Your choice of colors on Pandemic is my favorite that I seen stitched. Enjoy Stitchcom. I wish I could attend. I have several friends that are going. My LNS is Keepsakes. I known Barb and Joe for over 20 years. Their the best. Have fun😊
Every time I watch your videos I feel a bunch of starts coming on...which is not a bad thing. Your Pandemic is absolutely gorgeous. I love the colors you chose. So great to spend time with you - always an inspiration! Kathy
You are making such good progress on A Stitcher’s Shelf! It’s so pretty! I like the idea of a 10x10 a day. I started mine (inspired by you) on my first Mania on May 1st last year. I’ve only done 60 x 60 so far...learning a LOT of what not to do. I’m determined, even without pattern keeper, to keep at it! I finally made a grid and now parking threads and it’s getting easier! I love seeing all your progress on all your beautiful projects! I have finished all my months for the Sam Sarah Calendar, and 4 of the days and the extra pictures for most of the months! Really enjoying my progress there with my early morning stitching! My biggest finish is an amazing, difficult mostly full coverage of Yoda for my daughter that turned out stunning! Now I’ll have more time for the Shelf!! Hope you and your family have a very blessed Easter!!
Thank You Susan!! I am so glad you are still moving along on Stitchers Shelf! I have learned so much along the way as well :) I think we all kind of tweak the way we do full coverage to fit what works best for us. Wow, you are flying along on the calendar!!! I loved working on that one, so easy to carry that one around and work on it wherever I was. And your Yoda pieces sounds gorgeous!!
I always enjoy your progress updates. Your pieces are all coming along beautifully! It was funny to hear your method with the Dimensions Gold full coverages; I follow the same process! I love my highlighters even though I have moved my full coverages to Pattern Keeper. Thanks for sharing your lovely work. It is always hard for me to decide which one is my favorite. Andrew is doing a great job as well. 😊
Recent new subscriber to your channel. I also just recently discovered flosstube videos and am loving them. I'm impressed that you work on that many different projects each month, and that you get so much done. I'm just getting back into cross stitch after a several year break and can't seem to remember why I stopped. I love cross stitch and watching the picture grow. Thank you for sharing your projects and processes with us!!!!
Thank You Tami!! Isn't the Flosstube world wonderful!! Stitching is my happy place, so I try and get there as much as possible :) And at this point in my life, I seem to enjoy working on a variety of projects at once :)
Hi, Brenda. Great WIP parade. I loved all your projects (very diverse and interesting) and I look forward to your progress on them this year. THANK you for having introduced us to Andrew in your last video! I reached out to him on a project, and he was able to deliver an end product that was beyond my expectations. You raised some talented, kind and amazing human beings. Thank you for sharing them with us. Best wishes to you and your family in these challenging times.
Love your haul Brenda! And I cannot wait to see your finished Theron piece. It's going to be gorgeous! Also, I'm looking forward to your Maynia plans, so exciting! 🙂
Another great Flosstube Brenda, thank you for taking the time to do your video updates. As always your stitching is exquisite, I love all your projects. Brenda, have I imagined this 🤔 or have I seen you show Mirabilia Sleeping Princess? Happy Stitching.
Thank You Pauline!! Yes, I am working on Sleeping Princess!! I just haven't worked on it for a while :) You will see it again during Maynia, and it will be one of my Tuesday or Thursday pieces for one month, when it comes up on my WIPGo board :)
Omg, you really accomplish plenty in your beautiful stitching. Wow. I am amazed at how much you do. The HAED pieces are huge and very time consuming. You are quite an accomplisher. I have some nice cross stitch patterns, quite a few in fact. I am presently knitting scarves, doing some hand piecing of hexi’s to appliqué to a background for my kitchen furniture piece. Also, doing some Halloween project bags and Halloween quilts. Just ordered some Tula Pink fabrics to make handbags for my daughters for Christmas. Need to work on my cross stitch pieces soon. We stitchers sure do have lots to do all the time.
Thank you Brenda for all the beautiful stitches and information! Always very interested to see the different fabrics right now! Thank you Andrew for the editing and putting up all the necessary details! We'll done! Greeting from Leipzig, Germany. Have a nice next week! (ugh, so many !!! 🙄😂!)
So many beautiful wips. Your stitching is amazing. I love how you take the time to organize all your big projects with the flosses. Very inspiring and really great video.
