@lakshans6962 actually, the HuTaoMains subreddit has been theorycrafting with Furina for a while now, and it's generally agreed that the new best Hu Tao team is going to be her, Furina, Yelan/XQ, and Jean. Admittedly, 3 5*s on a team is expensive, but it's been calculated to do more damage above 50% hp than even the previous double hydro team below 50%

I do like how furina doesnt really overshadow xingqiu or yelan in spite of her insanity, all three of them serve their own roles within the same neiche and i think thats really interesting
Yups! If anything Furina's combined healing + DMG buff makes Yelan and Xingqiu better, considering one is an HP scaler character and the other is a partial healer 😭
Reverse powercreep is truly something I love about Genshin, because even if I get new characters the older characters still hold up and sometimes become better because of those new characters.
The only hydro to fell off here is Ayato,Childe to the lesser extent but Ayato mainly

I just want to point out, noelle heals the whole party with her burst if you have her skill active every time you auto with her. In mono geo, noelle has the potential to max out her burst stacks VERY quickly for those of you who want to screw around.
Geo + Furina is no longer Mono Geo, it's triple geo or even double geo
What artifacts do you have on Noelle as I just find her healing too awful. If you run a good set on her I might revisit and see what I can do with her, otherwise Jean is good enough for me for Furina

@@draephoenix Because Furina gives damage buff, you can use defence cup on Noelle. And the fastest way she heal is using charge attack. As Furina also buff healing amount you can easily maximize the buff before her charge attack finish.
@@draephoenixHer healing on-field is pretty good. I have her crowned, and she can fully heal the party with just a couple of swings. My defense is pretty high though - she's using R5 Whiteblind with 4pc Husk, and she's at 2.3k defense without any buffs active.

Personally, I think Murata is going to be a Main DPS that has powerful charged attacks that deal one big hit, but goes into cool down when used twice consecutively.
And then, her burst can hold 5 charges, each costing 35 energy to cast. Then, using a burst will reset the cooldown of her charged attack.
.... maybe this references a certain battlesuit too much?

I took one break from this game. One. Came back for dragonspine and saw the festering desire event page on its last day. I had like 3 Questa to do to catch up to the event so I said fuck it I'll just play. Biggest regret in this game

its definitely wrong that Jean is only one capable of this. Baizhu's only flaw with Furina is that to fit him into Furina's rotations with proper CD management, most Baizhu's will require 2 usages of his E skill to maintain burst uptime. His burst is definitely strong for healing but it's maintaining it to be ready every time which is difficult at the higher level. When Baizhu is unable to match Furina's ult usage with his own, thats where he falls as a healer compared to Jean, Yaoyao, or Mika. Some people mention Barbara but her whole team healing is very reliant on burst, which also has the problem of sufficient energy recharge. Her E requires a sizeable amount of field time to full heal the team with E + auto attacks.

Charlotte, Mika, Sayu, and Baizhu all also have a large frontloaded heal that blasts to your hole team. They will all help facilitate Furina's massive buffing capabilities!
Sayu healing is so slow and low % it's simply not gonna be enough.
If your enemy is immune to hydro, just remember, her skill can also be used to heal and thus, she can be used as a replacement healer and damage buffer. She us useful no matter what lol
Unfortunately she won’t drain Hp in her pneuma mode. So unless you have someone like Lyney or Hu Tao, you won’t be doing anything.
i'd say just use her and put her stupidly good dmg buff to other chara. I add her to my exploration team, now wanderer, furina, jean, and zhongli. I could swap zhongli for xingqiu for resistance and get that 25% HP boost, but honestly having zhongli means any ore is two click away from my inventory and those shiny fontaine ore is everywhere.
Except for the fact her healing is dogshit and she can’t even make use of her own passive.

@@sittingcrowd912 its for if you're facing hydro immune enemies like the mimic or tainted hydro phantasm and you're too lazy to change team, u can just keep her in her damaging form, it won't deal damage, but it will still drain your hp, thus u still get the damage buff from ur ult anyways

i think my favorite thing about Furina is that she breathes new life into so many characters and opens up a new way to think about team building … like it makes me so happy that characters like Noelle, Jean, or Mika, etc. have become way more valuable by the mere existence of Furina 💙😌

