I think it's a combination of backstory lies being common in Hollywood, and her just being the sorta person prone to lying/exaggerating/stretching the truth.
I absolutely DESPISE these people saying they grew up iN pOvErTy. Such a slap in the face for those of us who were actually struggling and still continue to struggle to this day.
Because they want to appear relatable to us as an audience, so they will gather a following of people who say "wow they are just like me". You can hardly connect with someone who never struggled to make it to the next paycheck or, to put a vague example, never put water in the shampoo bottle to make it last longer before it was possible to buy a new one.
Wealthy people are so disconnected, to say you grew up poor and in the same breath say you did, skiing, wakeboarding, dirt biking, soccer, and a few other activities? A poor family would struggle to afford just one of those activities…..ALL of them? SMH
Thank you for saying this. I literally wasn't able to do so much in life bc of the cost barriers and only went snowboarding for the first time at 32 bc I realized that renting wasn't too bad as a birthday treat for myself.
i grew up in rural bavaria, germany, and every winter we had a ski get away with our public school. Since we live so close to the mountains that would mean that we would be go by bus to a youth hostel with our teachers and ski for a couple of days. There were class mates who could not afford to go, so there are government funds to help with that. Also our class, some of the wealthier families would "over-pay" for their kids, so the extra money could go towards paying for the hostel stay for some other kids. Noone was really rich by any means, but people and government was helping out. No idea how it is these days though, that's like 20 years ago already.

they are in the US as well. skiing is for the wealthy or at least middle class... probably upper middle class though. ski clothes for growing children seems like a big expense.
Canadian here, and skiing clothes is what we need for the winter as kids anyways, we weren’t allowed at recess if we didn’t wear our snow pants and stuff. So when our schools took us skiing we’d wear what we regularly wear outside during the winter 🤷🏾♀️ (public schools fyi)

