You are 100% right, it's terrible to charge anything in $s in Ghana. We have our own currency, so why should anyone charge in $s? The government must put an end to it. It shouldn't applies to anyone whether you are a foreigner or local.
Look like twins, we were discouraged from speaking pidgin when I was growing up because it corrupted proper English grammar back in the day. Pidgin was mostly spoken by uneducated people, but now everyone is trying to speak pidgin. I think the dollar thing is because they need to keep their exchange rate static so that they don’t loose out when the currency fluctuates. It applies to everyone even though the government does not permit. If you take bribe in the airport you can be sacked if caught. The person asking for dollars had no reason to. I am in UK and if I had been asked I would make noise and embarrass the person. If there is going to be a power cut they announce it on the radio. It is usually to service some parts of the country or town.
Twi is not a general language in Ghana ok There are a lot of ethnic groups in Ghana that don't understand and don't speak twi It's just a common language because the Akans that's the tribes that speaks twi are more than the other tribes that's why the language has been common and easy to understand
Noo how many foreigners are in basic schools in ghana, most private and international Schools we pay the fees in dollars, and they are 90% of Ghanaian kids in that schools, only 10% or less than even that are foreigners in those Schools,
and So what, why is it that only Nigerians used to compare Ghana and Nigeria, or you people don't have Nathan to do, we Ghanaians don't have time for this,we need more jobs in our country Ghana 🇬🇭

Nice 👍
The issue of paying in dollars is only some places in Accra and does not represent the entire country.
@Big Fun - It shouldn't happen any where in Ghana. We have our own currency.
Even though, some people may quote prices in dollars, it doesn't mean you got to pay in dollars. You can still pay in cedis and it will be accepted.
Ohhh I didn’t know one could do that, thank you
He was speaking TWI. I heard him saying 'yebesan aba' which means we would come here again.

Some international schools in Ghana 🇬🇭 are paying their school fees in dollars in Accra and Kumasi
That's interesting
After all this, they will say Ghanaians are comparing themselves to Nigeria, How many Ghanaians are in this video?
Twi language is just popular in Ghana but not a national language. There are many languages like Ga, Ewe, Dagati, Krobo etc
Okay cool
But twi is spoken by about 85% of the people in Ghana 🇬🇭
now that is nomore
Some of us Ghanaian men are anxiously waiting to appropriate any beautiful Nigerian Lady.
Lol 😂
Charging in dollars is against the law but the regulators have failed to enforce that rule so people go about breaking that rule
Ohh I see, thing happen shaa
Charging in dollars doesn't make sense but it applies to persons of all kinds not only foreigners. Ghanaians are not exempted.
Okay
My sister the name is Ghana not Gana.
U shouldn't give any dollar to anyone at the airport is against law.
Ohhhh
You should have reported the person who collected your money at airport in Accra
@rolandowususekyere1307 will do that next time I guess

we Ghanaians don't have time for this,we need more jobs in our country Ghana 🇬🇭
