LYRICS:
Sometimes love comes like the morning
Hiding inside of the gloom
Sometimes it falls like an evening
Sometimes love falls when you do
Sometimes love grows in the shadows
Where roses, they seldom bloom
Sometimes it withers in sunlight
Sometimes love loves alone
I don’t mind, pass me by
Life rarely gives you a second try
I’ll be here watching from this side
Sometimes love loves alone
Sometimes love comes fast and fleeting
Love can be soft and slow
Sometimes it leaves without warning
Sometimes love waits alone
Sometimes love’s made out of wishes
Or built on the concrete of trust
Sometimes love leans on a wavering lust
Sometimes love stands alone
I don’t mind, pass me by
Life rarely gives you a second try
But I’ll be here watching from this side
Sometimes love loves alone
Sometimes love lasts for a moment
Sometimes it stays a hundred years
Honey, I’ve heard them say it’s never long enough
But sometimes love loves alone
I don’t mind, pass me by
I often dream of when you were mine
If you were wondering, I will be fine
Sometimes love loves alone

I've been listening to Madison Cunningham so much lately that, last night, I had a dream about Madison, Wisconsin.
I'm sure if Angels sings they do it like Madison
I've been in love silently for 4 years without that person knowing. Can't help but feel it but it really hurts
Tell them!
tell them - you'll always wish you had!
You're denying your destiny.
Tell the person. If it works out great.
If it doesn't you can move on.
True love should not hurt.
If it does it should be re-evaluated.
I love that I continue to be one of your first few thousand views. And each one's worthy of a few million more.
Madison, thank you for blessing us with your art. You’ve made my heart swell today and reminded me to love deeper.
A new standard
The sun sets, and then it rises
Bravo Madison. That was some of the best 5 minutes of RUclips I've ever experienced.
A perfect song. I started learning it and the progression made me stop and smile more than once. 10/10
Your voice and songs have become a big part of my life's soundtrack. Especially this beautiful, touching waltz. Thank you to Josh Turner for pointing me to Madison.
How are human beings capable of producing such beauty? Love ya, Madison.
I just saw you and Andrew Bird at Bumbershoot, it was my first time hearing your music and I am blown away. Was this the last song you played of the set? I've been dying to find it as you almost had me crying in public.
And again... your performance is amazing! I love your unique arrangements in your songs. And I love the unique sound of this guitar you’re playing. Sublime! Keep up the great work you’re doing Madison!
You are an artist, a musician and thankfully you are courageously crafting real music with real emotions. Be encouraged to continue creating. It is wonderful stuff.
Madison, I've loved all the versions of this song I've heard of yours, particularly the one with strings. I think you are obsessed with this strange guitar!
Incredibly beautuful.....thank you, sis. Lord bless you, and for the inspiration. You make me want to write again. ⚘️✌️
music sounds like the stained glass looks ❤️
This kills me...for some reason I'm hearing Tom Waits singing bass behind you...gorgeous song...thank-you
🥺🌺🥺
Incredible, what a beautiful song!
How old is that guitar?!?! It almost resembles one of those childhood cowboy ones from the 50s
Beautiful performance as always.. been a fan for years now
amazing as always. love this version as much as the original one. you rock!
STUNNING song!
Oh my god, what a beautifully well-crafted song! And sung so beautifully!!
Was just playing and needed to brush up on this song anyway. Thank you for another version of this great song.
Gorgeous song, beautifully sung.
Such a, such a, such a voice
Hermosa!! increíble como siempre. Saludos desde Argentina ♥
Like 394! Your voice is absolutely stunning and a delightful to listen to
what an intimate recording; your voice and guitar playing are just spectacular, tender and sweet!
Loviu Maddie
Madison this song is such a gift, achingly beautiful.
Wow we love you Madison ❤️ please play live soon!
Thank you for this! Excellent tone and control. Great tune!
Bravissima Madison!!! Classe, sentimento, emozione a go go!!! Suono suggestivo...chapeau!!
Apparently the unique guitar sound is due to a rubber bridge. Old Style Guitars in L.A. is modifying them (both electric and acoustic) and Phoebe Bridges (Punisher), Wilco (Ode to Joy), and Perfume Genius are also playing them. Also on Taylor Swift's Folklore.
Eva Cassidy vibes going on ❤
Of course Madison has her own unique sound, but at times she reminds me of Eva
You are so good. Take my breath away!
oh my god yes i love this song so much
Beautiful song! Found you via Bahamas, glad that I did.

Great stuff Madison - as usual!
Wow, this is so beautiful! 💖
wow
Beautiful - you could make an entire movie around this song.
Beautiful! I'd love to know how you got that guitar tone. It's the same tone that Ryan Lerman uses a lot with Stories, and I know you two have collaborated. It's pure magic.
Hey Madison, where could I get your first album Authenticity? I came across a few tracks on your tube and, like with all your other music, instantly fell in love with it. Thanks 🙏 😊
貴女の歌声とギターの音色が大好き
Yes, first view, first comment! We love you Madison!
what kind of guitar is this...? anyone?
whats the name of the guitar? :)
Sometimes love is some one singing.
Beautiful song but some advice from an old sage: "If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things." Albert Einstein
Wait! What's my wife doing in there? 😘😘