She was weird on the Drew Barrymore show. Drew asked Sydney about her saying she reads 5-10 books a week. Drew asked her what books she recommends that she has been reading lately, and she’s like “so many books, I love books!” She has many responses to interview questions like this…
When did she start practicing as a criminal lawyer? Because so much of this "lying" is taken out of context like her being valedictorian - NOT a lie - is presented here as a lie just because her class size was small. Does that suddenly make her NOT a valedictorian OR you just jealous because she gets the label without her having to have come from a schcool with 2000 students? Because the former isn't her problem; it's yours. And her job as universal studio. She said she memorized the whole thing; maybe she wanted that job; couldn't get it because she was too young, but dreamed about it. It wasn't her job, but she acted/fantasized like it was. Is that really the kind of thing you make an entire youtube video about? And her sports/hobbies WERE hers, just didn't fit the timeline *YOU* think are deserving of mentioning as adults - the stupidest part of this whole video - because it proved that even if something wasn't a lie, you'd twist it into a lie. @@shebreathesingold8043 Sydney's mom is like 35 years older than her. She would've been an established and accomplished criminal lawyer by 35. If she was a young mom then she probably would've graduated when Sydney was 8 like you mentioned but that isn't the case. Also you asked why someone made a video on her innocuous lies: thing is, most people are sick and tired of celebs like her pretending to be poor. They are aestheticizing poverty and growing up with nothing even though their lives were nothing like that. They are weaving a narrative to make it seem like they were an underdog when they had all the privilege in the world. she's LYING. She SHOULD be called out for that. She grew up upper class and she should be honest and own it. Thank her parents for working hard and providing her with a good life instead of lying that she was out there paying their bills as a teen. She's not the only one. Another example I can give you is JLo who keeps lying about being a hustler from the Bronx even though she grew up rich. Many more examples too. Bottom line- call out dishonest celebs.
Maybe it's partly true but they embellish it, they want to be relatable or inspirational that you can make it, to show they worked for something, or cause some people hate rich people. Some people assume people and celebs' finances without them saying anything either.
She probably just took a program/course at the UCLA Extension School. Not the actual college. Cuz UCLA undergrad does not have a Business Degrees - we have a Business Economics which was under the Economics degree.
As an upper middle class kid myself, i dont understand when people who grew up comfortably lie about being poor. Maybe its an American thing but i havent seen anyone in my country do that. I was never poor and while im not exactly rich i realize that I'm privileged and im glad that ive never had to struggle financially.
in America we have a super individualistic way of thinking. Being independent and getting it out the mud is seen as admirable or truly American. Working 2 or 3 jobs is for some reason the path of the american dream
I grew up poor. It's okay if a celebrity is rich, I don't get the lies. I find certain ones relatable by their personality. I love Sandra Bullock and Drew Barrymore. I feel like I can relate to them even though they have completely different backgrounds.
People lie about being poor because it credits how good of an actor they are to face a life of financial struggle being under privileged but yet rose above all the privileged kids. It’s like they had it worse and so they deserve our sympathy. But if they came from wealth it’s like: “well no duh you made it, your dad and mom put you in all those fancy classes that groomed you to be a star”. Eye roll. People envy the rich so much and it’s not a nice feeling.
We need to ask that chick that went to hs with her some questions 😂 I bet she’s got some good gossip and stories. She had to have been doing this then too.
My mom is like this. I cannot recall a single story she has told about her past in which she was not victimized somehow….goes to a birthday party as a kid, gets no cake because her gift wasn’t good enough. Lol stuff like that
True story my high school, Redlands High School, banned it because either someone did actually kill someone or someone tried to kill somebody. This was decades before I went there. But shout out to California’s oldest continuous public high school! RHS.
I was homeschooled, and our homeschool coop group that met once a week gave us a graduation. Two kids and their helicopter parents were fighting over who should be valedictorian in a "class" of 7 kids whose parents gave them their grades. Hearing about this gave me some hardcore secondhand embarrassment remembering that.
Nah, her parents are rich af. Her mom's a lawyer and her dad is in hotel management or something. She's never had to struggle a day in her life and it shows.
😂😂😂 I thought that was so odd too. I imagine her going off script to make that PSA because I don’t know how else she would get the opportunity to do that. It seems so out of touch with the tone of the show.
I got such second hand embarrassment lmao. This is what happens when you get celebrities who aren't actually funny to host. hers was one of the worst episodes of the season by far
I remember when she said she built an entire sports car with her bare hands. When asked what she liked about being a 'mechanic', she just giggled and said 'I don't know, I just like cars'. She can cry on cue, that's the only thing i can say about her talent. Like others have said, she's Cassie irl.
tbf there are videos of her working on cars. of course working on a car isn't the same as building one so it definitely could've been another lie/exaggeration but she seems to at least know stuff about it and like it, and for most mechanics the reason they get into and enjoy it is cause they like cars lol, that's a normal response to a question like that. if you go to a professional mechanic and ask why they decided to pursue it there's a good chance they'll also just say 'idk, i like cars'
It’s crazy to me how many of these celebrities parents are cool with being portrayed as bankrupted mooches willing to sell their kids out to get by. I’d be ashamed to downplay how hard my parents work like that.
The first two lies remind me of Taylor Swift saying she grew up on a Christmas tree farm (it was a vacation home) and that a computer repair man just happened to teach her how to play guitar (he was a repair man AND a music teacher who was hired to teach her guitar). It's to make them seem more special, like they happened upon their careers and didn't work hard for them. At least with Taylor, it was to make fans want to be like her, but I'm not sure what Sydney gains from it considering her fans aren't as young and impressionable.
I agree with everything else but I just wanted to say the Christmas tree farm was in her backyard lol. There's several old home videos of her as a baby/child & you can see it😭

She did an interview a year or so ago while promoting season 2 of euphoria and talked about how she forgot to tell her family members she was going to be naked in the first episode of the show, but that just reminded me of Margo Robbie giving a similar statement while being interviewed for The wolf of wall street ten years ago. I truly believe Sydney fully stole that anecdote from Robbie.
Why even brag about valedictorian when there’s 8 students in ur class? Even the smallest towns in the country have a higher standard with just a few more students and don’t brag about that kind of stuff lol

