Great video. Remember these Yamaha keyboards with the drawbars really give you a brilliant Hammond Organ. Therefore you can visit all the internet pages that deal with Hammond's and drawbar settings and use them on your Yamaha. Tom sold me my PSR S970 and I love it !

Thank you for the explanation. Everyone uses the presets, but they do not know the basics like me. It is very enriching if you dive into the matter a bit deeper. I'm definitely going to experiment with that more, that's a fact.
The instrument you use has only the phasing settings of the scanner vibrato, so I would suggest, do the same registration on two parts, on the first part with vibrato and on the second with percussion. So you get the chorus sound.
@@KeyboardSkillsPro Great info, I'm newish to drawbars, but so much wiser thanks to your easy to understand layman's explanation. I have owned my brilliant PSR 750 for a decade so I should tried harder lol, all the best, thanks, Richard.
Tom, I find your video very helpful, but on my Lowrey Sensation Special Edition the drawbars do not sound so brilliant as on your keyboard. How is this possible? My drawbars sound much more mellow. Do you have a tip for me?
Hi Willi The drawbars on the Lowrey are nice - on the Sensation SE you can choose with Lowrey tone (red LED) or press the Jazz button under Flute Tab Type - this will create a brighter jazzy sound. The rich sweet Lowrey tone is lovely but will sound more mellow :) Have fun! Tom

@@KeyboardSkillsPro I apologize for not being more clear. What are you using to produce the sounds of the drawbars? In other words, where is the sound being produced? I appreciate your prompt response! Thanks, Matt
Wow, that's a very beautifully preserved one! It is even running quite smoothly and silently! Congratulations on your purchase! Greetings 🙋♂️ Erik
Thank you very much!

What Instrument are you using for this demo ?, is this the Yamaha Tyros ?
Hi Michael
Similar - it’s a PSR S750, kinda like a small tyros 3

Could you tell me what the registration set up for the Tibia 4' is? Thank you.
Hi - simply pull out the 4ft drawbar to get a 4ft pipe tone. Tom
@@KeyboardSkillsPro Thank you for your reply. I appreciate your tutorials.

I wonder how to activate that draw bars on psr series? Is this available on s775 too?
Yes - go to the Organ Flutes button in your voice section. Tom
@@KeyboardSkillsPro and one thing hehe can it emulate something that sounds similar to B3 jazz trio atleast the standard. If you know thanks
@Wild Ramadhan If you check out the pages in the Ballroom style section you can try Organ Swing. Use the One Touch Settings for organ registrations
@@KeyboardSkillsPro all right thanks i'll try
@Wild Ramadhan - there are also a couple of other style:
Organ Ballad
Organ Combo
Perhaps look at your style list on the owners guide.

Why does 16' not sound at its true pitch. It sound an octave above surely?
Probably due to the limitations of the recording and playback.
What program are you using?
Sorry, not sure what you mean? Program? Tom
If you mean the drawbars, these are built into the keyboard. Tom
@@KeyboardSkillsPro I apologize for not being more clear. What are you using to produce the sounds of the drawbars? In other words, where is the sound being produced? I appreciate your prompt response!

Really? Not had this comment from anyone else. The audio on the video is fine.
Perhaps try on a different device?