@@real_rutmen we have a lot of characters that aren’t necessarily bad, but see lower usage in endgame content like spiral abyss bc they struggle to compete against more popular characters at the same investment level - for example we can look at Jean: when properly invested in, she’s a perfectly fine healer/vv holder! but she didn’t see much play prior to Furina bc people preferred to either use an anemo character with more utility (such as Kazuha for grouping) or a different healer that offered more utility (such as Kokomi who can heal and reliably use artifact sets like tenacity or deepwood)
however now that Furina has been released, she has really great synergy with characters like Jean who can instantly heal the whole team with one press of a button - which allows Furina to continue draining teammates’ hp in order to build up fanfare stacks faster and give a greater damage boost to the team… therefore this opens up a lot of possibilities for new teams since Furina works so well with characters that previously didn’t see as much use 👍✨

If Furina deserved a "Why everyone plays" on release, Sigewinne deserves a "Why no one play" on release. Her kit is frankly baffling considering it's coming from the same people who made the rest of version 4.

This is actually one of the notable options where Baizhu is a straight upgrade over Yaoyao since he doesn't need as much field time.

I know a lot of people are focusing on Furina boosting dmg, but I think the fact that she makes it possible for ANYONE to run the marasussy hunter set is absolutely insane!! I've got a pretty good set and with a crit rate or crit dmg weapon im getting characters to 100cr/200+cr dmg. I think this might officially make the hunter set the #1 best general set in the game for dps characters hands down

I wouldn't say it is the #1 best general set, because it has a major drawback: you have to run that DPS with Furina (barring a select few Fontaine ones). And with the Abyss having two sides, well...
Plus it means you have to move crap around, and that sucks.
Overrated benefit, basically, more hassle than it is worth.
@Axterix13 I still don't think that Abyss having 2 sides makes hunter any less of a general set when compared to the other sets. the majority of artifacts are either tied to an element or a niche play style that maybe 3 characters use if even that. The only exception I can think of is the emblem set.

I lost my 50-50 to Mona at 83 pity but then got Furina 6 wishes later
I lost my 50/50 to keqing. But i always wanted keqing. And now I don't want her and I'm not happy about it. (Main account)
Small account i opened, i got furina!
Lost the 50/50 to Diluc
Then got her at 76 pulls
And then got Jean with my last pull
158 pulls for three 5 stars and guaranteed for the next one
I lost my 50/50 at 82 pity. But got her within the next 10 pull. It cost me all my fates I had saved, but I'm incredibly happy that I got her in the end! :)
Two things to add to your analysis.
1. You forgot about Baizhu for full party healing
2. You might not need a healer if you bring the right character. Combine the healing recieved bonus from Furina's elemental burst with her first passive and any character with self healing (Neuvie, Rizzly, Hu Tao, Lyney, Lynette) could potentially heal the party
That's still cope. Yes to a certain extent you can heal the party but heal % is still very low of max hp for the active character. For Neuvillette this is less cope if you are using amber on him and he heals himself constantly. For others i think it might be awkward.
As a noelle main i see this is an absolute win
Giga cope. At least throw Noelle heals in there not Hu Tao heals.
This might be cope except if you're aim is to finish the fight in one rotation. Otherwise, you won't be able to max out her fanfare points since you're not healing the rest of the party and Furinas skill damage deminishes if your party is below 50%. It could work for Noelle tho but other than her, a party REALLY needs a healer.
Neuv heals himself for ~15K at least with every charged attack, with him particularly it is anything but cope

I feel like youre also overlooking Baizhu as a healer. His skill is a potent teamwide heal, and his ultimate consistantly and rapidly heals the onscreen party member.

Barbara’s skill does heal enough, especially when you know that her skill is basically Kokomi’s Burst. She heals the entire party with normal and charged attacks very fast.
Her energy cost isn’t really a problem given that not only she passively regenerates her own energy with C1 and her C4 makes her actively regenerate energy, but you can just give someone else in the party a Favonius weapon.
Not to mention that the presence of Furina will grant Hydro particles and increase MAX HP.
Just give her an Energy Sands and then go for HP and ER in the rest of the artifacts’ sub stats. Those are not difficult-to-come-by stats.
Also, Furina’s energy cost is 60. How are we talking about energy problems with her?

