like to collect woman's underwear, but that's a whole other story.

Great Story John..