So nice to see all of your updates today, I really enjoy your channel. Andrew did a great job again with the editing process. Thanks for taking the time to share your needlework. Have a great week and a wonderful Easter. Your wee village is looking so nice as well.
Brenda, you always show such beautiful projects. I get alot of inspiration and helpful tips from your videos. Your son is doing an excellent job of editing. Happy stitching!
Hi my friend! Seems like I do a better job commenting on floss tube when I’m at the River House 😄 I’ve been doing the exact same organization for my Dimensions Kit too. The only thing that still throws me at times is when I move from one copied pattern to another, after I’ve finished that section. It’s so easy for me to get thrown off and lose my place, especially since it’s not a geometrical pattern. I wish they had the dimensions kits on pattern keeper! See you when I get home! 💕💕💕
Great to see your progress Brenda. I've got quite of those Ez bobbins, I might have to 'steal' your idea😁. Will you be back before your birthday? Enjoy your stitching. Take care🤗
Thank You Angela! You go right ahead and steal my idea! Anything to make HAEDs easier to stitch on, lol. Yes, Andrew has me on a schedule of sorts, so I should definitely be back again before my birthday :)
You are never going to believe this. After I watched you I went to look for a new to me flosstuber whom SammyJo had shouted out. Our stitching kingdom. And she had one of your daughter in laws thread minder keep!!! Small world😜
As I was watching I was wondering when people start getting ready for Maynia and then you mentioned it. This will be my first time doing it and trying to figure out what will work best for me as just decided to go visit my mother in law for a week at the beginning of the month. Nice challenge to work around. Super appreciate your videos and Andrew’s editing is awesome!
Thank You Lourdes! I try to kind of start gathering things for Maynia starting in January. But mostly all I do is think about patterns I might want to do. It takes until April for me to get serious about making final decisions about patterns, and then start looking to see what threads and fabrics I need. And then to take the time to get them in bags and organized for stitching is always the latter half of April. I should start on that earlier!!! LOL. I will tell Andrew you said so. And yes, visiting your mother-in-law for the first week of May will be a challenge, but a fun one!!
Love seeing your projects. Pandemic is looking amazing. I managed to snag a few cute cat needle minders. I almost wish I did parking so I could try the bobbins. Can't wait to see what you decide to do for Maynia
Wonderful to see you and I enjoyed the visit,. I am still trying to figure out how to work on more than one piece at a time. I get so into working on a piece and I seem to stay on it until one day I decide no more on this one for now. Andrew is doing a beautiful job on your videos.
Thank You Sarah! I have a friend that likes to stitch the same way, she just stays with one piece until she is tired of it. Stitch whatever way makes you happy !! :) I will pass along your kind words to Andrew :)
You are so amazing so many full coverage projects. I don’t do them but you do inspire me with the project I have to put a few stitch in every few days. I’m working on snow village and trying to do a house a month but all that white gets to me thank you I’m working on it again just moved to the colors. Your work is beautiful. I’m going to wish you and your family Happy Easter it’s next week. God bless.
Thank You Penny! Stitching a lot of white is not my favorite thing either!! But those snow village patterns are sooo beautiful. Putting in a few stitches in white every day is a great way to get it done :)
HI BRENDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D Lovely spending time with you this morning. I'm terribly at keeping up with anyone's videos lol. But of course all of your stuff is always gorgeous (I'm still a sucker for Lost No More (always will be (until I actually stitch it myself (which who knows how long it'll be before I get back to it)))).
HI KYLE!!!!!! I loved seeing your start on Lost No More :) It is a gorgeous piece, and the colors are so beautiful. It will be there waiting for you, whenever you get back to it :) I love that cross stitch is so patient with us!!! LOL
You are amazing! I can't imagine having so many full coverage & big projects! Right now I have 3 big (for me) projects & it is driving me crazy! Thanks for sharing your dimension kit organization. I did a Dimension Birth Chard for my grandson & I sure could have used a better way to organize the threads! I love the parking bobbins! Need to check out your daughter's etsy shop! Have a great rest of March!
Thank You Dee! Sounds like you either need to just focus on one of your three pieces, or figure out a plan of working on them all regularly, lol. I hate it when my projects are driving me crazy :) So glad you liked my Dimensions organization, I bet your grandson's birth chart is gorgeous!!