I didn’t expect you already made everyone play for her even if mostly theory without future characters considered but I agree her similarities to Nahida especially in making even Kokomi top DPS is something I loved and I do suspect pyro and Cryo archons would be similar if they offered damage and Crit buffs respectively.
This is the first video I have seen vars break character and I just started laughing. Wonderful video. The genshin gods graced me today with a C2 Furina in ~94 pulls while winning all three 50/50s
I was lucky not seeing the leaks and lucky to get her, and for what I learned about her kit and the 4.2 livestream JUST IS CRACKED like a massive wave she kills everything whit just one swoop

@@princemannic she gives the whole squad a 75-125% buff and her skill does more base dmg than yelan's burst, only mid thing about her is that her application is worse than both yelan and xingqiu
75% max at C0 but combine it with Jean VV set it could increase
@@bullettime1116even then her application is still great, it just isn't consistent like XQ or Yelan as each of her friends has their own ICD and attack speed. Sometimes you apply it three times at once, and sometimes there is a decent gap lol
13:40 I know this was a month ago but let's not get too hyped up. The only thing she cannot buff is transformative damages, basically every reaction aside from vaporize and melt.
Players: Why is she so broken?
Hoyo: Becuase we have to succpass our the trifecta of Xingqui, Kokomi and Yelan. Otherwise none is going to pull for her.

Furina’s burst does not give unconditional damage buff. The condition is losing and healing hp to gains its stacks
Technically you are going to do that anyway, so it's considered unconditional

@@hello_mr.yomi6627 needing to “have a decent healer” is a condition. Even if it’s instant you still need to use a slot on your team for it or need the on field time to use the ability in kokomi’s case
Holy the amount of misinformation and misunderstanding on the theorycrafting part of Furina's kit is (to borrow Vars' word) INSANE!
First thing first, regarding the Fanfare's buff, its not an uncoditional buff, it's highly conditional buff because you have to fluctuate your HP to gain that stacks.
I mean, once you get 50% her summons stops draining your team HP and then she stop gaining the Fanfare stack therefore, no damage bonus gained.
Now speaking of numbers at 5:06, character's damage output is HIGHLY DEPENDS on the team and buffs/rotations, one character can easily have either higher or a lower dmg compared to other at the same amount of investment just by modifying their rotations.
I mean the idea of Furina have comparable dps to Yelan is not wrong, but when all you're comparing is their motion value, NOT the actual damage output, hell not even the total of the motion value in a rotation serve no real purpose.
I'll just say, in a team where you play Yelan and Furina together, Yelan will no doubt have higher dmg ouput than Furina.
Also at 6:00, what do you mean no activation condition on Furina's skill? You need your entire team to be above 50% for the summon to gain damage bonus and you need to fluctuate your teammates HP if you want to gain Fanfare stacks.
Those are a very STRICT condition that require you to bring a Teamwide Healer on your team in place of other buffer/grouper/shielder to make sure the skill actually does damage.
Attacking something to focus on targeting is like the least important condition for her summon its almost non-issue, since they auto target the enemies nearby anyway. You can just sit still and they'll still target enemies.
Its just they wont do any damage unless you fulfill the HP requirement from your party.
At 7:51, the 75% damage buff from fanfare (assuming you fully stack it at talent level 10), is additive to the other Damage Bonus buff like Elemental Skill damage bonus from Golden Troupe set or Normal/Anemo damage bonus buff from Desert Pavilion set.
So basically assuming your entire party only dealing Pyro Element, this 75% damage bonus is the exact same buff as 75% Pyro Elemental damage bonus your party have from their Goblet.
Its not a Total Damage, its an additive damage bonus. A total damage buff would be Xingqiu's C4 and Yoimiya's Elemental Skill. That's different.
There's so much more to unpack especially in regard to how useful a 75% team wide damage bonus is. Like you do get that buff but you're losing out on a grouper and a decent 10%-20% of your team dps by losing Kazuha in favor of slotting Jean in a Neuvilette, Zhongli, Furina for example.
Or dropping either Fischl, Xingqiu, Yelan in favor of slotting in Baizhu in a Cyno, Nahida, Furina team.
Finally, 13:59, How the hell Diona is optimal healer for Furina in that team when Kokomi and Qiqi is considered not fast enough healer is beyond me!?
Like i get you're excited about a new character, but boy, the amount of misinformation in this video is insane.
Finally somebody said this, thank you!! Furina is very good but there are so many conditions to using her that this video doesn't seem to go over. Especially mentioning Diona as an optimal healer in a Eula team--I used that team, and it didn't work at all lmao, Diona does not heal fast enough.

IMO, Finally having another universal buffer + healer character like Bennett but more than just ATK. Even though that I never use her pneuma skill but I can't deny that her buffs are amazing.

