Hi I'm new to this channel, also I really like the way you did the primaris lutenient and the ancients helmet it really stands out with all the black it's very good.
I bought this a few months back for £76 the rule book and flotied drone alone seperate come to £70 so all the other stuff was basicaly free,such a great value for any starter.Also with the conquest magazine you can add straight to this box set.
This is absolutely brilliant if you have a couple of people looking to get into the game, the armies you get are useable for decent games straight out of the box. The first set I got was also the third edition one with marines and dark eldar. Looking back that was hilariously badly balanced, the Dark Eldar have no chance at all! How I managed to build a scary DE army from those humble beginnings as a tiny nipper I have no idea, I think the only reason I stayed with DE was because we used splinter weapons as strength 4 for a long time so I didn't get massively squished.
I missed the release date for Dark Imperium but started collecting the Warhammer 40,000 CONQUEST Magazines...not knowing that once I'd collected all 80 issues, I'd be the proud owner of the "Dark Imperium" (minus the box & mars,rulers etc) but these came in random issues...😁👍
For veterans going to warhammer again this is a good set, but for beginners I absolutely recommend Know no fear. It still has a lot of models to paint without being a bit too daunting like this set. It has a nice playmat with 6 different scenarios that teach you different parts of the game, which this set is lacking. That playmat with the scenarios bringing a nice narrative really hyped my gf to play warhammer with me.
i like that they have done a plastic blight drone, but i still prefer the forge world version. of course i am a little biast but that aside i am not a fan of how the plastic one is really tall and has 3 rotors, its still a nice model but definately the one model in that set i might not bother with
Oh, that sounds interesting. That also gives me time to see if the Primaris Marines are what I really want to play. As I have almost finished painting my models for Kill Team, and will hopefully start actually playing in a few days. Thanks!
I just ordered this set and am confused on the "mini codex's" do you still need the full hardcover codex for the death guard? Like are the mini codex's temporary till you get the big hardcover one?
i dont have it personaly but its of my understanding that the "minicodex's" have information and the datasheets of the models you are getting in the box but not the hole deathguard spectrum of units
Plague marines are not bigger in the fluff. That is the new size of all marines, chaos or otherwise. Old size is obsolete. All your old guys? For the bin or the shelf. Sad but true.

Yes they are compatible, I can say from experience, the death guard’s new codex comes out soon but the current one will work for the time until the new one comes out

We were doing a task on collectivism vs individualism and we got given a sheet of paper with pros for both of them. The collectivist part had 7 good points, and the individualist part had 3 really bad ones. Hilarous
all I know is I would kill for the pox walkers, so I suppose its great that all I have to actually do is like comment and subscribe, and sacrifice a goat

'Know No fear' May be better for a complete newbie. Quite a bit cheaper and you still get a lot of models.
Warhammer Fantasy 8th edition start set was probably the best value for money. Awesome models, slim rulebook. Just great.
My local independent retailer sold the box set for 20% off and the rulebooks 15% on release day.
