- Since the beginning of his career, Drake’s relationship with women has always been at the forefront of his music. Whether his songs were about going through heartbreak and occasionally depicting himself as sensitive or vulnerable, Drake seemed to genuinely admire women.
But over time, things drastically changed until he morphed into the self-proclaimed Certified Lover Boy. From venting his feelings of loneliness to an ex on Marvin’s Room through to accusations of rampant objectification on the 21 Savage-assisted Her Loss, even Drake’s claim that the only woman he loves is his mom on “God’s Plan” was a drastic departure from when he was actively trying to settle down with the likes of Rihanna.
But where the good guy image was once intact and helped skyrocket his career to the top, that’s long gone now, and replaced with the perception that, as Kendrick said on Euphoria, "Drizzy doesn’t even like women”.

The problem is that despite all the success he got off years invested in building his name and powerful relationships, it was never enough to fill the void of being left out by the culture, by women and especially by his dad.

Imagine if someone like Lil Durk, or Playboy Carti came out saying they’ve been going to therapy and made an album talking about that, they would be shit on by half their fanbase and the internet! Just like with eminem, his music quality dropped tremendously after rehab and therapy. It’s just the thing, that great music comes from a place of mental instability. And I think Drake knows that.
People throw the word "therapy" around like its a magical solution, but therapy means work.
I doubt he wants to do the work. I doubt even further that he either knows, or is ready to admit, that he needs therapy. That's where he would have to start.
As a mental health professional, I will add that biracial children and individuals face more mental health issues than single race children and indibiduals. Much of it has to do with the "Who & What am I?" identity crisis and "where do I fit in, where do I belong.'" Ssense of Familia, belonging, and acceptance are psychological needs. Therefore, any other biopsychsocial & spiritual challenges and crises individuals in general face in life, they are often exacerbated or compounded when faced by children or individuals who are biracial; particularly Black (African descent) and White (Caucasian descent) biracial.

In my mind, Drake is done. Like done done. Kendrick fucked his whole persona so hard, that there is no wy he will come back from this. Especially since his last joints were already being talked about in a cringy and negative way. Drake will still be succesfull, but never to the same degree anymore. He used to be questionable on a musical level first. Now he is being questioned for his music, his personality, his behavior towards women, his behavior towards friends, his behavior towards other rappers.