Wow... thank you so much for talking about that beautiful Crocette a gogo pattern. It really is adorable and I'm pretty new to cross stitching so that designer is brand new to me. Awesome stuff! Enjoyed seeing how you organized the Dimensions pattern, too. You have done so many beautiful projects and I really appreciate the time and trouble you take to put these videos together.
Once upon a time you shower us a yellow lap stand, I can’t remember what video and I wanted to look into it a bit more as I’m looking into buying a stand for myself.
Brenda! You know me so well! I was waiting patiently wondering if this was a week you'd post your Stitching Shelf and it was!!!! Yippee! I had a smile the whole time and yours is looking fabulous! I just passed a couple of squares that look like a hidden parrot of some kind up near the top of the teal book top (next to Sweet Life). See if that's what it looks like to you. There is white and red near the top of the head. I see the eye and the curved beak but the body is rather sketchy with that purple design that seems to trail from the left to right??? Is it part of the book or separate sitting on a vine stem or something. Would love to hear your take on it. Thanks so much for your words of praise and encouragement. I'm looking forward to stitching the ship on the back of one of the books I'm stitching. They are the color of methiolate that the pediatrician used to draw a mouse or bunny on our arms as little children with, using a cotton swab, then asking where we wanted them to get their shot. Do you remember that stuff I think it was outlawed way in the past but I remember it. It was used on scrapes and scuffs we had falling down on unprotected knees. The black lacy fan is on the bottom of them too and the rest of the jar of little spools will be in this page as well. Would love your input to see if it's what you see too. So glad you shared! The videos just get better and better with your son's expertise! Loved the insets - - -YOUR FAIRY VILLIAGE! Wow is it ever looking great! It's definitely the season for it to thrive. What a happy day!
Hi Lilia!!! As usual I am answering your comments backwards, lol!! Yes, I love that parrot, and the beautiful purple butterfly that is down and to the left of the parrot. Can't wait to see your jar of spools and how it looks. I will take a picture of that part of my poster sized print of the artwork and email it to you :) I sooo remember methiolate. My dad loved to be outside exploring the desert on the weekends. We lived in Green River, UT for several years when I was young and we explored the desert in a jeep every weekend. We always stopped at old abandoned homesteads and mines, and explored. Metholiate was in the small first aid kit in the Jeep, and if we scraped ourselves on anything made of rusty metal my dad got it out and painted the scrape and then did just what you said and drew a tail, lol.
Hi Brenda fantastic video as always your work is stunning I especially love your long dog samplers you really inspire me thank you so much ☘️🇮🇪🙃❤️Angela in ireland
So many beautiful wips, well done. I like the sulky you've chosen for the long dog samplers. When using the varigated sulky thread do you stitch each cross one at a time or does it depend on the effect you're after? x
Hi Melissa! I always do one x at a time because I love having the most color variation possible. But some people go across in a row and then finish the x when they come back, it just creates a more "tweedy" look with less color variation. Totally your own preference :)
Hello, I am a new subscriber and really enjoy your WIPs. I wonder how do you stitch your blocks at the shelf of Aimee Stewart? With feathering ?thank you
Hi Ellen!! I know that feathering, or doing a zig zag pattern along the edges of each block helps there not be noticeable lines in the finished product. But my daughter finished her Faerie Tales HAED and I could not see the lines unless I tried really hard to catch the light just right. So I decided not to worry about it and just stitch the blocks as is. I know a lot of people prefer the diagonal parking method because it causes less lines.
Thank You Vicky! If I am working from a paper pattern I always make a working copy and then fold it up so that it just shows the part I am working on. Then I use a needleminder magnet and attach it to my fabric right next to where I am stitching. If I am using a pattern on PatterKeeper on my tablet, I have my tablet on a Tablet Stand and I position the screen at eye height, just to the right of my stitching. I feel like I can stitch faster and easier if the pattern is near where I am stitching :)
Hi Brenda, I admired all your works! You are so organized . Can you tell me where I can find the English translation of the “ Kingdom of Books” ? I like to do it in English as well. Thanks in advance!
Hi there. Is that a chatelaine behind you on the wall? How big is it? Looks awesome. I just purchased my first a mini mandala mystery 3 awaiting it’s arrival. I am so nervous. Love your video you explain everything well.
