For anyone who kept asking why 47 kill the postman is bcs normal people ( police , civilian , except the people in his agency ) must not know where he lives . Otherwise the authorities will find him and it will be risky for him . This is natural for assasin , besides he is a wanted man after all and ofcourse a lot people will haunt him . Thats why , he chose to kill the postman bcs the postman will compromised his place .
Thanks for the video! This helped. I did what you showed in the beginning with the part where you fiber wire the father in that area. But afterwards, I went to the attic and sniped the groom during the wedding from a window up there.
Perhaps, but I found this approach more fun. Besides, one of the beautiful things about this game (that Absolution seems to have missed) is that the ways to accomplish your missions are varied and entirely centered around letting you play however you want to. Where you prefer to poison the cake, I prefer to rig the chandelier to drop. Neither way is the "right" way, and both work wonderfully. I thank you for shining light on another option for my viewers to keep in mind. :)
I missed my timing with the father. So I sedated the guard in the courtyard, took his clothes and then snuck my way to the family graves. Pushed him into the grave, got back in the house and waited for the groom to be under the chandelier and then dropped him... Funniest contract yet.
SPOILERS: I dressed up as a priest and went to the graveyard where the father will occasionally turn up. I hit him with a shovel and placed him in a grave pit. Then I placed the mine in the bible and left it in the room with the cake to kill the groom. It felt very satisfying.
Works better (more consistent) if you go straight to the bride's father, then across the back lawn and hop through the kitchen window. It eliminates the oft likelihood of butler, priest or groom interrupting, which can cause you to get to the bride's father too late to take him out obscured from the guard's view. It's also more likely the guard left of the spiral attic stairs will be all the way in the far room with door shut. I was able to pretty much run non stop this way, and the groom was playing at the piano as I entered the party room from the back of the house. What I find strange though is I got only Hitman rating when I used Drunkard's clothes then Guard sitting on back porch clothes to push bride's father in grave then drop the chandelier on the groom while playing piano. Plus it only listed 1 accident. Yet it lists garroting bribe's father as an accident, for a total of two doing it this other way. Looking forward to Hitman 2015. Absolution added much needed polish to the series, and I expect the next one will even more so.
You dont have to set off an explosion, by the way. If you just poison that cake when nobody is in there, you'll kill him pretty fast. I think poisoned food/drinks count as accident kills, so bodies found dont add to your total. It's faster than waiting for him to play the piano and it doesn't cause an alert.
Alex Morgan Thanks! That's what I aim for, an easily replicated strategy.. best way to do a walkthrough in my opinion. I hate when you watch a guide and they do all this high-level stuff.. I just want to help the most people possible.
We'll see. I'm trying to come up with interesting ways to do the missions, since Absolution changed the formula so much with its changes to the mission structure and disguise system. The one thing I know for sure, if I decide to take on a walkthrough, is that it won't be on Purist mode.
This mission probably has a bunch of stuff but I literally just found the invite by luck pushed the dude poisoned the cake ran and spammed E next to the boat so his body wouldnt be found
Guys, if you do it this way, and Pappy LeBlanc is slightly faster and is ahead of the pillar quickly drop a coin behind the pillar while he's walking away. He should come investigate it and you can walk right up behind him and dispose of him as you like, but he might make noise if you take him as a hostage. I chose to poison him, though garroting works just as well. I just like the poison because it is harder to miss and is quicker than with a garrote.
It increases the number of enemies, makes them hyper-aware, and removes all HUD elements. Wit the way the Disguise system works, it forces you to play levels in certain ways or your success will be limited. It's my own opinion of course, so some people won't share it, but I think it removes all fun and creativity from the missions.
I think the first possibility is more like what had happened. 47 checks the envelope and it seems temper maybe this is why he kills him. There are many people he have met in person in missions.
And you are not even trying to distract with coins, it makes it easier to lure someone to our desired position or just force them away from a position to give us a little window.
Apparently, they made absolution focus more on story line, where as it's predecessors were more of "Here's an ocean... You are here *point to middle of ocean*... And, uhh, good luck!" To the computer (not saying that they aren't on console though) people who like the in depth, long levels, with lots of freedom, Absolution seems like a major punch to the face. I do believe what they were trying to do was make it more accessible to a more general audience.
You are again talking about fiber wiring the groom when he's near the cake. Do you even know that 47 carries a "poison syringe" as well which can be injected directly or even in food and drinks, it draws less attention and is usually faster than fiber wiring! But it seems you have been too busy in timings to notice other options and strategies. I'm not saying your methods don't work.
this is wrong method because when i start entering into mansion, guards start shooting me. why/ i dont know. But in yours why did the guards not shoot you, i am surprised?
Rahul Kumar You need the invitation from the drunk person at the beginning of the level, or the guards will shoot at you. Also, make sure not to have a weapon out.
I think the fucking timing of them patrolling on my PC is screwed up because I do exactly as you did and I miss the guy who is suppose to be behind the column. Can someone help me?
Yeah, without them explicitly indicating that the message carrier is a spy or something it just comes off as a major dick move by 47. I mean he's a ruthless killer, sure, but he typically leaves innocents alone unless we, as the player, decide otherwise in-game. cutscene 47 tends to have scruples. I was bummed when he killed this poor guy.
Well I did poison the cake and was able to hid the body in the container in the kitchen without nobody noticing me and then went on the 2nd floor and killed the old man while he was watching the tv and nobody saw me, but I got 36 witnesses... so murderer. Can somebody explain to me why? Is it because I killed the groom first?
I use to just turn every map into a massacre

In dificulties above normal poison doesn't count as a accident
great vids man the best part is you make it easy to understand and do..

