Glad I watched this video because I’ve been thinking about agile off-road rip kit, This guy that you have in the video is great. This is the guy I want working on my sprinter and I am 17 minutes 16 seconds into it and I can hear the owner talk about seating the studs and you know what that’s the kind of care and thought that I want going into my sprinter
I only finished the passenger side. The front sway bar was a huge pain. I also bought the Koni front coilovers and they were a pain to install. The strut is really weak and won't go up in to the cab so I can get a nut on it. It doesn't cover any of that in the video. Any tips?
We have 2WD RIP Kits available as well! It features custom RIP leaf springs, front coil over, Fox rear shocks & optional Bilstein/Koni front strut. Everything from the 4x4 kit minus the auxiliary front shocks.
Is it better to disconnect the sway bar on both side while working on the rear leaf springs and shocks, or better to do one side at a time? Also, do I need to get spacers? Or could I leave the wheels alone if I’m using oem rims and road/ highway tires?
In the rear disconnect the sway bar end links on both sides first. Then work one side at a time. Wheels spacers are required for the front coils to clear the tires no matter the wheel/tire combination.
What is actual install time on this RIP kit? Also in the video, u bolt torque is said to be 140ft. lbs but the install sheet says 125 ft. lbs what is it actually supposed to be? Another thing I noticed is the difference between the stock spring and the 4700 agile spring was the spring mounting points a significantly different in length about a 3 1/2" to 4" different which caused me to install the spring pack with a ratchet strap to line up the center pins. Both springs where install with the FRONT stickers to the front. but had to ratchet strap the differential forward about 2" is that normal?

Hey! Im from Brazil. Where are you from? I'd like to convert a 2000/2001 2wd Sprinter to 4wd. But there is not this 4wd version here in Brazil. So I'd like know If you have the parts for this conversion 2wd to 4wd. How can I buy this parts? TKS.
Hello Rodrigo, we're located just outside of San Diego, California. Unfortunately we do not do 4x4 conversions on Sprinter (only Ford E350 vans) because it's a factory option from Mercedes in the US from 2014 and on.
The RIP Coil cannot be combined with any other lift kit. For the best performing suspension option, we'd recommend removing the spacers of your existing kit and installing the RIP coil with upgraded struts. The additional spring force from the coil & damping from the strut will drastically improve the ride and handling of your vehicle.
What about the driver side? It’s totally different. Also you guys mention nothing about the refrigerant line for rear AC equipped vans being in the the way of the rear hole that needs to be drilled through the sheet metal on the passenger side.
The installation process for the current version of the RIP Kit is almost identical between driver & passenger sides. Vehicles equipped with factory rear A/C cannot install the auxiliary shocks as the brackets won't fit with the A/C lines. For those vehicles we typically install the RIP Coil with upgraded struts in lieu of the additional shocks.
@@Agileoffroad I have a 19 144 passenger w rear factory ac. I installed the aux shocks on mine no problem. There is a bend in the lines and the bolts fit fine. You do have to be sure you don't plunge too deep with the drill though.

While installing our RIP Kit may affect the warranty on individual suspension components, it will not void the warranty on anything else. Modifying your vehicle is a consumer protected right (see. Magnuson Moss Warranty Act). Additionally both we offer a 1-year warranty on our parts & workmanship. We have hundreds if not thousands of kits on the road, and we're yet to have a customer mention any issues dealing with MB and warranty related issues regarding our kit.

Well done and very informative. Didn't catch the 'after' measurement tho :-\ Maybe I just missed it?
The "after" measurement didn't make the final cut of the video, but in almost every installation ride height gain is about 2-inches.
Even my wife sat through this with me and grumbled "they didn't measure it after!"

Dang that was a lot of trimming.
Its necessary to clear the auxiliary shock mount.
