I got carded at 50. Then, injuries, stopping the hair dye, and now, people think I'm in my early 40's. My younger brother looks older. It happens. Do you know what it's like when you're gf is 10 years younger than you and you get carded and she doesn't?

He is very atractive and seems like a really nice guy and Mae is very smart, funny and beautiful . I saw this movie and I just can said, WOW, amazing movie and these two without words, their chemistry was so perfect and real.
My fav scene was when Wesley said :" No, i'm gonna get the girl!"
My favourite scene was the conversation they had at the end like they were talking about going out to Dave and Buster's and Mae used that monster voice and said, "Bionca kiss Wesley"
TRASH BIN yes I loved that whole conversation. And as soon as she says that he goes " Ooh monster voice sexy! "

I fail to comprehend how anyone could see Mae Whitman as unattractive. She is beautiful, inside and out, and I'd prefer a smart girl with meat on her bones to a stick. Also, she is NOT fat.
I know, she's gorgeous. I absolutely adore her and I also like that she isn't stick thin, she's just amazing in so many ways.
No, there's not, but the point I was attempting to make is that no one should have to feel like they must live up to unrealistic standards. If you're skinny, then that is fine too.

I merely meant that it's unhealthy, for men or women, to attempt and obtain an unrealistic body image. I have nothing against skinny people, nor do I shame people who are skinny.

That's life.... just cuz u don't like attractive people or dislike old people doesn't mean one or the other is "bad". U must be 11yrs old , right? Or 35yrs but very immature, right???
I hope this movie gives Mae the attention she deserves, she has the talent and the brains. She is also so beautiful without having to go to the extreme lengths that most girls do and she is a better fit for a role model than most young American celebrities.

just saw the movie today and their chemistry was just... insane!!! to the point I hoped they were a real life couple. Their chemistry made the movie and the fact that they are amazing actors. If it wasn't for those things, it would have just been another generic teen movie.

So I saw the movie and read the book all in one day (yes I'm obsessed) and the stories from both book and movie are totally different but I liked both interpretations of the story. I feel like the movie was a little more relatable than the book. One thing I really enjoyed was the fact that the "Duff" at the end didn't get a makeover and changed who she was, she still remained the duff even though that term was meaningless to her by the end. I think this teen movie will be a classic along the line of Mean Girls, it touches subjects like cyber bullying but it is very comedic. This movie has taught me something and I hope it has for everyone else

So many celebrities in Hollywood say they were bullied when they were younger...I don't mean to be skeptical but I am doubtful of whether some of them are saying the truth, or they're just claiming that to come off as more "approachable and normal" to the audience. Yeah, bullying does occur, but personally I haven't experienced it and I don't know anyone except maybe like one person who has gone through it...

I actually have the book. I didn't pick up bullying at all. It's more about two kids that bond over having parents that have issues. But, I guess movies based on books are getting farther and farther from the actual book.