Damn hitman blood momey and SC chaos theory are my favorites too bro,gg
This mission probably has a bunch of stuff but I literally just found the invite by luck pushed the dude poisoned the cake ran and spammed E next to the boat so his body wouldnt be found
Dat reacton
"Why, 47? WHY?"
V4lor149 you are very very very very good at this game

lol does anyone get nervous before you do the HIT?
I really like your style bro. I hope you keep makin' videos when Absolution drops.
i found it easy to poison the cake(climb through the window), then get a guards uniform and push pappy in the grave. its really simple
@v4lor149 are you going to make some silent assassin vid's for Absolution? you should do it on purist mode too!! for the real OG's haha
When i started to play hitman, i thought mass murderer was the best rank, since i enjoyed killing everyone
Dark
Yea... just kill everyone including the guests.
very smart strategy ! nice
That´s becouse 47 never allow contact in person.
The postman might have seen what's inside the letter and thus he had to kill him.
Also because he saw him in person.
I think the first possibility is more like what had happened. 47 checks the envelope and it seems temper maybe this is why he kills him. There are many people he have met in person in missions.
now try it with Elephant rifle on your hands. :D got "only" 3 witnesses with it..
Nice runthrough; I used a similar method and got the same result, although my way was longer.
Another SA, I sneak upstairs and wait on the fathers room closet, poison the father, and poison the cake. Sometimes i like do it in a guard disguise
And you are not even trying to distract with coins, it makes it easier to lure someone to our desired position or just force them away from a position to give us a little window.
Right, but he has used coins to send away the patrolling cop in garage of Dance With Devil
Bro, we didn't even get to see the chandelier actually fall and crush the guy? What the hell?
actually when 47 receives the letter he says "code red". that propably means that the messenger has to be terminated (I guess so)
If only the messenger slipped the letter under the door
Apparently, they made absolution focus more on story line, where as it's predecessors were more of "Here's an ocean... You are here *point to middle of ocean*... And, uhh, good luck!" Just saying. 47 killed that mailman as the letter said "code red"
5:50 you can poison the cake btw
You are again talking about fiber wiring the groom when he's near the cake.

@NikoBellicSerbia how do you know?
6:32 yiihhh (boom) lol
i fiberwired oldmam while watching tv,and poisoned the groom hehe
I somehow got silent assassin by blowing them both up with explosive presents...
you're ruthlessly efficient :) but why not just poison the wedding cake?
why did he kill the mailman? nice video btw
Code Red.
I noticed that it didn't show bribe options at the end, that means you recored the end stats on rookie difficulty
I have zero Notoriety, so there is no bribe option. Thanks.
mine shows bribe options even with zero notoriety
What version are you playing, because the PC version doesn't.
PS2 version, but I also have PC version so I can check it
uhm...yeah i have PC version and i have the bribe option at the end even my notoriety is zero
what version are you playing?
Agree to 100%

Anyone notice on on 0:16 Map of Denmark Where Hitman & Lego was Created
Who's Danish Anyone? =)
Not me iam Canadian BTW Eh! ;)
xiang qin IO Interactive is danish :>
Zafra Zafra of course they are, ;3
compared to hitman 1 to 3 these games feel so dead without npc dialogue and behaviours
Thanks mate!
you had more time, could make the old guy an accident..
It's much easier to poison the cake.
I ran to boat and also picked up gun some how i got full red bar they staryed shooting me and though i got SA lol
1:08 WHY, 47? WHY?
He did cuz that guy refused tip. Only bad guy in bellboy uniform could fefuse tip. Well, that's why he killed that guy.
I would take my time too, its a wedding cake ahhaha...Meow
I just don't understand why poisoning the cake doesn't result in a SA rating.
true
47 killed postman because maybe he read post
this is wrong method because when i start entering into mansion, guards start shooting me. why/ i dont know. But in yours why did the guards not shoot you, i am surprised?
Rahul Kumar You need the invitation from the drunk person at the beginning of the level, or the guards will shoot at you. Also, make sure not to have a weapon out.
+v4lor149 The guards dont care if you got a gun, just make sure you dont shoot it.
I think the fucking timing of them patrolling on my PC is screwed up because I do exactly as you did and I miss the guy who is suppose to be behind the column. Can someone help me?
this is exactly what I though about absolution

I was bummed when he killed this poor guy.
he is a professional killer and a psychopath. do you really think he cares about the mailman? besides, it's code red.
Can anyone tell me why 47 killed the letter delivery guy?
i think because of the "code red" that means 47 can't risk having a witness
poor guy, right? I mean, he looked so happy when 47 said he was gonna get tips and all :O
549 iirc you can also poison the cake
How do you know, got any prof
Well I did poison the cake and was able to hid the body in the container in the kitchen without nobody noticing me and then went on the 2nd floor and killed the old man while he was watching the tv and nobody saw me, but I got 36 witnesses... so murderer. Can somebody explain to me why? Is it because I killed the groom first?
Yeah man. Without the broom, the dustpan can't do shit..
+qadri rulzdood Yeah I feel you, must be good the thing you're smoking...
+Marco Bogliolo heheheh
I fucking missed him with the chandelier 😑
LOL I know that feels, man
used 2 ru ap mine and I finished this mission in 3 minutes
whats mean "swipe" there?? : l
i usualy snipe the groom from the graveyard
pro difficulty bro if a body that you killed is noticed you won't get SA rating, except if accident kill
like a ninja lol
His money (1:16) is $4,777,000 O_o
is US really like that? that's messed up
Welcome to land of opportunity hahaha...Meow
Geez fuck this mission, really dislike it, there aren't many windows to kill the targets, and there are guards everywhere
*facepalm* I'm not dead. -_-
Why the fuck did 47 kill the postman? It doesn't make sence!
😢🐥🔋☕
.
M hmm.
