I actually liked how their relationship progressed and how they can bring out the teenager courting stage/dating vibe in that confession scene and in some other scenes where, like she throws tantrums and get jealous and all that.😅😊
The colour of their clothings are really matching. Beautiful. Couple look. 😊 So glad that Deng Wei worked with Yang Zi. I have seen his cooperation with other actresses in other dramas. With Yang Zi as screen couple, it feels so right and comfortable. 👍 Just wish they can have a happy ending.

I read some comments from avid readers saying some of Jing's impt lines were kind of not emphasized or rather removed that's why many non novel readers don't get his character and importance in the story.

Still, he quickly took care of Xiao Yao when she became unwell at Cang Xuan's wedding. His disappointment when she left with Xiang Liu. I do admire him for rushing to protect her at the grandfather's place and his continual support towards Cang Xuan. As long as Xiao Yao was happy, he was agreeable that Feng Long marries Xiao Yao. He felt that he was no longer good enough for her. You know what I like about Tu Shan Jing? He continued to stay near her side somehow, not really left her on her own. Like silently watching her. This touches my heart. Tu Shan Jing is so much more resilient than I am. He went through a whole lot of events, yet he had a heart of gold. How did he do that? He never complained about the whole lot of people who plotted against him and hurt him. I must say Yang Zi is a good actress. Immortal Samsara is also nice to watch. I am picky about dramas I watch. Not all love chemistries convince me to watch the drama. Yang Zi and Cheng Yi are good too. This time is Yang Zi and Deng Wei. The male actors have chiseled features, handsome and noble. I also like A League of Nobleman.