Really disappointed with the current state of "Why EVERYONE Plays: ____" series. The main selling points of these types of videos were to show that these said characters are really GOOD, proven by the fact that majority of the player base are actually USING them. But now, it has degraded into a state where these videos are simply biased takes/reviews of the creator themselves, hence making these videos lose their meaning in the first place.
It is genuinely sad to see the current state of these videos, as I really enjoyed the old videos and wondered why people would play some of the more popular characters (Raiden/Nahida etc).
DISCLAIMER: I am not saying that Furina is a bad character or anything, she is REALLY good, it is simply me ranting on these videos losing their original meaning in the first place.

She might be good for damage but I’m finding her boring to play. She doesn’t “feel” unique like other archons.
The value she provides is essentially just a damage number buff. Which is unnecessary for the difficulty of the game, and boring for veteran players.
I also don’t really like her design or the design of the “summoned pets.” I will not be running her frequently for that reason.
Am I the only one feeling this way?

Team explaination in the first replay:
Qiqi hyperfridge team will contain: Qiqi, Furina, Nahida, and Raiden. (Can replace Nahida with DMC and Raiden with Shinobu).

Qiqi will be on-field attacking, driving, and healing the whole team with every hit to max out Furina's stacks, so why Qiqi and not anyone else?
Qiqi's attacks are fast, she can apply cryo consistently for Freeze and Superconduct (Freeze helps making more blooms), she heals A LOT with every hit, and she deals good dmg with Clam set that can be increased by Superconduct.
Qiqi will be using Sac sword and Clam set with healer build(atk/atk/healing bonus), no ER needed. Raiden will be builded with full EM. Nahida will be builded as a dps with Deepwood. And Furina with dps build as long as you have enough HP and ER for her.

On top of everything, this team will have a long looong dps window due to their long duration abilities (~18s), meaning waaaay higher dps time and less dps loss when switching to your supports to do your rotation again, which is a huge advantage! Not to mention that other than Furina no one will need their burst, which makes the builds and rotations easier and save the few seconds of the burst animation.
Note that the hyperblooms won't get buffed by Furina, but Furina, Nahida, and even Qiqi will.
Qiqi has been considered low tier is NOT because she isn't good, she's in fact the best healer in term of healing, it's because what she's good at (overhealing) wasn't needed before Furina, but now we're on the healing era! Qiqi IS becoming better!

As much as I hate to say it, you are drastically overestimating Furina. She has limitations in the fact that she needs a healer and that her hydro application is not nearly enough for many characters and team comps. The healer bit might not sound so bad but it removes Bennett from being on the team because his healing is not good enough, same with kuki, and a whole slew of other characters that would work well but don’t because they don’t have party wide healing. On top of that you could also be replacing people like Kazuha or Sucrose just cause you need Jean for healing. Don’t get me wrong Furina is still an amazing unit, just not the best.
I do agree, plus I think furina is in fact more restrictive in her teams structure than flexible how everyone loves to put it😅 not only u need a team wide healer, but a ton of er on furina herself to even get that burst up.. plus each time u lose all the buffs and have to restack the fanfare points again... Too much hassle for a buff that only 1 or 2 characters on the team will benefit out of 😅 actually the best overall meta defining team is surprisingly haitham quickbloom in which furina is a huge downgrade due to her extremely poor hydro application as well... So yeah overall a mid and overrated unit that everyone hypes up wayyy too much, overlooking a lot of her clunkiness and restrictiveness..
@@ЗлаяПетрушкаquickbloom is meant to maximise Alhaitham’s spread damage. You need the “poor” hydro application so that the quicken aura has a higher uptime. Obviously this is going to be less damage than a pure hyperbloom ram unless you have a highly invested Alhaitham. It’s just a different variation of an Alhaitham spread team like Raiden National.

While I know you're exaggerating on purpose in this video, and I do agree Furina is an absolutely killer unit, I think she's a little bit more balanced than you're giving credit for. Furina trades massive damage bonuses for survivability. While you can argue really good players won't care.. she drains your whole team's health really REALLY quickly. Without a really good healer or a shielding unit she sets you up to be one shot by a lot of enemies. She also forces a healer, which yeah a lot of people already run healers (including me), but a lot of meta players skipped having healers on their teams. So with that in mind, she's essentially a superpowered unit that compensates for the support slot you're sacrificing to run a healer. Lastly, I think it's important to emphasize just how front-loaded she is. Yes, her dmg boost is enormous but even with Jean, it's hard to heal your team back up before Furina's next burst. At C2 this probably doesn't matter, but at C0 I suspect it'll be quite hard to stack up her dmg bonus on the second rotation when your whole team is already down at 50% hp.
Anyway this is to say I do think she's insanely good but there is a tradeoff!
Yess!!! Finally someone pointed out her flaws and the restrictions she actually poses on the team who would be better off without running her in the team at all
one aspect you didn't explicitly mention and didn't get brought up in the comments is that she enables characters like tighnari who couldn't previously run bloom / hyperbloom / quickbloom to do so because her hydro application is unconditional, while yelan & xinqiu need normal attacks, which is a huge dissynergy with charged attack and quickswap carries.
the only reason im bringing this up is because tighnari is my favorite character to play and bloom is my favorite reaction. before furina a bloom tighnari was so awkward to play, now it's effortless.
i guess kokomi and mona were there too but they're both tied to an area while furina isn't.

