There are quite a few reasons. One of the main reasons was I got big too quick, and realized I was following other peoples visions for my business, and not mine. Great question. I closed it September 2022, for several reasons. 1. My business grew so big so quick, and I realized I was living the vision that others saw for me and not living up to my ideas of success. 2. Watching business trends, I could see that e-commerce sales were going to start going back to pre COVID numbers, and the amount of out put needed to keep up with a shop+ fulfillment center was more than I wanted to deal with. 3. I was exhausted, and wanted to start creating my business around the life I wanted to live! I have a video planned explaining this more in depth, but these are a few of the main reasons. I now use the pre sale method because my main focus is education and not candles and it makes it so I don’t put any unnecessary funds towards inventory. I only make what people buy, and only once or twice a month.
It is a major commitment to have a dedicated business space. It is easier to keep it at home as long as humanly possible. Like forever and always. The landlord man dont need no % out if this profit. Advice from someone who had retail and biz space for years. Before internet. Never again.
