I made a promise to myself today for not watching any videos about the war this evening and still I started to watch a video from Stand With Us 😢 But I can’t do that today anymore so I came here instead ❤💕 You really are a great teacher and always explaining everything so clearly. I think I first found you when I was so fed up with ordering pretty scrapbook papers and wanted to start making my own papers. And stencils. I don’t understand how have I missed this video. Lovely boxes and thingies. I will try this. Much love from Finland 🇮🇱❤🇫🇮 Always praying for you 🙏
Here it is 2 years after the making of this video, and saw this in my feed tonight! You are such a good teacher! This just excites me to learn of all your techniques and materials used to produce such a high end look! Can't wait to try this! Thank you so much for the inspiration, and for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us! Absolutely in love with all of your work! 👏💖🥰
Noit, you are so comprehensive teaching all the finer details to make the projects and do it in such a way as to give confidence to attempt art that I would place in the too hard basket. Loved all of the boxes. The bottle is amazing - so beautiful. Thank you for all the wonderful tutorials. AUSTRALIA - ANNETTE. 🙏🙏♥️🙏🙏
I like using old fabric softener sheets, recycling is so nice and it smells good lol. also when you separate the napkins keep the part you don't use on your decoupage. Love what you have created it has given me so many ideas to play with. Thank you for sharing with us.
This is fantastic! We appreciate you taking the time to do this for us . Your explanation is so fantastic, it makes it seems simple! Thanks for all the different samples, they help us see the varieties of things we can create! Amazing what can be done with cheese cloth, duct tape, lace & different adhesives. You are incredibly creative and a fantastic teacher!
I am so happy I found your channel. Your explanations and substitutions, are wonderful. All channels I found previously, first gave a list of everything you need to complete the project. I did not see words, just dollar signs. You are a true artist and I appreciate the time you give in making videos. Thank you so very much!!
Beautiful, and thank you for explaining your technique. It is the easiest one to follow. I've watched lots of videos on altering books or boxes, and yours makes the most sense and is the easiest to follow. This is a fun thing to do to upcycle phone boxes or other sturdy boxes and turn them into something pretty and useful. Keeps them out of the landfill, too. Blessings to you. Stay safe, be well!
This is a very clever way of getting rid of “not knowing what to do with junk we can’t part with.” Thank you for coming up with this idea,,,,there are so many items needing new looks besides boxes - I.e. boring frames. Another wonderful video. You are the best Noit - Margalit
Thank you, Noit..I enjoy and understand your method of teaching..so clear..it's a gift for sure..you make me want to stretch my tent posts..Ty again.. Blessings
Thank you so much for teaching this technique. So beautiful! Now I have another use for my junk jewelry! I learn so many things from you and I like your style of teaching. Be well.
I just found you and am loving your videos!! I love it when you say "the cheap store!" Such a realistic approach to buying or finding supplies. Thank you.
No sabes cuanto me gustan estas técnicas con bisuteria y demás cosas que puedas tener!!! Gracias, gracias xq enseñas y haces ver las cosas muy fáciles!! No me pierdo ningún video!! Bendiciones 🌹♥️🐱
Thank you Noit for this wonderful tutorial. I did try it out for a birthday card and used the piece as a focal point. Very happy with the results thank you. Take care and always look forward to your videos.
Thank you for sharing this video and your knowledge. I have been wanting to do an altered box but continue to hesitate simply due from being overwhelmed not knowing where or how to start...even though I already knew and understand the fundamentals. I already have a wooden box, gesso, acrylic paints, metallic paints, pearlized paints, clay, moulds, decoupage materials, varnishes etc etc etc...I just couldn't sit down and start. But you said something (couldn't tell you what it was specifically) that has me ready, and excited, to get going on it! ☺ Thanks again, much appreciated!
I’ve always been drawn to boxes so I was so glad to come across this video. I’m very grateful for this tutorial and your careful explanations. I need to collect some found items and pieces of “junk” and give your method a try. Thank you so much.
Omg I had to pause before 2minutes just to say ohhhh woww, that sun and moon box is solo damn beautiful, I would really buy that it looks awesome. Thank you for your inspiration 🙏❤️. Love Sarah xoxo
Love this box and I have lots, well, a few, lol, boxes I've been saving to do "something" with and now, thanks to my most gifted friend, Noit, I know exactly what I want to do with them!!! Now all I have to do is find a bunch of tacky jewelry, and other junky stuff and turn them into boxes of beauty as you have done!!!!!! Thank you so much for this video.....hope mine will look at least 1/4 as good as your do!!!! Hugs to you pretty lady!!!!
I have a soft spot for all kinds of boxes Noit...so imagine how I feel when I see a lovely idea to play with some of them. I'll definitely be having a go at this style. Which means rummaging round to see what bits and bobs (known to me as treasures) I can find. Your boxes are really lovely and so full of interest. There's just not enough hours in a day...don't you find. 😂 Thanks for sharing. X
Ciao Noit, I am a new subscribe , i watched many of your video, you are an amazing artist. All your work it’s an art. I love all your pieces of art. I don’t speak well English but I hope you understand what I am saying. I send you a big kiss and all my admiration from Rome.
What would the difference be with black or white gesso i only have white gesso do. the painted colors come out different. Love your ideas thanks for sharing i really learn alot from you
If you use white gesso and on top of it dark colors than you'll just need more coats to make sure it's not showing, same thing the other way around. Thank you Penny

Do you seal the project after you are finished? (Varnish)
No I don't
Is the paint all acrylic water based ????
Yes
What gel medium did you use?????
Bought from a local cheap store
Is it necessary to seal mixed media on wooden box when finished. TY
It depends on the material used
Metal and wood embellishments
@@nancykareka6237 wood needs sealing
You are a nice woman!!