I feel it is way premature to say Furina is the best character in the game, or even the best Hydro character. This is primarly because Furina is relatively weaker in Dendro teams (her bonus damage from her burst does not apply to the cores since they are transformative reactions and her party self damage makes surving core explosions harder).
However she is probaly a top 5 unit even at C0. We have to probably wait for things to settle down and more Fontaine units to come out before making a final determination.

Finally I won a 50/50 again and got Furina at 51 pity. Before this, I had lost five 50/50s in row. The last time I had won a 50/50 was Yelan's first banner. That's right..even before the release of Sumeru. And after watching this video, I'm so glad it was Furina's banner that I finally won a 50/50 again. Yay!

7:50 She buffs Dmg %, not total dmg% , its a 75% Phy/ele dmg bonus to the whole team. That might seem confusing but its not a 75% total dmg increase but thats how genshin dmg calculation works.

After watching your video I realised how badly I wanted her now. I wasn’t interested in pulling for her first, but your video convinced me since I already have a neuvilette lol. On my first 10 pull I got pity broken by a Jean (funny since you said that Jean is her best support) and on my second 10 I got Furina lmao. I was like ‘is this fate?!?!’ XD.
I dont think she power creeps in that she is a replacement for anyone. She is more like a ShenHe for Healers, but also really buffs almost any team at the same time. She is just the first character that might be better then BENNY
The only problem I see is that in many teams benny acts as the buffer and healer himself so if you switch him for Furina you maybe will need to re-work the team and switch some charcters

This video felt very rushed and not alot of research got into it for the first time. You showed Eula team but forgot diona was a bad choice there, Mika would work better there. Likewise, the Itto team looked scuffed and the hutao team was incredibly paper thin, removing xinqu from their your not only missing huge damage reduction but also interrupt resistance (this problem is expedited when you don't have c1 excess stamina to dodge out of atks). Also some team only had Benny as a solo healer. Surprised you didn't talk about other units like Mika, yaoyao, charlotte. Your opinion on kokomi is very highly, it should be noted that she is a good healer in furina teams WHEN she is a driver(felt like you don't talk about this imp point very much)
You overrated the shit out of Furina, espesially in the end. She is nowhere near being the best character in the game
I can already name 4 -5 other characters that are universally better than her. Shes a solid bottom of S at best or A tier if you dont have healers to go with her.
7:40 I’m not entirely sure on this but I’m like 69% sure furina’s burst buffs damage percent which is calculated the same as elemental damage percent. It doesn’t translate to a 75% damage increase to all characters like neuvillettes multiplier increase which it seems you believe, rather it just means that every character gets 75% elemental damage bonus for all elements and physical damage
Thank you for bringing this up, no one else seems to mention that the buff isn't literally a 75% damage increase. At C0 talent level 10 with max fanfare points its only around 32% increase, Gacha Gamer shows it here: ruclips.net/video/UTtBtXHYz9g/видео.html. It's still fantastic, it's just not as big.
The total damage increase to the party is not "unconditional" in the slightest. It requires certain team compositions to maximize the efficiency, requiring for usual teams to pull something they don't want or new teams to form. She does not fit "unconditionally" in the teams we got used to.
Plus the buff doesn't really benefit hyperbloom teams , it would just benefit Nahidas and Alhaithams personal dmg and not the blooms

Why dosnt anyone give credit to baizhu? Presistent team wide healing off field and potent healing. Baizhu is arguably better then jean since jean onle heals with her burst. Baizhu heals party wide with both skill and burst. And so dose barbra evwn if shes much weaker burst wise
Jean gets the benefit of cleanse (not that important nowadays) and vv. She also has less energy requirement than baizhu. Same with Barbara which suffers from high energy need while furina is also energy hungry
Important to know that furina doesn’t work well with transformative reaction like what dendro is all about so baizhu with furina is an awkward pairing. Furina works great with amplification reaction and mono element which is where vv shrines.
Don’t know since I haven’t tested yet but Jean continuously heal during her burst so probably going to overheal too.

