Breakups are always rough in the moment. Just know if it’s a struggle, painful, or unhealthy there are SO many awesome people out there in the world. I broke up with my ex a year ago & I moved across country for her and dated her for 3 years. Was deeply in love and it was devastating when I knew it wouldn’t work out but now a year later I’m happier than I’ve ever been! It’s corny, but time heals all wounds and you’ll find yourself thriving after you get to spend more time to yourself realizing your priorities + having more time to explore new hobbies :D sending you a ton of love brother ❤️
Ive heard a philosopher talk about how jealousy and admiration are two sides of the same coin. The term jealousy was originally a positive term, and comes from the greek word for "zeal" - as in great enthusiasm. energy and admiration. In middle english, it meant something along the lines of "fond, amorous, ardent." - It wasn't until some time later when it entered old french did it become more negative and synonymous with the modern term of "envy" - and so going off the original meaning, the philosopher claims that jealousy is inherently a neutral emotion, and admiration is actually a form of positive jealousy, where as envy is the negative form of jealousy. They are similar in that both involve comparing yourself to others, but different in that admiration makes you want to live up to and emulate the other person, where as envy wants you to spite them and drag them down to your level. Long story short, dont feel too bad about feeling "jealous" because I think the way you describe it, you are certainly in the admiration group, not the envious group.
Damn if you’re planning on playing any GACHAs I highly recommend Honkai Starrail and Wuthering Waves over Genshin, Genshin is basically the worse version of both of those games, this is coming from someone that’s been playing Genshin since the closed beta (and I still play it every day but honestly just because I’ve already put so much into it money and time wise) and has almost every character in the game. I guess the only real good reason to play Genshin over the others is that there’s an ungodly amount of content in the game for you to upload to your RUclips channel compared to Honkai Starrail or Wuthering Waves.
