    "The hotter things get, the more energy is required" my man lol. Love the video. The quality it perfect, and the content is interesting. I'm going to check it out, I use something similar for camping. But the Ryobi integration intrigues me.

      Solar power generation is variable. This method will only charge a very slow rate because you have to use the slowest charger. Any cloud may cut it out. Ideally, you want the inverter directly connected to the battery so there’s a buffer on power.

    This is great and I can’t wait to see what else you make! Not a must change but I would recommend trying to get some sort of key light for your face so you don’t get too lost with the shadows.

    I was interested in getting the 4 port Craftsman inverter since that's what I use but was trying to find a way to charge them if/when we had a power outage. thank you for the idea!

    Hey, so I do have the 1800w 40v inverter. Now I’m trying to figure out how to use solar panels to charge. You would think Ryobi’s solar panel would be plug and play but I don’t think it is?

    Will it work for a small tv off grid? Charging and watching at the same time?

    It's August 5, 2024 and the total price now is 29 percent higher. From $225 to 290. The 290 includes $16 sales tax, assuming the 225 also included sales tax. If i exclude the sales tax from the 290 them it's 20 percent higher. Either way, its MASSIVE inflation.

    How many can you charge at once?

    My ryobi 401 charger draws 72 watts. Near the limit of a 88 watt output devise. the 6 amp hour ryobi 40 v. battery is 240 +/_ watt hours. It would take 3 hours of full sun to charge.. Maybe 4

    Does it have pass thru charging?

    • @randyvavrin7204
      @randyvavrin7204 6 месяцев назад

      It does have pass through charging I use a jackery 300 and a jackery 1000 and both have pass through charging. And you can have up to 200 watts of solar panels feeding them solar power. The Jackery 1000 included an adapter that takes two 100 watt solar panels Into one plug so it can take both panels at once.