Not to mention she lied about having a service dog. Service dogs are not just accessories, they're task trained to help an individual with a disability. And as an able bodied actor who most likely does not have a condition disabling enough to require one, she's actively lying about having a disability. She just slapped an Amazon service dog vest on a dog so she could bring it places it wasn't allowed.
We don't know if she's disable or not. Not everyone's disability is visible...please keep that in mind. For example my boyfriend have so many disabilities that you can't just tell by looking at him. He'll list them all and everyone is always shock and that's because he doesn't let his disability stop him from living life. Disability isn't just a physically thing, it can also be interal and mental.
@@Moonlight-yx5sg The problem is her dog is clearly NOT a service dog or trained at all to help her with a disability IF she has a disability. Disabled + Dog does not = service dog. It's the fact that her dog is NOT a service dog and she lies about it being one so she can bring it into non pet friendly places. There is nothing wrong about being middle class and being able to afford things. It's a priviledge and a blessing. I guarantee no one would give two f*cks if Sydney was just honest. She's insanely talented and beautiful, I don't understand why she needs to fake narrative of being poor and doing a hundred activities to make the masses love her. She's going to fall off all for dumb unnecessary lies.
I went to hs with a celebrity (not Sydney) who also lies about their past. Like, claims he grew up poor (his family worth millions) and was on our school's basketball team (he wasn't). I guess this is common in Hollywood
I grew up in a middle class community where everyone was obsessed with the minuscule differences in our parents incomes. But weirdly, all of the lower middle class kids bragged about their wealth, and all of the upper middle class kids claimed they were “so poor.” It was confusing to go to someone’s house that was 3 times bigger than my parents house, parents buying them brand new cars for their 16th birthday, casually going on trips to Europe, and they were complaining about their poverty.
As soon as people started talking about privilege and nepotism, everyone I knew that grew up wealthy started scrambling to come up with a hard luck story that made them less likely to be judged. It happens.
It’s most likely her PR team/Agent/Management that came up with all that. They’ll usually do it for a client cause it works. Kind of like “fake it to you make it”. You have to get people interested in your client and build them up to sell them to the world. There are so many stories like this you would never know about and they’ve done it forever, it’s actually genius marketing. But nowadays with internet sleuths it’s getting harder and harder to bs everyone 😆
All these lies are giving is that Sydney IS Cassie and just wants the public to think she’s down to earth & the girl next door while also being the multi tasking multi job barbie when she is absolutely the rich entitled girlie Ngl, i kinda side eyed how her Insta post for Madam Web had her using an iPhone (which she had to edit over, awkwardly) while she’s contracted with Samsung. I don’t believe she’s used a Samsung for more than the couple days for the Samsung promo parties.
Not a fan of her or anything, I don't really care for her, but it's completely normal and not strange at all for celebs who have contracts with certain phone companies to not use their products. MANY kpop idols have contracts with Samsung and such but still use their iPhones (and hide it/edit over it in pics) simply because that's their preference. They usually sign these contracts for the money (obviously) and because typically their agency or managers advise them to do so, or simply do it for them. It's a little odd but not surprising and honestly it's the last thing I care about considering it's all for ads anyway.

