Hsuan, it really depends on how you envision yourself carrying the bag. For me personally, I preferred the small size because if I wanted one larger, I definitely wanted their style called the PEARL. The small WAVERLY makes it super convenient to carry just your essentials and feel like you don’t have a big bag attached to your hip.

Does there leather get soft over time?

I think that depends on whether it’s the napa or the saffiano. I personally like the saffanio for its more structured appearance and performance. It’s a little stiffer, but doesn’t show scratches like the napa does. The napa leather definitely softens over time if that’s your preference. And I really love the cactus vegan leather. It’s definitely softer than the saffanio.
