He was wounded for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought us peace was upon Him. And by His wounds we are healed.
I wish I could have been there with Him to comfort. He gave His Life before Us so that we Might be saved. There is no greater Love what God has ❤️. Amen.
How can you comfort a suffering person? Suffering is an absence of comfort and those doing the comforting might actually enjoy that someone else is suffering, and would like to make it worse. As people have done to me. Suffering is horrifying to me while it might not be horrifying to others who see suffering. Also horrifying to me, is not being conscious. It seems some people are not worried about that like I am, maybe because they have privilege and they are happy with life, even though I find many things about life to be horrible, including that it can be ended through insurmountable suffering and by losing consciousness and death.
Jesus offers to us to “pick up your cross and follow me.” We can offer our own sufferings to him “in communion with him” there in the garden, there at the cross. We can bring him comfort in that time of his agony by meditating on his wounds, his suffering. It is a metaphysical mystery. I like to believe that the angel who comforted him said; “billions of your children are praying for you right now Lord.”
But it is all the. more reason to. love him. After all he went through this that we may have eternal life.. remember he chose to go through this to sacrifice. Himself for us. He only wants you to live with love and compassiin for your fellow man and obedience to Our Father in Heaven.

It's easier to give glory to God and/or yourselves when you've been more privileged than someone else. Not that anyone wants to suffer cruelly by sadists and God who perhaps both altogether cause cruel suffering. And no one wants to die. We all want to be happy, loved, and respected.

As a child of Jesus Christ, I thank Him for willingly going to die on the cross to save me of my sins. If He didn't do it, I wouldn't been saved by His grace and love. He is alive now forever because He rose from the dead on the third. Overall, I think this video is a faithful take on what happened in the garden. It is touching, powerful and very emotional. What especially touches me now that I saw it again., is the part where Peter cuts off the highpriest guard's ear, and Jesus heals him,.. then looks over to Peter and says, "should I not drink the cup the Father has given me?" .. the actor who portrays Jesus in this really must have prayed beforehand..
He felt every misdeed, every wicked thought, every slander, every hatred, every abuse any sin of any kind that had ever been or ever will be on that cross! Everytime you get angry, every time you have an impure thought, every time you think or do bad things, every time anyone is killed, depressed, hurt remember he felt it all up there, all of it...so every time we sin I feel as though we're hammering and twisting those nails into his hands, into his feet...

When we choose to sin we distance ourselves from Jesus Christ, so therefore we become less Christian in that moment than we were before. As followers of the Lamb of God, we have to choose to love Jesus Christ, and mankind. If we don't we aren't true Christians, since we can't serve Christ and Satan at the same time.

When i saw this, I felt cried even my souls cried too as Our Lord Jesus suffered also in Gethsemane because after I've been scolded by my parents, i felt some suffering like what he endured in the garden. As the Angel of God comforted him, i know how he loves me so much.

One very important thing did not take place in this scene. When Jesus asked, "Whom seek ye?" Jesus replied, 'I am". They all fell backwards. This happened twice. Why is this important? Because "I am", is the name of the Lord God Creator and Saviour.

Every sin, every sickness, every heartache that all the inhabitants of the world past, during his time, and in the future would experience was given to him. Many have died horrible deaths - man has inflected great pain on his fellow man, but no ever experienced what our Savior experienced in the Garden of Gethsemane. He, in reality, sweat blood from every pore of his body because of the extreme pain, torment, and anguish. He understands us perfectly because he has gone through everything we have gone through. I am so grateful for his incredible sacrifice for us all!!

Freedom from the Law will give you inner peace and produce in you a fountain of spirit that bubbles up and overflows. And once you are wrapped in Peace and truly know you are in the Grace of God, you will naturally want to be guided by the moral commandments and the Law of Love. Grace gives you a spirit nature that will override your carnal/flesh nature once you know that the flesh doesn't matter anymore, its done cut off and thrown away and covered.
I love him so much with all my heart. i am extremely grateful that he suffered for our sins so we can repent and i happy that i have a chance to live with him again. he helps me to become a better and kind person through hard times. i am also excited for easter :)

This is my favorite lesson from the Bible. It teaches us that there is no reason to feel ashamed at feeling afraid because after all, Jesus himself felt great fear. How, with the knowledge of how evil his enemies are, could he not feel fear? But that's the point: he overcame his fear and suffered for us so that we would be saved, and we must live as Christ did in this way.