Thanks for making this! Very validating. The lying about being a tour guide made me so mad. As an ex theme park performer, similar to the tour guide- it’s a role people aspire to and work hard to get and keep. it’s not some little blip high schoolers do or a cute lil story until “she got something real.” It feels so out of touch. At least lie about something less verifiable. Theme park people always can figure out our own, and who isn’t. Lots of people will say things like “who cares they are harmless” but lying is WRONG and it doesn’t matter who you are, people should be called out on it!
I feel like most celebrities do this. Maybe not quite to this extent, but if you really pay attention, you’ll notice a bit of a pattern. They want to seem relatable to the common folk and so they claim they grew up in poverty, or at the very least, struggled in some way, shape or form. It’s gotten to the point where I can’t help but roll my eyes whenever I hear that a celeb struggled in their youth. Keep in mind, I have no doubt that some of them did probably struggle, but it seems like an all too common theme among them.
All celebrities do this, they have agents and publicists and a whole team behind them telling them what to say, what image they should pursue, it's normal. Everyone in Hollywood does it. No need to hate her, her public image is her job.
I always felt this way about Natalie Portman's persona--her parents were medical doctors and she grew up in Manhattan, but she would talk about how modest her upbringing was in interviews and how much she appreciated her parents for scraping together few nickels to take her to arts events on the weekends. I remember dating men who were convinced that their para-romantic longing for her was in part based on admiration for her work ethic (this was just after her Oscar win for Black Swan when she was doing press tours talking about how she trained 18-hour days for the role, but before her dancer body double exposed her.) It's sad how these fictional narratives manipulate people into feeling contemptuous toward their real life social connections. I don't blame Sweeney or Portman for having to play into these narratives; I'm sure they're coached into it by their handlers.
This! And her getting her name on a scientific journal article and going to Harvard. While she did do those things, she also went to a private school where it common for students to achieve this. There’s other inconstancies in her story too. Same for Emma Watson pretending to be poor. Emma also pretended to be a real life Hermione when she is a heavy private jet user and compulsive liar.
****PLEASE READ****MORE INFO ON SYDNEY COMING FROM SOMEONE WHO WENT TO HIGH SCHOOL WITH HER AND WAS FRIENDS BEFORE ALL THE FAM!!**** Okay, so first things first she went to Brighton Hall in high school (barely) she got Valedictorian because she "took" two honors classes. If I could link the photo of her graduation/graduating class here on RUclips, I would but don't know how. The total graduating class is 14 so valedictorian isn't that grand, but it's still something to be proud of despite, I guess.. It was a legit school, followed the California board of education despite how it looks on the outside, that being said who even remembers high school education. Brighton Hall had no Extracurricular Activities and even if it did, I doubt she would have done any being that she barely was at school due to "auditions" Next, SHE DID NOT GO TO UCLA. First off you have to send applications to get into UCLA, you don't just get in and go to law school. Acting was her Plan A, always and college and all of that was a plan B because that means she failed. College was never in her plan so this whole college story is BS. I believe the whole story about the teacher kicking her out is a very fabricated story when she went to take the final in one of her honors classes in high school where she never attended the lectures and then randomly came to take the final, the teacher and the small class were surprised and shocked to see her, but she was never kicked out. And I said Small class, not some huge auditorium she states. Also she was never bullied or any of that. I believe she's mentioned that before in an interview. So college a complete lie. Pretty much right after we graduated if not during 2016 graduating year she booked the Netflix show Everything Sucks! So theres no way she was applying, accepted and attending LAW School. Sydney had also said she learned fluent Russian for a role in an interview but then wouldn't say any words, so obviously a lie because if you knew the language you'd at least say one word right? Another student was taking private Russian lessons from one of her teachers at Brighton Hall after school. I'm assuming Sydney made that fabricated story based on that student. Sydney, her mom and brother did live in a hotel for a bit, but they eventually moved to a house. I don't know how long they lived in the hotel, however I just wanted to clarify hotel...NOT motel, more like a hotel in downown Burbank, a very nice area. But of course motel sounds more sad, and "poor" I guess. Not cool, I know. That's all I wanted to share. I have so many more stories but this is long enough. Interesting and disturbing all at once. Unfortunately, mine was, I wear my scars with honor but I most certainly don’t use it to garner sympathy from others, or create attention, that’s my trauma not a lifetime movie, and quite honestly know else’s business. I'm honestly happy for her success because she's worked hard to be where she is today and deserves all the fam and success, however lying and making people feel sympathy for her is what rubs me wrong. She has true personal struggles which would make her more loved and relatable rather than lie about things that can be proven a lie. Don't know why but who knows what she has going and what her team thinks is best. Guess the truth always prevails.
@@HannAnimeLover the lies are most likely perpetuated by her managers. Not to defend her or anything, but theres SO MANY actresses who lie like this. Jennifer lawrence is just one example, she actually lied about such stupid things aswell.
Random question, but how different was she compared to now? I assume that there are other things we still don't know about her that could be false, right? 🤷♂️
@@ssjgroup2579 how different how so? I guess all I could say before fam and PR, she had nothing to lie about. She's a very nice person at heart I believe. Always wanted to build her Bronco, loves her Dog Tank. I think at the core she's a good person still, however she just feels like making a big sob story and little lies will make people feel for her more maybe rather than just seeing her as some "sex" icon. Like I said, she's worked hard to be where she is today, just not sure what her over all goal is with not giving the full truth and making little lies.
but she did live in a trailer park, yes her family had money but at the time she lived in the trailer park she didn't have her parents support anymore...
Two things can be true at once. You can come from a wealthy family but end up without their support once you grow up and live poorly. In Lanas case I'm pretty sure she stopped getting their support and did live in a trailer park for awhile. But I get what you mean, a lot of celebs love to play it up to be more "relatable".
She did a solid job on The Handmaid’s Tale and she has been great on Euphoria, with what she’s been given. I don’t like all these lies and manipulative bullshit she’s doing, and it makes me totally incapable of rooting for her, but I’m not going to claim that she isn’t a gifted performer. She’s no Elisabeth Moss, Meryl Streep, Halle Berry, or Julianne Moore, but she’s a solid actress. I don’t think she has a career in film, however. She does not possess that kind of strength, conviction, or presence, but she’s good enough for TV.
She is a fantastic actress, her roles in The Handmaid’s Tale and Euphoria were played to perfection. I do agree that she’s not that good-looking as people say.
I know the answer and it’s simple. It gives her power. The power to boost her career, the power to control the narrative of her own story. Put it like this, if she told the truth, she not relatable anymore to the public, loses the IT girl status, she’ll be in less movies unless she’s a great actress, and eventually in theory could become irrelevant and her career/wealth in theory will suffer. It’s interesting because I’m seeing her everywhere and she’s been painted as the new IT woman for now and seeing her I thought she was kind of cool and pretty obviously but this video highlights how she’s kind of NOT ? She’s using high levels of manipulation to control the public perception. Almost the literal NEWS in human form.
@@x77punk77x I did use context and you're nitpicking my words when 108 people understood where I was coming from. If you still don't get it, that isn't my fault. The news paper is NOT consistent on being truthful and neither is Sydney. Simple connection man.
Idk she might just be a liar and not a good one. Which in my opinion makes her a mid actress (but I have my theories as to why she of all ppl is being hoisted towards the forefront as the new IT girl) Your whole career is built off pretending to be someone else and making it believable. She literally went to a school specifically for child actors.. where is the PR training?? The only reason she embodied Cassie’s character is bc that is in fact who she is as a person irl (just my theory) When she played that role, I believed her. I could name hundreds of actors that get type-casted to play themselves. However your theory would make sense if she came from a different era where none of her lies could easily be verifiable. So many celebrities back in 50s and 60s lied about their past for many reasons. From making their past life more interesting, to merely protecting their identity to pass. Though many others have taken that route of lying to be interesting etc., I have yet to see it end well for anyone. Like Her body language is always nonchalant and she laughs everything off like it’s no big deal.. when it is lmao. She’s a whole valley girl, which is okay. My point is we are currently in an era of authenticity, yeah there may be some things we as a collective could relate to. But every individual is one of one, it’s okay to be authentic and your true self in a world where we’re told not to be. That is true power. In Sydney’s case as an actress, a person, and as someone attempting to manipulate the public I don’t believe her.

