Also, what happened to Poppa's activism at school? Why has Poppa be reduced to just Myesha's boy toy? What's up with the writing for Myesha too? Myesha was portrayed as being an intelligent go-getter, focused on college. What happened to that? This show needs to connect so many dots...so many...why haven't they traced Keisha's phone activities to see who she had been interacting with. A broken phone would not prevent that. Also, ask the bus drivers where they had been dropping Keisha off at. Also, how Kevin and Jake skipping school so much without a single parent knowing, especially Dudda??? The continuity is off on this show...big time!!!
I don't think Keisha ever made it on the bus. It looked to me like she was snatched before the bus actually stopped? Or were we to think she got on and dropped her phone? I think the portrayal of Kevin is distracted because his sister is missing. But at the same time, while he is smart, he didn't want to go to that school, so maybe he's showing some resistance.
Jake is only at that school because Douda pulled some strings. They are portraying Kevin as distracted with personal issues which is understandable. Poppa and Myesha go to a different school, and since they are focusing on Kevin due to his sister being missing it makes sense that the school he attends would be the focus. That may change later in the season; this is only the third episode.
If they added all these details this show would go on for centuries... they are growing up in adolescence it’s more about hormones and romance at that age... Keisha was snatched at the bus stop she didn’t even make it on the bus... chill and let the story develop ....sheeshhh
I think the love interest is alright. She is kind of annoying with that grammar correction too much lol. I wish she was not so overbearing with her constant afro-consciousness and educating 24/7. But I love Kev! I still see him as the boy in Moonlight hahaha.
