I don't understand cutting Hines if teams are going to be so used to not covering kicks I would make them cover every kick with super talented guys to do it in a week now where there's less emphasis on carrying special teams players less reps actually covering kicks okay let's see how good you are at it I would keep Hines
Cuz kickers will just kick it out the back of the end zone or so it hits the ground before the returner so they can’t field it. Id keep Hines regardless though, he’s better then whatever Taiwan jones was last year.
Yeah that extra year of control is nice for Basham, but that extra year would also likely cost more than it would to re-sign Epenesa at this point. I believe Basham would make roughly 3m in his final year, so re-signing Epenesa for less than 3m is likely very possible.
I think Epenesa sets the edge better than Basham and has more upward mobility to him. He was set back a bit by the meddling with his weight his rookie year and has an uncanny knack for knocking down balls thrown and clogging passing lanes and making the QB reroute his passes. Also, don't think Shane Ray has not chance. He does. He was a No:1 pick, and those injuries were behind him, and he has been keeping up with the game in the minor Canadian leagues. playing well there. He has a fire in his belly and Von on his side. He absolutely may make the club, especially if they move on from either Settle or Phillips, with Rouseau able to move inside on some plays.
Sure agree the team will try to trade one or two players. No idea who. Just one thought- the Bills are going to need a lot of young, cheaper players next year. Beane has been accumulating draft picks to this end. So first year players like Broeker and Austin might start with an advantage for the back end of the roster.
Sadly, the market for small quick kick-returners is going to be soft league-wide due to the rule change. So you could put him on the practice squad and it’s quite possible that no team will pick him up.
I am confused on how people think the Bills have good corners. White won't be the same post injury and the first round pick Elam isn't even projected to be your #2. I think that means they panicked and they really wanted McDuffie.
White will be close to what he was, Benford and Elam in their starts played really well, Jackson is a solid CB, just struggles at the catch point, but is a solid CB.
This is the exact thing I talked about before people think Trey's on his last legs the 34-year old Grizzle vet at corner he's twenty-eight and works his ass off that means he'll return to how Great he was

I don't think we should be trading aj, Hot take
Yeah seriously lol

I don’t understand how you reconcile trading Hines because of the new rules but keeping Siran Neal who is an absolute liability on defense.
I think Dane Jackson can play backup slot.. If Dane goes who's the backup slot

You guys didnt mention the cb from minnesota making the team or not
What positions are most "tradeable" in August, based on history? Depth Oline? Quessenberry? Nyheim Hines? AJ Epenesa? Dane Jackson?

@@David35687 Agreed. Getting a 7th for Hines would be a success. Especially because of his salary.
You cant start Hamlin on PUP, he's already practicing. To be on PUP you have to be on from the start of the off season program. That ship has sailed.
I bet the league would make an exception in Hamlin’s case.
😅😅didn’t 💩😮
I think AJ will play out his contract. He’s a solid backup. I see Lawson moving on first. If we trade anyone, I see Bashum
It's a shame our 2nd rd pick has only been a backup level player. Beane has to hit more on 2nd-3rd round guys.
Lol zero chance the bills trade one of the best returners in football
Literally every time Ryan Talbot starts talking, his first word is always “Yeah”!! Talk about a yes man… lol

I am glad things fell the way they did. Elam had a better year than McDuffie. Looks like a better pro.

@decryptkeeper9704 LOL wtf did you watch? 😂 not even close. McDuffie is going to be the Chiefs #1 this year lol
Yes play him man get rid of Dane Jackson
I don’t see a world where keeping Murray over Hines is a good idea. It actually sounds awful.
Really? Murray has been one of the most consistent backs over the last 8 years. Hines has been mostly relagated to return role and Harty can do that.
@@jonathanpielmeier4956remember what it looked like after Andre roberts
@@jonathanpielmeier4956also Murray is old and lacking explosiveness.
Murray is good in short yardage.
Dane Jackson is this router's Levi Wallace. Just rip off the band-aid.
QB = 2
Allen and Allen
WR = 6
Diggs, Davis, Shakir, Harty, Sherfield, Shorter
RB = 4
Cook, Harris, Hynes, Murray
FB = 1
Gilliam
TE = 3
DK, DK, Morris
OL = 9
Dawkins, McGovern, Morse, Bates, Brown
Quessenberry, Edwards, Torrence, Shell
I could see shair could play on the outside!
What’s the cap hit on Tre in case we decide to trade him if not up to “old self” and starting Elam and Benford? Getting younger in secondary.

I think we r gonna trade either Davis or shakir