She would come by to visit. She brought him ice cream because she knew he loved ice cream. She wasn’t unkind to waitstaff. She talked about normal stuff. She’s actually a really good person where it counts imo and I’m old and consider her normal enough where I don’t watch all her stuff. She just really seemed to care about my dad in the last year’s of his life and it meant something to him.
Sooo I actually work at Universal Studios Hollywood and your contact doesn’t know what a character escort does, lmao. They are called production assistants and DO NOT help character performers get into costume. That is what I, a COSTUME DRESSER, do. I’ve worked here since 2015. Production assistants just escort characters to their photo op sets in the park and manage the guest queue. Costume dressers are actually hard workers and it is a highly skilled position! We do a lot! We fabricate, repair and clean the costumes. We do quick changes during shows. We build the more complex costumes that have harness systems inside them. We train character performers on how to wear their costumes. We care for the performers when they come off set as well as dress them. So Sydney Sweeney didn’t even do that much. She just walked the character to a spot in the park.
@@dayglodoggy No, but many of my coworkers did. I have a background in retail and customer service and I worked in the park’s Wardrobe department which is similar to Costumes but for the uniforms of the front-line employees. I was a seamstress assistant there prior to moving departments to Costume where I learned a lot of the skills I use in Costume. I am self-taught mostly, but if you want to be in Costumes for theme parks, theater, or motion pictures, it is a good idea to study it first in school. That will give you the technical skills you need like sewing. What is most important is experience and practice. Build a portfolio and get hands-on experience from school theater, local theater, fashion, even retail. An often neglected side to job is customer service. You aren’t just working with costumes, you are working with people - performers and actors. You need to learn as well how to deal with people and intuitively understand their needs because some performers will be extra shy about asking for what they need which could be a safety concern and will effect their performance too, and others will be too high-maintenance and you need to be able to mitigate them constant complaining to you or you won’t get any other work done.
Well there’s something called generational wealth. That usually comes from having the privilege to sell a big family farm when you have money troubles.