I wondered how Sulky would work on 40 count. Is it tight? I am using it on 36 count right now and really like it. I guess I should try it on 40. Your projects always inspire me. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Brenda Great video watching while having my Sun. Coffee hoping to get out on this beautiful day here in Utah. I too love q snaps I did Christmas Garden on. A scroll and could never keep it tight enough so qsnaps are my go to. I have many 💚 I still haven’t been able to pick up a bag from the Brass button I’m still hoping When I look I just don’t find a fabric I like yours are all cute so I still have hope? Fabric is on my list to acquire this year. It’s a hard thing for me it seems to get 🤨Take care .........
Hello MaryJo!!!!!! So nice to hear from you :) Yes, keep trying on the Brass Button, she has gotten very popular :) But I am sure she will keep making cute ones and you will find one you like :) I feel the same way about fabric, I keep buying it whenever I see it :)
Thank You Lana! That is a great question. In general, if the fabric is made by Zweigart it is the softer fabric. A fabric dyer should always be able to tell you what base fabric they use if you ask them. Weeks Dye Works fabric used a stiffer base fabric for years, for the fabric they dye and sell. So you just knew that if it was made by Weeks Dye Works it would be the stiffer fabric. But in the last year or so Weeks Dye Works started using Zweigart base fabric for some of their dyed fabric. So now it is a little harder to tell if you are ordering online. I noticed on the 123stitch website that the listing for each of their Weeks Dye Works fabrics now says whether it is Zweigart base or not. But I don't know if all online stores are doing that.
Thank You Susan! For the most part, yes. I put the floss in floss-away bags, on a ring. And I have a working copy of the chart, and use a highlighter if I keep losing my place. And all the floss, pattern, anything that goes with the chart are all kept in one project bag.
Thank You!!! My friends and I are having a great debate on whether it is a bear or a sloth, lol. And one viewer suggested it might be a possum! LOL I guess I should ask the designer :)
Morning I have a Riolis kit and the pattern directions is a large chart and colored. How do you follow that type of chart? If I make a working copy it would only be black and white. Barbara B
Hi Barbara!!! I have a small color inkjet printer/copier at home. So when I have a chart like that I just fold it up and copy the part I am working on. Maybe you could go to a copy store and get color copies made of all the different sections. Also, sometimes a color chart uses a unique symbol with each color, so even if you copy it in black and white you could still tell what color each symbol should be. Good luck! Riolis charts are gorgeous!
Hi Becky! I had a viewer tell me that, that is so funny! Apparently you can still buy them on Amazon as hair curlers, lol. I wore the pink sponge curlers in the 70s, grin.
So I'm French and we also have that "à gogo" expression, and it does mean "in abundance." It's just a really fun way to say it (it's for the sake of the pronunciation I think 😂).
Gorgeous stitching as always! I am working on A Stitching Shelf SS MC. Just posted a picture on my Instagram @pieceandstitches. 28 1x1 full cross, 28k stitches in 2 months. I’m an obsessed monogamous stitcher. LOL
Hi Brenda! I’m stealing your idea for Maynia I think. 12 new starts for the upcoming 12 months. I think Michelle (Momma Loves You GB) is doing it too...😊
Hi Betsy!! I did hear Michelle say that, so glad to have you guys join me, lol!!! It does help me get back to them, and "maybe" finish them, grin. And I love the calendars that Michelle printed out!
Hi Rena! My favorite right now is either 40 ct or 46 ct linen :) But I enjoy all types of fabric depending on the project and what would work best for it.
Your choice of colors on Pandemic is my favorite that I seen stitched.
Enjoy Stitchcom. I wish I could attend. I have several friends that are going. My LNS is Keepsakes. I known Barb and Joe for over 20 years. Their the best. Have fun😊
I love discovering hidden elements in my stitches too. You are clearly loving being retired! 🦉🧵🪡🌻
Yes, I am loving it :)

Love your color choices for Pandemic. Your stitching is always beautiful 😍
Thank You Peggy!
Your projects are all stunning. I like all your tips for cross stitch in your videos.
Thank You Patricia! I am glad the tips are helpful :)
Wow... thank you so much for talking about that beautiful Crocette a gogo pattern. It really is adorable and I'm pretty new to cross stitching so that designer is brand new to me. Awesome stuff! Enjoyed seeing how you organized the Dimensions pattern, too. You have done so many beautiful projects and I really appreciate the time and trouble you take to put these videos together.