Maybe I'm wrong about this, but I think you might be overlooking the healing factor in Furina's kit for one specific reason: she can still be used against opponents immune to hydro. That's the one annoying thing about Hydro (and every element, but it's particularly bad with this one). If you have a floor with hydro droplets, it makes every hydro character basically useless. However, in Furina's case, she pretty much says, "Well fuck. If I can't do damage, I'll just heal." And considering those things do a shit ton of damage in Spiral Abyss, it doesn't lower the effectiveness of her burst.
Doesn't change any other aspect of your breakdown, but I just wanted to add in that bit of tech that caught my attention.
Thats a huge dps loss. Its still more worth it to use the hp draining mode since you are going to be using her with a healer anyways to get more fanfare or not bring her into that floor at all

Sorry to say this, but as much as I usually appreciate your content, aspects of this video feel quite a bit rushed to me. This is just my personal impression and I could be wrong, but it seems like getting it out as early as possible has been prioritized over making sure the information provided is actually correct.
For example, the notion that bringing a healer is a requirement that would have been met anyway is just flat out misleading in my opinion since Furina requires specifically teamwide healing, single target healing just isn't feasible with her. So no, just bringing Bennett / Kuki / any future healer that brings lots of utility but doesn't heal team wide will just not be enough anymore. (Diona in Eula-Furina team as the ONLY healer? HOW??? Furina's stacks will crash through the floor after the first rotation!)
Jean is also certainly not the only healer in the game who can heal the whole party, where did you even get that misconception from? Barbara is even literally free... That's what I mean by the video feeling rushed to me.

Her damage boost, especially at c0 isn’t unconditional though. It can be difficult to pull off with a healer that only heals one party member at a time (like Diona or Bennett); I’ve already tried her with Diona and it’s very clunky, so she isn’t as versatile as you said. I don’t think she’s a must-pull, I think this video is overhyping her a bit, given the update just came out.
Also maybe don’t reveal major story spoilers RIGHT after an update comes out?
She is surprisingly balanced for an archon. She shackled to a couple of healers , without a full team healer she is mid if not even clunky. imo she is on the level of the other archons besides nahida and behind xq and yelan
If you don't already have strong team healers its probably best to skip her.
Its interesting how she could have been broken if she doesn't have the 50% health limit but that limit really a long with constant hp drains really pulls her back

Correction in the video: Her DMG bonus isnt elemental DMG bonus its additive damage bonus. Additive damage bonus comes at the beggining (BaseDMG * BaseDMGMultiplier) + Additive Damage Bonus (75% c0 max fanfare) ; elemental damage bonus is the one after it * (DMGbonus - DMG reduction of the target) Whether is better or worse than elemental damage depends on what/who ur using it. Nevertheless huge damage increase but there is still a difference!

After using her a bit I’m confident in saying I kinda disagree with how much you overrate her she’s good but also heavily restricted by the fact you need a party wide healer to which the options are slim and or you have to sacrifice a slot for what could be used on a better character, especially for her fan fair which is a really annoying ult, her minions are cool but in AoE scenarios really annoying, she’s neat and cool but I feel she’s got glaring problems

Bro is glazing so hard 💀 like yeah she’s good, but “the best character in the game?” Quit with the capping. She’s way too restrictive and has no universality at all. She’ll never be able to compete with the likes of Xingqiu, Yelan, and Kokomi in terms of their flexibility. She sucks for Bloom/Hyperbloom/Burgeon, sucks for taser, sucks for Vape, and literally cannot be played without a healer unless you’re Nuevilette. Damage boosting alone can only get you so far, which is why Mona is struggling big time in the current Genshin climate. Even Bennet has been losing value lately, as buff on its own with very little else to show for it just isn’t as valuable as it used to be (don’t get me wrong Bennet is still amazing, especially because he heals a lot, but he’s not the “one-size-fits-all” unit that he used to be). Furina does have pretty good personal damage, which is the one saving grace she has to her name, and makes her top tier as opposed to mid tier. But she’s not the best character, not even the best 5 star. No one can dethrone Nahida.

Because it's so conditional. Unless you have her at C2. Even then you really want a full team healer. Using single target healer doesn't work as well. If she buffed just as much without needed a healer she'd be far too broken of a character. Her being tied to a healer to maximize her Buff is what makes her balanced.