true, its just that people LOVE rags to riches stories as much as they don't want to admit it. Most people feel more comfortable supporting someone who was just like them a few years ago. Again, people don't want to admit that either.
@@katgreer6113 But I feel like that's fine people should be allowed to have something that makes them like someone more. Most people are middle class and under so it makes sense that they'd want to support someone from that background a bit more because they know what the obstacles in their life must of been like to go from a normal or low income to the top level in the entertainment industry, we recognize the level of sacrifice that must have been made. The trade off is that wealthier people have an easier time accessing success, but they don't get the folk hero story attached to them, and rags to riches people have a harder time gaining access but when they do it's that much more impressive. I think that's kind of fair, and it's weird when the wealthy people want it all, they want the ease of access as well as the adoration from the normal people for doing so. It feels like they aren't thankful for their advantages, and in turn people don't like that, because it makes it seem like the wealthy ones don't see how much harder it is for the not wealthy people.
@user-ri5ex9xl9e yes. You're right and I completely get that. I'm just saying that people here are acting so shocked that's she's "lying" and asking why. It's not like she can just keep silent about the details of her life either since she's a public figure and needs to market herself. I just think people don't want to ADMIT that they don't like to see people who are already wealthy have the upper hand all the time. Which, again, I agree with. We just need to be honest and say it out loud. We all know why she's doing this deep down. We want someone from our own circle to succeed. I don't know why someone would obsess over this woman enough to create a 40 minute video and do hours of research into her." Because so much of this "lying" is taken out of context like her being valedictorian - NOT a lie - is presented here as a lie just because her class size was small. Same with the professor. So she was not allowed to take the test, but YOU think the professor was doing her a favor, but what does that have to do with her worldview at the moment, thinking that missing out on this class messed her entire future? Kids that age ARE that black/white when thing don't go according to plan, it looks like the world is ending. So, that wasn't a lie. Anyway, this video was so stupid. You can put anyone's life under a microscope and find the same things: lies, exaggerations, TRUTHS people want to twist into lies, etc.
Why is suddenly pretending to be poor a trend?!
This has alwayyyss been a “trend,” Shane Dawson and other old famous RUclipsrs would lie about being poor
Maybe it's partly true but they embellish it, they want to be relatable or inspirational that you can make it, to show they worked for something, or cause some people hate rich people. Some people assume people and celebs' finances without them saying anything either.

I was never poor and while im not exactly rich i realize that I'm privileged and im glad that ive never had to struggle financially.
They want to appear more "relatable"...
in America we have a super individualistic way of thinking.

Valedictorian of 5 kids is hilarious
Isn't valedictorian just a made up thing anyway?
It's more impressive when you forget to mention the "5 kids" part so everyone just assumes the number is far larger.
Remind me of a story my grandpa told how he won this big race when he was a kid. By being the only one to show up.
She's never had to struggle a day in her life and it shows.

because this is all coming from her PR team, which she hired because they know what they are doing, so she follows their advice.

She just slapped an Amazon service dog vest on a dog so she could bring it places it wasn't allowed.

