Simon is the most underrated frontmen in rock. Biffy is the most underrated band I can remember. I adore everyone involved in Biff. So happy to see Simon spread his wings, so dayum cool.

Saw Biffy for the first time at Waterpop 2002, and shortly after Oceansize. Later on we went to Brighton te check Biffy and Cardiacs. What a trip these bands. Spend a couple of trips checking out bands in the uk. Good times. So happy Mike and Simon are doing this band. They and us deserve this. First show on Dutch soil I’m there🤘🏻😎 Cheers from Holland.

Great interview, everybody just seemed to be having fun and a laugh with each other which is cool. Been a Biffy and Oceansize fan from about 2000 so I know most of the bands' back catalogue, ESB definitely has a bit of early Biffy feel to it. Most people used to the current Biffy which is fine but a very heavy band back in the day with songs like Bodies In Flight, Now The Action Is On Fire and There's No Such Thing As A Jaggy Snake

I would say that Biffy have always been a mixed band. You’ve got Breather, Christopher’s River and The Atrocity from the early days as “softer” songs. And then newer heavier songs like Denier, Slurpy Slurpy Sleep Sleep, End Of and Cop Syrupy.
