Nice, I use GS a lot and a frontend to make up for some of the deficiencies of using it in place of databases could be helpful. I would like to see more Softr+GS!
Yeah!!! Game changer for me to be able to have a live update to the data I want displayed! I was not have to have a live data brought in from Airtable, because of the static fields once imported- not live. I would love to see the tags to be able to be colored as in the data brought in from Airtable though...
HI Gareth, great video as always. As a long term GAP watcher I was an early adopter on Stacker thanks to your recommendation. We subsequently switched to Softr because of the need for public access but I've been keeping an eye on Stacker - seems like there have been some major updates recently - would it be possible for you to do another comparison/evaluation? Meanwhile, GS/Softr is great - also looking forward to seeing support for Xano...
Thank you for your video. Do you think Softr could handle taking attendance for a group of people over a period of time? Unlike a school environment where a list of students remains mostly static, I'm thinking about a list of people that will change from day to day with more people being added (or deleted) throughout the week. I'd appreciate any advice you have on how to approach such a task.
Softr is great for building/launching an app to users. If your students are logging in on their own account and marking their attendance, this would help. Although typically, I suspect attendance would be taken by one person, so I'm not sure if you need to build an app for this use case?
Thanks for great videos! A question on another Softr topic perhaps: Is it possible to build an Softr app that edits airtable data in Softr without pressing an "edit" button (not sure what this feature is called). Or what type of software does one need to do that?
Are you building a website with this combination of Softr and Google Sheets? I wasn't expecting to see that. It looks like one can even build a blog with this combination? Am I right?

Gareth, did you ever produce a tutorial/video on using Google Sheets with Linked Relationships within Softr as discussed at 10:50 in this video?

Will do, thanks!
Looking forward to more videos with Softr and google sheets!
Would love to see how one can use google sheets as a relational database aka linked records with softr!

That's absolutely correct!
Thanks for the awesome content!
Is Softr+Google Sheets sufficient for applications that require specific roles and permissions for different users?
Yes it is! It's as robust as their initial integration with Airtable 💪
@@GarethPronovost Great, Thanks for the response!