Okay, so first things first she went to Brighton Hall in high school (barely) she got Valedictorian because she "took" two honors classes.
Brighton Hall had no Extracurricular Activities and even if it did, I doubt she would have done any being that she barely was at school due to "auditions"
Next, SHE DID NOT GO TO UCLA.
I hope you all read and please know that everything I say is true and not meant to be rude or hurt Sydney, however I was a friend of hers up until her fam of course and I don't care for her lies so just felt the truth should be shared. Interesting and disturbing all at once. I mean if she was rich or wealthier then peers (her parents obviously) or at least not this poor me poor girl who moved through the muck and hard knock life to make it out as a shiny new star who worked to the bone, like just own it. 🙄 it’s bizarre to lie about some of the most insignificant things in her world. Valedictorian is a scholastic honor, but out of 14 students it begs the question (and absolutely no offense against you or the other classmates) how hard was it to be recognized as such. I guess valedictorian is valedictorian 🤷🏻♀️ from my perspective making her life appear as this grandiose delusional hard life, super brilliant who was wronged in graduating from Law school like she’s some ultra genius who got punished for being so smart cause she didn’t have to attend class like the others but that mean mean professor and her peers just stomped all over her success in jealousy, the woo is me lies are just f’in weird. Guess she really is an actress afterall. This girl is on HBO, she’s in a popular show (when it comes back lol) she’s rubbing shoulders with the likes of potentially great actors, making a substantial paycheck, gaining attention why would she care and need the sympathy, sounds like maybe she needs some therapy tbh. She needs to Just live her life girl, she should be grateful that it wasn’t as tragic as she’s painting her life to be. Unfortunately, mine was, I wear my scars with honor but I most certainly don’t use it to garner sympathy from others, or create attention, that’s my trauma not a lifetime movie, and quite honestly know else’s business. I only share that part of me when I trust someone wholeheartedly, not thrown in a tabloid. That’s just me though. If in fact these things that you say are true (I’m not doubting you but it is the internet I’m sure you understand my slight skepticism) she strikes me as a spoiled young lady, who pathologically lies and attempts to be the rags to riches storyline. Who cares if her parents had money 😂 who cares if she didn’t wanna go to college, she should be proud she made it. That industry is hard to break into. The lies are sooooooo weird! Thanks for the read for sure! The messy part of me wants to hear more 😂 sorry for the rant!
@@faithleah1981 she only got Valedictorian in her class because she took "two" honors classes but when it comes to legitimate valedictorian credit, I wouldn't give it much based on the number of classmates toyal. If it was a high school graduating class of 500 then you go girl!
I honestly don't know what's with all the lies. She was very cool, we hung out often, but the second she got a Netflix show and famous, bye bye anyone below her and let's create a false identity.
I have no hate or jealousy of her/ her career.

I think at the core she's a good person still, however she just feels like making a big sob story and little lies will make people feel for her more maybe rather than just seeing her as some "sex" icon. Like I said, she's worked hard to be where she is today, just not sure what her over all goal is with not giving the full truth and making little lies.

it's hollywood. people still think lana del rey's from a trailer park but her family has always had a steak in disney

Gotta love the trailer-park flex.
Wait, what does her parents have to do with Disney? I never heard any of that and can’t find it on Google

I just don't get the hype over this girl? In my opinion she is not all that great.
Breasts. Very large breasts.
THANK YOU
It's because she's blonde and has huge boobs, I don't see the hype with her either tbh
And she has to lie to make herself interesting and have a personality because she’s boring and has no personality
“…the literal NEWS in human form”?

Well…. She definitely constantly fabricates at least 😂
How did you get into that line of work? Did you do costuming for high school theater?
You need to learn as well how to deal with people and intuitively understand their needs because some performers will be extra shy about asking for what they need which could be a safety concern and will effect their performance too, and others will be too high-maintenance and you need to be able to mitigate them constant complaining to you or you won’t get any other work done.

true, its just that people LOVE rags to riches stories as much as they don't want to admit it.

They are acting like shes totally unreasonable, and shes not. Appearing like an average jane while being anything but is attractive. If she were to recognize her wealth publicly, tons of people would be turned off.
Not the top 10%
Also, you said that it feels like wealthy people aren't thankful for their advantages, but some are. No, they definitely don't know how hard it is but a few of them are thankful if they had a good upbringing.

@@katgreer6113 I don't think people care that much about that.
