Why does liquidation price change when average entry price stays the same?

This is something I am trying to research at the moment.
In theory liquidation price should stay the same if the position doesn’t change. If you have 2x leverage the liquidation price is at -50% because at that point you lost all of the borrowed money and the exchange wants your money to be even (a little bit of profit because of fees).
If the price goes up 100% the ratio of margin/positionSize = 0.25 so the price should be able to fall -75% after that until the liquidation price is reached. When reached -75% the margin/positionSize = 1 so the exchange again wants all of your money to not make a loss.
-75% after +100% is the same liquidation price as -50% from entry price so the liquidation price should stay the same because the exchange can’t loose.
BUT it seems as if exchanges raise liquidation price after the price goes up because they want to make more profit and nobody understands how liquidation price is calculated and plays along…
I don’t even know if I am right but I can’t find any other explanation

I feel that the last bull run was bolstered by all the money being printed. Major returns next bull run but I think they will be tamer in my humble opinion. A 10x on AMQ900E is and a 15x on polygon are fair considering how much those two coins are interwoven into the entire crypto ecosystem