Thank You Dahlia! I am glad you thought the Crocette a gogo pattern was beautiful as well :)
Once upon a time you shower us a yellow lap stand, I can’t remember what video and I wanted to look into it a bit more as I’m looking into buying a stand for myself.
Hi Heather!! That is a Velky Potoky stand, and I showed it in Video #70. It is a great stand :) vpotoky.com
Awesome progress. Kringle’s is so close! Really like your intro!
Thank You Sharon!! Andrew did a great job on that :)
Hi Brenda fantastic video as always your work is stunning I especially love your long dog samplers you really inspire me thank you so much ☘️🇮🇪🙃❤️Angela in ireland
Thank You Angela!!! And hello in Ireland!!
@@Handworkmaniac hello to you Brenda and thank you so much ☘️🙃🇮🇪❤️Angela
Love all your Long Dogs - you have such an eye for colour. I’m going to use Sulky for my next one!
Thank You Tess! I love using Sulky, yours will be gorgeous!
So many beautiful projects!
Thank You!
You accomplish so very much. Wow
Thank You! Stitching is definitely my happy place :)
Another fantastic video! Just purchased Band of Roses.
Thank You!! That is a gorgeous pattern!!
Love your videos - quick question. Where do you put your pattern while your stitching
Thank You!! You can email me at adnerbyakj@gmail.com and I will send you the translation that I have :)
Hi there. Is that a chatelaine behind you on the wall? How big is it? Looks awesome. I just purchased my first a mini mandala mystery 3 awaiting it’s arrival. I am so nervous. Love your video you explain everything well.
Hi Gladys! Yes, it is "Evening in the Park". I have finished three Chatelaine mandalas, and loved every one. Have fun stitching your mystery!!!
I wondered how Sulky would work on 40 count. Is it tight? I am using it on 36 count right now and really like it. I guess I should try it on 40. Your projects always inspire me. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Margo! I don't think it is too tight on 40 ct, but I like it on 36 ct as well. Yes, you should try it and see what you think :)
Thanks so much! So much info and beautiful projects. Question - when buying fabric, how do you know if it will be the stiffer fabric or softer?
Brenda love all your wips Can you tell me if you stitch your pattern like you do your kit? Happy stitching and stay safe 🙂
Thank You Susan! For the most part, yes. I put the floss in floss-away bags, on a ring. And I have a working copy of the chart, and use a highlighter if I keep losing my place. And all the floss, pattern, anything that goes with the chart are all kept in one project bag.
You have some really beautiful projects going on. The books are turning out just wonderful.
Thank You!! I am loving those books :)
Where did you get your BYU needle minder? I LOVE IT!
Thank You Audrey!! It was a gift from the owner of The Brass Button Shop on Etsy :)
Another great video. I think in Blue Flower Design that the animal you believe to be a bear is really a sloth. Thank you.
Thank You!!! My friends and I are having a great debate on whether it is a bear or a sloth, lol. And one viewer suggested it might be a possum! LOL I guess I should ask the designer :)
I’m in AWE!
Hi Delicia!!! So nice to hear from you! I wish I was in Cincinnati right now stitching with everyone :)
Morning
I have a Riolis kit and the pattern directions is a large chart and colored.
@@Handworkmaniac Thank you !
The parking bobbins were hair curlers back in the 70’s
Hi Becky! I had a viewer tell me that, that is so funny! Apparently you can still buy them on Amazon as hair curlers, lol. I wore the pink sponge curlers in the 70s, grin.
Great video my name sharing friend! 💕💕
LOL, thank you Brenda!
So I'm French and we also have that "à gogo" expression, and it does mean "in abundance." It's just a really fun way to say it (it's for the sake of the pronunciation I think 😂).
Thank You!!! And I agree, it is definitely fun to say!! :)
Kringle is a very
Pretty piece
Thank You, I have enjoyed stitching that one :)
Gorgeous stitching as always! I am working on A Stitching Shelf SS MC. Just posted a picture on my Instagram @pieceandstitches. 28 1x1 full cross, 28k stitches in 2 months. I’m an obsessed monogamous stitcher. LOL
Ohhhhh, I just looked at your IG post, it is just draw-dropping STUNNING!!!!! Wow!!!!!!!
What is your choice of fabric?
Hi Rena! My favorite right now is either 40 ct or 46 ct linen :) But I enjoy all types of fabric depending on the project and what would work best for it.

Thank You!
