Bill Evans and now Tony Winston. Lovely!!!
Love this so much! Thanks so much for sharing this!
Thank you so much for this , it’s one of my favourite standards
Tony, thank you. I adore this piece particularly Hank Jones' on Tiptoe Tapdance
Thanks for your upload! Gene Puerling has a reallllyyy nice harmonization heard in his vocal arr for The Singers Unlimited - which is how I was actually introduced to this tune. Love just about everything bill evans does too!
Sorry, I forgot to say thanks for YOUR valuable breakdown.
thank you so much for providing the lead sheets! this video is so helpful and insightful. keep it up tony
Very nice Mr. Winston. Thanks for sharing!
So helpful
Thanks so much I’ve been wanting to transcribe his solo for so long but I never got to learn the beginning and chords changes!!!!!
WOW !! It's relly interresting about George Shearing's Voicing. Can you explain in next episode ? Thanks Mr.Winston.
It sounds like a Christmas song for me.
Thank you for making this! As someone who knows nothin about piano I learned a lot just learning how to play this
you play ridiculously beautiful this piece in both version. love the way you play the Bill Evans one.
but can someone explain to me why does he do the G7 chord like G+F+A+B instead of G + B + D + F ?(im learning piano)
Nice
don't do nothing else till you know what you're doing!
Nice 👏 I would really appreciate some improvisation tips as well.
Tony can you explain George Shearings moves at 1:50. I cant make the video slow enough.
I always like to prep a dominant 7th with the relative minor 7th, but at 3:58 the melody is G natural and sometimes the F# in the bass just hurts to play so in this tune I go straight to B7#5
Can you do Nardis next please Tony
dear Mr Tony, a fcking master.
Hello, so beautiful. What do you mean by "A minor 9th and D minor 13", etc? I took piano for 10 years, and have not heard these terms. I am really very interested. Thank you so much!
These are Big chords. A minor 9th is an A Minor seventh with a nine added to it . Heres a link. I talk about these chords in most of my videos ruclips.net/video/LkWQDSo26wc/видео.html