As a child of Jesus Christ, I thank Him for willingly going to die on the cross to save me of my sins. If He didn't do it, I wouldn't been saved by His grace and love. He is alive now forever because He rose from the dead on the third. Overall, I think this video is a faithful take on what happened in the garden. It is touching, powerful and very emotional. So sad that my Savior had to go through all this and was completely innocent.

We are saved through the Gospel of Salvation which is 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. We are saved by trusting in the blood atonement of Jesus Christ as he died on the cross and took the punishment for our sins which is why he is our saviour!

watched it again just now... wowww! what a beautiful portrayal of our Lord in Gethsemane. What especially touches me now that I saw it again., is the part where Peter cuts off the highpriest guard's ear, and Jesus heals him,.. then looks over to Peter and says, "should I not drink the cup the Father has given me?" .. the actor who portrays Jesus in this really must have prayed beforehand..
He felt every misdeed, every wicked thought, every slander, every hatred, every abuse any sin of any kind that had ever been or ever will be on that cross! Everytime you get angry, every time you have an impure thought, every time you think or do bad things, every time anyone is killed, depressed, hurt remember he felt it all up there, all of it...so every time we sin I feel as though we're hammering and twisting those nails into his hands, into his feet...
Thank you Jesus for accepting me as your kid. I want you to be with me in my life. Every time you are help me. I am so blessed you are with me. Thank you so much. Amen

the fact that Jesus was disappointed of peter after he cut the solders ear was kinda thought provoking, it made me feel does who say that they sin in the name of Christ are not good Christians, it shows does Christians who kill, hate, judge and discriminate in the name of the lord are no different then any other sinners.
I'm completely with you on that one, just to add: Those who don't believe in god, but don't kill, hate, judge or discriminate, may be called unbelievers, but shouldn't be judged for that, as they are no sinners.

yeh that's correct.. the Lord is very serious with us about our "small" sins, because he says there not small at all since you know me.. we have a responsibility to represent him to the world through our lives..
When we choose to sin we distance ourselves from Jesus Christ, so therefore we become less Christian in that moment than we were before.
As followers of the Lamb of God, we have to choose to love Jesus Christ, and mankind. If we don't we aren't true Christians, since we can't serve Christ and Satan at the same time.

The quietness of this scene is so mesmerizing and honestly this is one of the better scenes I've watched in a long time
When i saw this, I felt cried even my souls cried too as Our Lord Jesus suffered also in Gethsemane because after I've been scolded by my parents, i felt some suffering like what he endured in the garden. As the Angel of God comforted him, i know how he loves me so much.

Christ our Lord wrought the infinite Atonement with His perfect love for all, and His complete submission to the Father's will. I am forever grateful to the Savior for my hope in the gift of repentance, redemption and the resurrection of my loved ones and me! Glory to God!
One very important thing did not take place in this scene. When Jesus asked, "Whom seek ye?"
Jesus replied, 'I am". They all fell backwards. This happened twice. Why is this important? Because "I am", is the name of the Lord God Creator and Saviour.

Every sin, every sickness, every heartache that all the inhabitants of the world past, during his time, and in the future would experience was given to him. Many have died horrible deaths - man has inflected great pain on his fellow man, but no ever experienced what our Savior experienced in the Garden of Gethsemane. He, in reality, sweat blood from every pore of his body because of the extreme pain, torment, and anguish. He understands us perfectly because he has gone through everything we have gone through. I am so grateful for his incredible sacrifice for us all!!

Freedom from the Law will give you inner peace and produce in you a fountain of spirit that bubbles up and overflows. And once you are wrapped in Peace and truly know you are in the Grace of God, you will naturally want to be guided by the moral commandments and the Law of Love. Grace gives you a spirit nature that will override your carnal/flesh nature once you know that the flesh doesn't matter anymore, its done cut off and thrown away and covered.

This is my favorite lesson from the Bible. It teaches us that there is no reason to feel ashamed at feeling afraid because after all, Jesus himself felt great fear. How, with the knowledge of how evil his enemies are, could he not feel fear? But that's the point: he overcame his fear and suffered for us so that we would be saved, and we must live as Christ did in this way.

This was a really huge burden for the Lord to carry yet he didnt get angry at his disciples for falling asleep, he understood that their intentions were good.
