CHILDREN’S CHURCH - Jesus Blesses the People

Jesus goes up on a mountain and gives some of the teachings promised in Isaiah. The teachings, the “blessed are the” statements, are themselves quite like the peace and shalom declarations of Isaiah. Jesus proclaims that the lowly-all those whom the world considers the very opposite of blessed-are indeed blessed by God. This is preaching, teaching, and poetry all rolled into one.
