Aoe 2 would be so much better if you could only build towers so far away from a town center, or maybe some type of "supply route" building that costed wood and that extended the radius. Tower rushing makes no logical sense.

Still find it funny chukonu actually has a bonus against rams. Does not counter but with the same number the rams die a few times faster to chus than arbalests. (not sure if it's same on HD)

It's the same on HD. Chu Ko Nu are not ultimate counter to Rams, but they are top tier nonetheless.

I believe they get paid a bit if you watch at least half of the ad, a bit more if you watch the whole ad and then a bit more if you click on the ad. At least that's how Hank Green explained it.

I wanna get into AoE2, but I am a bit confused, I have the HD version and the old Age of Conquerors, but it doesn't have any of the expansions (Forgotten and Rajas I guess?). Which version should I get and is played the most? (sort of like "the official" version that players play the most?) And are the expansions stand-alone or do I need to buy all of them? Great games and very entertaining otherwise! :)

I think most pros play on Voobly with AoC (now using the WololoKingdoms mod to include the expansions). Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I just use the steam version with the expansions (where the opponents are a bit easier)
