Athena- i don't like the sound, but they aren't bad.
Black majesty - Worth a listen.
Bloodbound- would it be insulting if I said they sound just like iron maiden?
Derdian - Nice. I'll be looking them up.
Forgotten Tales - I'm not sure, but it sounds worth a listen
Freternia - Something is missing.

I have most of the albums on this video!! Never liked Forgotten Tales though, not a fan of female vocals, only occasionally. All the others are great though. I have all their albums on this video except the Black Majesty and I will have to remedy that!!

Were you not reading. helloween came AFTER the first power metal bands. Kiske worshippers tend to ignore that fact.

You are wrong. Both Helloween AND Blind Guardian formed in 1984.
WHat about Accept? Who ARE power metal, formed in 1968. Running wild 1976. Grave Digger 1980. Rage another 1984.
Need I go on. Helloween are NOT the pioneers of power metal, all those bands I have listed are power metal. Helloween became popular, BUT they are not the first.
And early helloween is Heavy Metal, NOT Power Metal. Nowadays Helloween sound like every other band.
